"I'm sure," Liz agreed with a nod. "Really. I'll be fine. The quiet might be good, y'know, let me get my head on a little straighter." She managed a smile. "But I definitely needed you this morning. Thanks for that."

"No problem," Hillary said. She hugged Liz. "I'll always be there if you need me, you know that."

"I know." Liz smiled and returned the hug. "Now go have some fun company for a while. I'll text you if anything else happens."

"Promise me you'll speak up if you need anything," Hillary said. "I'll come back."

"I will, I promise," Liz said. "You'll be the first to know."

"Okay," Hillary said. "Then I'll go change and text Steve." She gave Liz one more hug and then headed into her room to get properly dressed.

Liz nodded and stayed in the kitchen for the moment. She'd text Bucky later, if she felt up to it.

Steve had settled in for a day in with Bucky, since he hadn't heard from Hillary in a while and figured things had fallen through.

Once Hillary was changed, she texted Steve.

Liz is doing better. How's Bucky?

Better, much closer to normal, Steve texted back. Back to growling at video games, which is normal.

Good to hear. Hillary couldn't help but smile a bit. So... still feel like going out for tea?

Sure, I can be ready to go in a few minutes. Just need to clean up a bit. Not that Steve really needed to, but it would give him time to be sure that Bucky was okay.

Take your time. I'll meet you outside the tower. It wasn't that far of a walk, and it was a nice day out. Hillary didn't mind meeting him there.

Alright. See you soon. Steve tucked his phone away again.

"I'm going out for a bit. You need anything?"

"Go on and see your girl," Bucky said. He cursed under his breath at the video game. "I'm good now, Stevie."

Steve huffed and rolled his eyes. "Of course you are. Punk." But he grinned and stood to go get ready.

Once Steve was gone, Bucky picked up his phone and texted Liz.

Feeling any better?

A bit, yeah. Liz was feeling better. Just not normal, not yet.

Steve sent off a quick text to Hillary that he was heading downstairs in case she wasn't there yet. But he figured hopefully she was there and hadn't been waiting long.

Bucky hesitated a moment.

Want some company?

Hillary grinned. She had just gotten to the tower when Steve texted her, so his timing was great.

I won't be very good company today but you can come over if you want. Liz wasn't going to say no to him. Not when he might actually help.

Steve jogged outside and grinned when he saw her. "Hey."

I'll be there soon. Turning off the game, Bucky went and changed into something good enough to go out in public in, and headed out to Liz's apartment.

Hillary grinned when she saw Steve.

"Hey," she said. "Come on, I know just the place for us to go, if you're still willing to try some tea."

Liz just waited for him quietly, keeping her hands curled around her mug of tea. She was still feeling less than human, but she got the feeling if anyone got that, he did.

"I'll try it," Steve agreed. "I can't say I'll like it, but I'll give it a try, at least." He grinned at her.

Ten minutes later, Bucky knocked on the apartment door.

"Liz?" he called.

Hillary smiled at him and started walking towards the tea house.

"I'm sure we can find something there you'll like," she said.

Liz got up and opened the door for him, managing a little smile.

"I have tea if you have any interest in some," she said, going back to the kitchen table. She trusted he'd close and lock the door.

Steve chuckled but let her lead. He was willing to try this, and he got to spend more time with her, so unless all the tea was terrible he figured it would at least even out, if not go in his favor.

"Is it good?" Bucky asked as he locked the door behind him. He was paranoid enough at the moment that he didn't think twice about it.

The tea house wasn't far, and the guy at the front grinned when he saw her.

"Hey, Hillary," he said. He stopped and blinked when he saw Steve.

"Hey, Josh," Hillary said. "Any open tables?"

"Uh... yeah, sure," Josh said, still a bit stunned at seeing Captain freaking America in front of him. "Second from the left against the wall."

"Great," Hillary said. "Thanks!" She tugged on Steve's arm and headed to the open table.

"It's calming." Liz shrugged. "You can try some, I won't be offended if you don't like it."

Steve grinned a bit at that. Yeah, he was used to those shell-shocked faces of people seeing him out in public.

"Now, as long as he doesn't let everyone else know that I'm here, we're good," Steve said quietly, pulling out a chair for Hillary.
