Pretty funny how I found lactose-free chocolate ice cream soon after that song came out. It appears chanting "gimme that [x6] ice cream" with the song summoned it into my life.

Michy Lea 05-15-2015 07:16 PM

I would hate to be lactose intolerant.

Amane 05-15-2015 07:26 PM

I wasn't always, and that makes it even more terrible.

Kay 05-15-2015 07:27 PM

o3o so, I just bought a bunch of yarn today. I need to try and hunt down a few more skeins of a yarn, but I think I'm going to attempt to crochet a nice blanket. The yarn I'm going to use for that is an all wool yarn so it'll be nice and warm in the winter.

I was at a store earlier and they had a ton of yarn on clearance. Might go back when I get a chance and pick a bunch up. Maybe do some home made Christmas gifts this year.

Amane 05-15-2015 07:40 PM

You know what? School is too scary.

Michy Lea 05-15-2015 09:11 PM

A lot of people seem to develop an intolerance to lactose as they age. It's kind of weird.

I wish I could learn to crochet, but it seems complicated. All I have ever learned is how to make like one long piece or braided yard.

Amane 05-15-2015 09:13 PM

CROCHET IS AWESOME.

My momma did that! I got lactose intolerance from my father's side, but my momma's family was always fine with milk until they got older. Fairly recently.

Michy Lea 05-15-2015 09:48 PM

As far as I know, no one in my family has lactose intolerance, except one of my nieces. I guess she gets it from her dad's side. But she had it at birth and is more tolerant now.

Amane 05-15-2015 09:49 PM

I've had times in my life when I wasn't lactose intolerant again. ???

Wonderlands 05-15-2015 10:26 PM

Sounds like eczema for me. Definitely not as bad as a lactose intolerance but it used to be bad. Now I rarely have it. The scars are kinda eh when I do though.. at least I look like I've been wrestling bears or something.

Amane 05-15-2015 10:28 PM

I had problems with dry, itchy skin on my hands and wrists when I was younger. I get it a little in the winter, but it doesn't itch, and it goes away if I keep lotion on.

Wonderlands 05-15-2015 10:34 PM

Winter is such a great time for eczema to come out to play. We never really found anything that stops me from itching back in the day. I try to use savlon now whenever I find a spot haha. It seems to dull the itch a little.

Amane 05-15-2015 10:51 PM

There was a cream I used to need to keep it at bay.

Wonderlands 05-15-2015 10:54 PM

There was an eczema cream but the requirement was to put it in BEFORE you itch. being a kid, it just happened haha.

Amane 05-15-2015 10:55 PM

That's not convenient. It's unpredictable.

Wonderlands 05-15-2015 11:00 PM

Exactly! We never found out if it worked or not.

Amane 05-15-2015 11:07 PM

Man, I don't miss using that cream.

Wonderlands 05-15-2015 11:51 PM

Taking things routinely is annoying.

hummy 05-16-2015 01:15 AM

Wonderlands 05-16-2015 01:16 AM

What item are those birds associated with, hummy? The only birds I've ever seen besides those are the blue winter birds.

I think it was an EI.. I can't remember the name though sorry.
That wasn't a help at all, haha.

Michy Lea 05-16-2015 02:09 AM

xD Well, thank you for giving me a direction in my search.

Edit: Found them! They are the Wedded Bliss Topiaries from the Summer/Wedding Event from last year.

Wonderlands 05-16-2015 02:25 AM

I couldn't even remember what event they were from though, haha.
But woo, you found them anyway~
