VERY MUCH SO. I'm trying to work with pencil, paper, and inconveniently vague mental images of characters over here.

HIM_ROCK 12-14-2014 08:38 PM

Sims are all set up to go

Yup, money makes the world go 'round...

It's stupid but eh.
Oh well.
My dad also wants me to become an author and sell my books on amazon XD
Not sure if any of my books however that I do or would write would actually sell though.

Most of my work is not finished but I would love to see my own finished
work as weird as that sounds. [XD]

I actually want to be a pixel artist as well[but they do not have to pay me at all]
I joined a new site that needs artists so maybe I'll try that.
i think menewsha's shading is too...hard for me to learn when I do not or have not done it in forever.

I also keep suggesting to you to check out/use www.oDesk.com
I'm positive you and your sister could find some stuff on there that pays.
For example one of the jobs I used to do on there was write reviews for ebooks that would get sent to me. After reading them I'd give a paragraph or two review on the book on Amazon. Each review would pay me between 15-25 dollars AND I got the book for free every time.

if we have to or need to work at home
for any of these jobs that site has, I don't think either of us would be interested.
We want to get out of the house.
We have just been cooped up in here for too long.

My sister when she starts to feel better is planning to volunteer at a cat shelter we have and I might do that too as well.

Guess he means both?

Virtual Assistant. Most employers on there that are looking for one prefer them to be female.

Looks like you have to create a listing about yourself, as opposed to browsing already created job listings?

You do both. You browse for jobs, but job listers can also browse profiles that meet the criteria that they have set. i still get emails daily about invitations to interview for various things even though I haven't been online in months.

Okay, but to get out of the house you need money for a wide variety of things you've talked about. So how about not being so picky and realize that hey, this may not be a bad thing to pass the time with instead of shooting it down and thinking you have all the answers.

[feesh]

I'd probably be fired instantly. I don't really have the concentration or mind for a job to do at home.
I have so many distractions at home not to mention I barely am left alone for very long.
Everyone is all up in my face and the people at the apartments can't wait after or even at noon to start hammering and sawing shit. e.e

So really, I don't think it would work out very well doing an at home or virtual job.
Which is why I am trying so hard to get some art done so I can get an ID open a bank account/paypal and do commissions for RL money.[squee]

Amane 12-14-2014 08:55 PM

And they think I'm in a rush to get to THAT life age.

Toys these days aren't playin' around.

Imagination 12-14-2014 08:56 PM

I'm confused Amane, what's going on?

Amane 12-14-2014 09:07 PM

First part of that post: Adulthood has too many downs for me to be excited about leaving my parents.
Second part: Saw a toy commercial that wowed me.

HIM_ROCK 12-14-2014 09:10 PM

HIM's given up on ever moving out....unless HIM gets sectioned

Amane 12-14-2014 09:12 PM

What's "sectioned" mean?

Thanks for the info.

I agree.

What do you mean?

MoodyBats 12-14-2014 09:14 PM

@Salvete
thank you. [heart][hug]

I must take my leave now.
Must go to the dreaded store.

salvete 12-14-2014 09:15 PM

Buying groceries, right? Hope you find all that you need!

Amane 12-14-2014 09:16 PM

OH. You guys were reading those two sentences as one statement, weren't you?

Imagination 12-14-2014 09:16 PM

I'm blowing up people [cool]

Adulthood has its pros and cons.

What toy?

Amane 12-14-2014 09:26 PM

Hummy and I jamming out to Hello Kitty.

Imagination 12-14-2014 09:26 PM

I had an ex that was obsessed with Hello Kitty.
Never could understand why...

Amane 12-14-2014 09:27 PM

That's what I'm sayin'. There are too many downs for me to be happy about the ups.

A Frozen ice castle. Thing was huge, and the DETAIL.

Imagination 12-14-2014 09:31 PM

Thats one of the things I love about winter.

Amane 12-14-2014 09:34 PM

She's so cute! My obsession with Hello Kitty is because my momma decided I was too old for cartoon characters (notice the flawed logic here). I don't know why Hummy likes her so much. My oldest sister likes her more than I do. Maybe.

Imagination 12-14-2014 09:39 PM

You realize she's not actually a cat right?

salvete 12-14-2014 09:40 PM

Hello Kitty looks like a humanoid cat to me.

Amane 12-14-2014 09:41 PM

LOL! Close enough for me. [squee]

salvete 12-14-2014 09:44 PM

Well, alrighty then. :)
