"Good," Hillary said. "That means Liz will be able to relax." She wasn't so much worried about herself; she was more worried about her friend and what might happen if the wrong people found her.

"Bucky's got her," Steve said. "She's safe, you don't need to worry about her." He quirked a bit of a grin. "He'd risk a lot to keep her safe."

"Good," Hillary said. "That means I don't have to threaten him at all. She deserves someone to take care of her like that."

Steve smiled. "I wouldn't worry about them," he agreed. "Bucky will do whatever he can to keep her safe and happy."

"He'd better," Hillary said. She snuggled against his side, adjusting some of her coils so she was more comfortable.

Steve grinned at that. Aw, it was cute, the way she was so protective of Liz. Not that he'd tell her that just yet, though.

Hillary could feel his amusement, though, and made a bit of a face at him, even as she turned a bit pink. He didn't need to tease her about it~!

Steve just grinned, amusement fading to warmth and affection again. Really, though, she was adorable, even when making faces at him.
