"I'm completely serious though." Erik pulled into the parking lot of the restaurant.

"cute",April said getting out and looked herself over for a moment. 'I am way under dressed',she thought with a sigh,closing the door carefully.

"you look fine." Erik smiled and headed inside no one in there was dressed fancy so they fit in. "Two please." the person lead them to a seat leaving them to look over the menu.

April sighed in relief and smiled as they sat down.Staring at the menu

"Get whatever you like I'll pay for it." Erik ordered a soda and relaxed humming softly.

April looked up to him."you dont half to",she said nervously.

"Don't be a poo I want to treat you." Erik smiled.

April blinked a few times but smiled back to him"thanks"

"Good." Erik smiled again and gave his order to the waitress.

April gave hers as well then looked to Eric."so what brouht you to Gotham?",she asked starting a conversation

"Oh the thrill of trying to survive in this crazy city...plus it's the cheapest place to move to." Erik chuckled.

"Well it was either that or were superman lives." Erik chuckled. "Both places are so full of crime you wonder if the hero's are actually helping." he hadn't meant to say it but there it was.

April twitched."well the criminals sure art, killing and torment insosent people for fun",she said trying to keep her temper under control.

"Well would the Joker exist if Batman hadn't chased him when he was red hood. He scared him and he fell in the vat of whatever." Everyone knew the story so he felt safe using it as an example. Erik couldn't stop hero's thought they where so great but it wasn't true. "Heck he's also part of the reason Harley exists if he had never made Joker. Joker wouldn't have gone to Arkham and Harley wouldn't have meet him."

"well if criminals just got normal jobs then there would be no need for heroes",she retorted back,not caring that they were starting to get stared at. "think about of the red hood had simply stayed normal.and earned his money ,instead of using underhanded tricks,like all the other gang,things ,and fellow idiots out there , the batman wouldn't have had to chance him"

"Riddler did have a normal job but he got fired." Erik smirked. "Crane was normal once as well.'' he sat back examining her. "This city also help make Catwoman. Maybe it's just the city that makes bad people. Even Batman with his holier then though attitude is seen as bad by some people...even some of the cops."

April held in a snaral and stood."cancel my order",she said softly."if i knew any better id say you were one of the criminals",she said lowly and left heading for home

"no ,everyone's allowed to think what ever they want ,i just dont understand how people can stand up for them,when they kill people whove done nothing to them"she said turning down an alley.

"Riddler's never killed anyone and I'm not defending I'm just saying that maybe it's not all there fault there the way they are." Erik sighed.

"And its not all the heros fault eaither",April said softly then stopped when some thugs came out of the shadows making her stop.

Erik reached his side scowling at them. "Move on." he said voice going dark. "Now."

April looked to Eric before back to the men who laughed,slurring some."great,thier boozed filled thugs",she said spotting thier guns she glared some.

Erik sighed softly. "Great." he gripped the gun he always kept with him.
