April stayed close to him."m-maybe we should go help"Slade terrified her, but , she didnt want to have anyone killed by him.

"If you want but I want you to be safe." Erik frowned a little. "I'll go with you if you really want to go."

April frowned."I want you safe to",she said sqwezing him a bit." I dont watSlade to kill you too"

A large boom filled the city even reaching there ears. A dull scream followed it then another bang. "The heck?"

April cringed,trying to tun out the noice but slowly pulled away form Eric."I'll help them one more time",she said softly

"Lets go see what the damage was." Erik lead the way back up top and turned to the city. "Know that's a cloud of smoke." he stared at the mushroom cloud that was filling the sky.

April frowned."wh-what happened?",she said worried

"No idea." Erik grimaced. "It was a tie." A dull voice said from behind them making Erik jump a mile "Jeez.'' he glared at Martha who was pressing a rag to her bleeding arm. "We aren't sure who survived. If anyone." she looked out towards the city. "I just go back from helping the people." she explained her wound.

April stareed."lets go check it out",she said softly

Martha took her hand even though it seemed like she didn't notice she had done it. When they reached the explosions source they found a fallen building and a small crater. "Oh." Martha gasped watching the rescuers digging threw it the pulled out Nightwing first and Martha rushed to check on him.

April followed and then started to scan for the others.

Nightwing groaned,he was alive but unconchous.

Martha found Damien next he was barely alive and the medics took him away before she could check on him further. With a swallowed and scanned the area for her father. "Bruce." Selena was heading for a still form that once Martha got close to she could tell it was her father who appeared not to be breathing. "no." she hurried forward and helped her mother unearth them. "Dad?" she shook him. "No, no daddy? Get up.'' she started crying.

April twitched watching her father and Damein get taken away,then watched Martha and Selena from afar.She gripped her fist,if Slade was alive.She froze."Slade...the pool...the boat",she muttered seeing flash of it in her head."W-we can save him",she said suddenly

Martha looked torn between saving her father and forcing him to become like Talia, Ra's or worse like April. "I don't know if dad would want that." she bite her lip then noticed her mother digging another person out it was Slade and with a snarl Selena stabbed him and did several other R rated things to him. "Gross." Erik grimaced. "Lets save your dad." Selena looked to Erik who helped lift Bruce Martha let the protest die as her mother and Erik carted her father off.

April looked to Martha.She went to speak,but couldn't ,then followed Eric and Selena closely .Stareing at the ground.

Martha followed along slower as they reached the boat she stayed in the doorway watching as Selena placed Bruce in the pool after a few minutes Bruce woke with a yell and glared at Selena eventually the gaze softened to his normal look and he held out his hand frowning. "Why did you do this?" he sounded disappointed in her. "You should have let me die." "I told you." Martha smiled at her father who reached out and hugged her. "Thank goodness your alright." he ran a hand threw her hair. "Did I do it?" "yes though mom helped a little." Martha smiled at him.

April stayed back glad he was back.Sighing she slipped away quickly

"Wait April." Martha and Erik went after her. "I know you don't think I carried about Jason dying but I did care I just don't show it well." Erik caught Aprils hand. "Don't leave me with them." he pouted.

April sqweezed his hand,not willing to let him go then looked to Martha and smiled."I know.Its okay",she said softly."you should go,be with your family"

"You should check on your dad as well. I'll see you soon." Martha went back to help her mom get her dad home.

"I told you she was a little saddened by it." Erik smiled. "Know back to my tunnel or to the apartment?"

April watched them go."lets check on my dad...and Damien...then lets go to your tunnel",she said softly.

"Alright." Erik kept hold of her hand as they headed for the hospital were both men were being treated. "You seem upset love." He finally commented.

April who had been deadly silent looked to him."im okay.Just tierd",she said keeping her head sown as they walked so no one would see her
