Hello from Sweden!

Hey everybody!

My names is Jessica, I'm obviously swedish and am currently 27 years old. I used to be a part of this site back when it first started out, and boy has it changed since then!
Well, I'm back now, with a new account of course! I'm not sure what I'm looking to get out of my stay here yet. Possibly some roleplaying, since I haven't done that for ages.

Anyways, uh, yes. I'm an aspiring artist and doll maker (BJDs, Ball Jointed Dolls) looking for.. I don't know yet? [drool] I suppose we'll just have to see what I'll come up with! [XP]

Anyways, hope to see you alla round! :)

Cheers! [yumeh1]

Welcome to menewsha :D
I think I saw a thread about those dolls a while back

geminick 08-17-2014 08:32 AM

Thanks Poet! :D

Yeah? I think I saw one too, but now I can't find it. Oh well, perhaps I'll start a new one once I've gotten a little more into this site. :)

Ermahgerd Berks 08-17-2014 11:05 AM

I like dolls, I have two of them!

And I'm welcoming you, because I'm here and you're new!

I was told I should do some of this. Welcoming new people.

I'm glad you like dolls, I like them too!

geminick 08-17-2014 11:54 AM

Haha, nice nickname and sig you got there, Berks. XP Welcoming people is a nice cause. ;)

Dolls are awesome! So much creativity in a single item. :) May I ask what sculpts/molds you have?
I currently only own two full dolls and two heads, I've sold off my whole collection quite recently. Anyways, those I have are;
- Fairyland Feeple65 Chloe (full doll)
- SOOM MD Chrom human version (full doll)
- Bimong Narin Charisma (head only)
- Minifée Siean (head only)

Ermahgerd Berks 08-17-2014 12:10 PM

Oh, I don't have any fancy ones. I want them, but I don't have any.

Mine are nice, but they're not that nice. They cost more than anyone wanted to spend, but they're not super-fancy like yours.

I have a blonde doll and one with dark brown hair, and I can pose them and stuff. They have all their joints, anyway.

My Vera made them more clothes, too! I want to take pictures of them in their outfits! I love dolls!

geminick 08-17-2014 12:24 PM

Fancy and fancy... I think that depends on what the owner does with them! :) Mine are only fancy because I pimped them with what I think of as cool stuff, not because of their price tag, I don't think those should matter. :)

You can see my (full) dolls on this page; Doll Collector | Geminick Unleashed and you can also see the ones I'm making myself on there as well, under the "Doll maker" page. Nothing too fancy, but I really love what I do.

Vera? Is that someone on Menewsha? Having a friend who can sew is aaaalways a good thing in this hobby.... XP

Ermahgerd Berks 08-17-2014 12:47 PM

Yeah, Vera's like my sister. She's here, and we live together! She sews a lot!

I love your blog! Your dolls are beautiful!

geminick 08-17-2014 12:54 PM

Ooh, I see! Sounds nice to have her around, then. ^_^

Aw, thank you, I'm glad you like it! ^_^ And my dolls, of course, hehe.

Ermahgerd Berks 08-17-2014 01:08 PM

I had a blog, but I took it down. Nobody ever posted any comments, and I only got 10 views a month.

I like yours, though.

geminick 08-17-2014 03:24 PM

Ah... I know that feeling. :/ No fun keeping a blog if nobody really notices I guess.

Thanks, I'm glad you do. ^_^

Libra 08-18-2014 05:24 PM

Welcome Jessica! What is the inspiration behind your avatar? I'm just curious xD

geminick 08-18-2014 08:12 PM

Hi Libra! Thank you! ^_^

The story behind my avatar? Well, I joined this site, again, with the idea of turning my avatar into an actual character, whom I could draw and write stories about. So far, I don't know much about him however, other than he's very, very different from my other characters; all pink, frilly and pretty haha. I wanted to create a really feminine male, I guess? :P
I think I might've been slightly inspired by a character named Linneus from a comic called Teahouse - ever heard of it? It's a boys love comic, so perhaps it's not something everyone reads.

Don't be so sure mene wont be interested [lol]
I've seen hordes of users fawning over a pairing of 2 of the NPCs...

Oh really? Which ones? :P I'd love to know. ;)

Libra 08-18-2014 08:26 PM

I'm sure some of the maid stuff will have to be on your list of things to get. Antagonist currently has a very frilly avatar xD

What 2 npcs Poet? Maybe I just haven't looked around Mene much ._.

The Wandering Poet 08-18-2014 08:28 PM

I don't really remember to be honest, as I'm not one of the fangirls. But I know that it was Nalin and someone else... maybe it was Abel...

geminick 08-18-2014 08:31 PM

Libra: Haha yes, I have seen that avatar, so FAB! XD

Poet: Nalin? What a cute name! Though I have absolutely no idea what NPC that is... I think I'll have to look around Mene some more, since I don't know anything about the NPCs at all...

The Wandering Poet 08-18-2014 08:33 PM

This NPC is Nalin. He runs the flower shop.

Here is more information on the NPCs

geminick 08-18-2014 08:47 PM

Ooooh, thank you for the info and link! Haha, aw, Nalin is kind of cute, yes. Gotta go read up on those NPCs, thanks!

Anyways, heading to bed now, hope to see you guys around! :) Cheers!

There are a number of little bits not in the bios that you'll have to find for yourself though by speaking with the locals. Like the mayor dressing in drag I mean like the recent NPC wedding.

Cardinal Biggles 08-19-2014 03:10 AM

I'm jealous. I bet Sweden is so pretty this time of year.

geminick 08-19-2014 04:30 AM

Poet: Ah, yeah, I read something about a wedding, mhmm. Better go read up on that, too. Hmmm.

Cardinal: Haha, well, yes, Sweden is indeed beautiful this time of year, but we've had a rough change from late summer to... something that's not quite fall, yet not quite summer. Most of this country's people get very down whenever this happens, since we get very little sunlight from now til.... March or something. It's a sad, yet somewhat cozy feeling. For now, at least.

The Wandering Poet 08-19-2014 04:32 AM

The wedding was lovely. Though I must say it took the pair long enough [lol]

geminick 08-19-2014 04:34 AM

Hahaha, I see, I see... :P Sometimes, people are indeed very slow.
