What's everybody doing tonight/day?

I got distracted by my Wreck this Journal. :P

Me by chocolate covered orange peels.

I didn't even know orange peels were edible.

I've seen those before - I can't eat them as oranges and I don't get along. [sweat]

I've never seen chocolate covered orange peels. Orange chocolate, chocolate with orange filling. And I've heard of chocolate covered oranges. But orange peels? Total surprise.

I'm sorry oranges don't agree with you. :c

If I'm remembering right - my mom has had them or was it my dad, they thought they were alright.

Yeah. :( I tried having an orange on Wednesday, I ended up with a 14 hour long headache. D:
And I didn't even manage to get the darned thing open. :/ I'm considering throwing all five of them out - I shouldn't have bought them. :( Waste of 5 nice organic oranges. *sigh*

I'm sorry to hear! Can you maybe give 'em to someone, a friend? That way its worth it~

To me they are. [yes] I'm not really allergic, like I can eat them. [yes] It's just the smell of them gives me headaches, almost ones that hit without warning instantly. [sweat]

(I thought I would be ok with these as I did try them before I bought them, and they didn't even make me feel sick to my stomach, as most oranges do - when they're too sweet. So I went for it - five of them... *sigh*)

I may just post on the page for my dorm building to see if anyone in the building wants them. I'm pretty sure they're still good. I would offer them to my roommates, but I'm not sure I even want them in the kitchen - out of the room completely may be the safest thing to do. [yes]

At least the money went to local growers, instead of some large store, so at least that's a positive that came out of it. [yes] :)

c: Its nice of you to support the local growers. I'd like to do the same- There's a farm nearby. But their costs are just so high. :c Fff their strawberries look so good too... sigh. :c.

I've grown up supporting local, and I do it as much as I can - sometimes it's not possible, but when I can, I definitely buy local. :]
My campus recently started a farmer's market - bringing people here, so it is easy for me to go - it's once a week on a Tuesday, and it's in between my classes! I get out two hours before it ends, so it's perfect! :] They have pretty decent prices too for being local grown. Strawberries are so taunting!

I grew up with a best friend who's dad worked for a berry company that's pretty well known (Driscolls is the name of the company) so I grew up getting a lot of free berries - as they'd end up with free berries, which would somehow end up with us as they'd have so many. So I've been kind of spoiled because their berries are amazing - they only go with the best growers. Soooo hahaha, yeah! But I do love raspberries and strawberries. :D I love Strawberries cut up with Vanilla Greek Yogurt. [drool] So good!

.___. It'd be mean to wish ill on her. But its rather mean for her to kinda rub it in your face, too.
