Way back when the world was young the cat and the rat were best of friends. However, upon receiving the words of the race, the rat wanted to win the race. It didn't even want its best friend to win. The cat wanted to race too. It told the rat that he would sleep and trusts the rat to wake him up in the morning of the race. However, on the morning of the race, the rat slyly didn't do it and ran off.
At the last leg of the race, the ox had taken over the rat. Even more determined to win, the rat jumped onto the ox's back. As the rat was light, the ox didn't know and carried on running. At the finishing line, the rat jumped off the ox's back to win the first place of the Zodiac.
When the dragon finished the race, God wondered why he had not taken first place. In reply, the dragon said that he had to first bring rain to crops and help the people. God was pleased at that. The pig was far too lazy to wake up. However its friend, the dog, woke it up and told him to get going. That's why the dog and the pig's positions are close: the dog ran in front of the lazy pig who walked all the way in the race.
As for the cat, he remained sleeping, waiting for his best friend rat to wake him up.
Only after God declared the Zodiac did the cat wake up. It rushed to the end of the race, only find out the rat betrayed him. From that day onwards, the cat and the rat's relationship soured till the cat kept on chasing the rat.

Bio: Renji is a quiet man he is in the high school he is dark prince at the school he doesn't like Yuki Sohma much. Renji is a mean one but he gets along with Bell. Renji tries to be cold to people but inside he is a sweet guy but lonely.

Bell hurried to school brushing past the Sohma boys "sorry." she called over her shoulder then went face first onto the floor with a groaned. "Ow." she grimaced.

Akito watched the Sohma children playing she was bored out of her mind. No one knew yet that she was female and she planned to keep the secret as long as she could. She rested her head on the window sill wishing the zodiac would stay with her.

Kyo was walking to school he lost yet again from Yuki and hated him for that and then saw the girl and fell on her face and Kyo sigh and went to her and held out his hand and said "come on."

Renji sigh and was ready for school and got dressed and was wearing his prince outfit and looked handsome. Renji left his house and then was walking saw this great house and then saw children coming out and almost got hit. Renji grabbed the kid and took the kid to the house and saw a person watching the the children through the window.

Akito vanished into the house she hated outsider they always took her zodiac from her. She sent a servant out to see what the problem was. The kid was crying and apologizing for running into him "What's seems to be the problem?" the servant asked.

Bell blushed and took his hand getting to her feet. "Thanks." she mumbled. "Your Kyo right?" she knew that of course but she wanted to make small talk.

Renji sigh and said "this kid left the house and was in the street and almost got killed and the person who owns this house the these kids must be careless." Renji put the child down and said "Don't do that again." Renji put up his bag and glared at the servant and walked out and headed to school.

Kyo helped her help and nodded and was going to walk away until he heard his name Kyo looked back at her and said "yes I'm Kyo Sohma." Kyo turned around and said "girls like you want Yuki mostly his fan club." Kyo got closer to her "you are cute miss?"

"Yuki's alright I guess." Bell shrugged "I think your nicer then you let on though." she took a step back smiling at him. She didn't mind being around him but she did have a personal bubble.

Akito stormed after the person and struck him across the face. "How dare an outsider judge us when you nearly ran that child over not paying attention you should be the one that's more careful." Her attendant rushed out and calmed her. "Please for give him sir he's very sick and doesn't know any better." Akito just glared as the attendant explained her actions no one but her could treat the children that way.

Haru came in and heard what happen and sigh and learn against the door way "so let me guess Dark prince Renji was here wasn't he Akito." Haru smirked.

Kyo looked at her and blushed that he is kind and looked away and sigh a bit "yea I guess." Kyo looked at her and then some bumped into him and saw it was dark prince Renji and he sigh "man that guy is so rude."

Renji walked and remember the guy looking and remember the head of the family. Renji hated yuki but wonder who the head of the family. Renji saw Kyo and bumped into him but walked away and really didn't care had more stuff on his mind.

Bell blinked and grimaced. "He really is a jerk." she sighed and glanced off. "Well I'm off to class see you around."

Akito spent the rest of the day making her servants work over time to keep her in line.

Renji got to school and got to class in time and sat in the back and sigh and put his glasses on and then the girls hate him but thought he was hot.

Kyo sigh and then got to school and then saw the girl again and was in class and saw Yuki and tohru and they talked for a while and looked at Renji he was rude but the girls loved him.

Bell didn't much like Renji she thought he was to full of himself and that someone needed to knock him down a peg or two. With a roll of her eyes she focused on the teacher taking notes.

Renji was taking notes in class as well Renji looked at Bell and Kyo and thought Bell was too nice and thought Kyo was a stupid cat he thought. Renji wanted to ask Kyo about the Sohma home.

