It's actually something in their saliva that people are allergic to - people think it's the hair, but it's because the saliva is on the hair, that's why it is commonly mistaken for it being the cat hair that people are allergic to. [yes]

Learn something new every day. And I agree. My poor brother is the most allergic to cats than mom or I, we just have to make sure the cat stays out of his bedroom - he doesn't live at home, so that helps as well, that he's not around the cat all that much. [yes]