Kyo almost fell asleep in class.

Bell kicked Kyo with the edge of her foot and grinned at him. "Wakey wakey." she chuckled standing as the bell rung. "It's only the first period." she teased.

Kyo fell over and rubbed his head and saw it was Bell and got up and said "Bell for goodness sake I was trying to rest a bit."

Renji sigh and stood up and said "That is Kyo for you oh yea I wanted to ask you what is the deal with that guy with the black hair."

Kyo froze and only know one person "you mean Akito he is head of our family he is not nice I think you and him would get along."

Renji sigh and then walked out and kept thinking about that guy.

Bell glared after him then smiled at Kyo. "Well too bad." she chuckled and helped him up "There." she patted his chest and looked away. "Hope you didn't break anything."

Kyo looked at her and said "nope I am strong and someday I will beat Yuki and of yea Renji hates yuki then i do so he and i get along sometimes."

Renji sigh a bit and leaned against the pole outside and then saw a boy coming up and it was the man he saw in the window before.

Akito decided to see Yuki she missed her favorite Zodiac. She walked right past Renji ignoring him smiling when she saw Yuki and pulled him away.

"Who's that?" Bell asked spotting the guy dragging Yuki away "Why is he dragging Yuki off?" she frowned and glanced at Kyo. "You think we should check on him?"

Kyo walked with her and saw him and glared and said "that is Akito the head of the family and he is mean and rude." Kyo looked at her and followed them and was behind a wall.

Renji saw what happen the man took Yuki and normally Renji would be happy but for some reason something click in him. Renji followed and saw what happen and then sighs and then gets a ball and kicks it in Akito stomach.

Kyo saw Renji and knew Renji hates Yuki but saved him and said "wow that is a first."

Akito coughed hand going to her stomach she hissed and turned to Renji losing control she turned to Yuki "Don't just stand there." She hissed at him "You are my pet protect me." When Yuki looked away she stormed over to Renji and back handed him as hard as she could "children should not interfere." she snarled. She glanced at Yuki then spotted Kyo "Stupid Cat." she growled "With a stupid girl...stay away from him or else." she grimaced gripping her stomach harder.

Renji looked at him and he got slapped but it didn't hurt him and smirked "so you are head of the family you got to kidding me you are such a bully you are nothing just a child who is jealous you left a child almost died and you think you owe people well think again." Renji looked at him with his blue eyes and said " you should get a life!"

Kyo glared at him and then heard Renji he wasn't backing down and he stood his ground and was in shock no wonder why he was the dark prince. Kyo put Bell behind him and crossed his arms "I might be stupid but I have friends and family that care about me the way i see it you don't you are just a child."

"YOu want to wind up look the cat Kyo? I suggest you head off to class." Akito smirked then looked at Renji "What I do with my own family is none of your business if you try to interfere you'll get burnt." she chuckled. "You can stay Yuki but I'll be expecting you to join me soon." Akito gave his cheek a kiss then left.

"He's crazy." Bell mumbled and blinked. "Lets never run into him again." she clung to Kyo's arm. "He scared me."

Renji smirked and didn't like him one bit but he felt something why would a guy kissed him and thought he was gay but then it hit him and smirked about it. Renji went after Akito and if he was right. Renji grabbed Akito and pushed him against the wall "look here you get threaten me all you want but I don't back down and Yuki is not yours I might hate him but he as a life." Renji then said with a grin on his face "you are not man are you Akito."

Kyo sigh and looked at her and nodded and saw Renji went after Akito and then grabbed Yuki "Damn it Yuki you need to stand up to Akito." Kyo hated Akito and wants Akito to feel pain.

"Your an idiot I just like guys." Akito snorted "And Yuki is mine we're lovers." the lie was easy and fun to say. "Know unhand me or I'll call the cops.'' she grinned and chuckled as Shiguri come out of nowhere and pulled Renji off "Your coming home." Shiguri pulled away.

Bell sighed "Don't be mean Kyo I'm sure Yuki has his reasons." she smiled at Yuki who was looking away in shame "Whatever." he walked off. "Poor thing." she sighed.

Renji smirked and knew it was a lie and it didn't fool him of course and saw someone pulled him off and sigh and then one of a man came to him and helped him up and sigh. "Master Renji are you alright." Renji sigh and nodded and looked at them leaving "can you ask father to check if Akito is really a man?" The butler nodded and bowed to him and Renji followed him back to his car.

Kyo sigh and walked with Bell and saw Renji getting into a car and was lost "well he is rich after all I guess Renji and Akito are alike."

"What's Akito's problem anyways?" Bell asked blushing at the fact that Kyo had decided to talk to her.
