Damien grabbed her arm and gripped it tightly. "That's not true dad likes mom he had to for the drug to work and at least there honest in what they did Lori hide's behind her suit like it matters no one knows who she is. I am going to take over as the head of the league that way they have someone to watch over them and this city needs to be destroyed. Dad will never fix it that is the one thing he never understood that he will never understand. Ivy is all ready gone thanks to the assassins and the rest will be next." he dropped her arm and sighed. "I will not hurt you, father, Helena or Lori but something must be done. It would have made my mom happy." he smiled a little then walked out.

"Hew as physically attracted to her, but that's it. He never loved her." Gemini said calmly, not seeming to notice her arm being held so tightly. "And Bruce knew who Lori was when he slept with her, there was no lie there. If you're going to go ahead and destroy the city, then you're no better than any other criminal around here, and you have no right to get mad at me for killing anyone because you're a worse murderer than I am." She yanked her arm back as soon as he dropped it and watched him walk out. As soon as he was gone, she shut and locked her door, then picked up the phone and called Bruce.

Bruce was more than a little irritated when his phone started ringing, but knowing the very few people who had his number, it was probably important, so he pulled away. "Hold on a second." He told Lori, picking up his phone and answering it. "Hello? Okay, calm down...right...right...what?! He said...dammit, Gemini! Okay, I get it. Okay. I'll tell her. Bye." Closing the phone, Bruce looked at Lori. "You're not going to believe this..." He said, relaying what Gemini had told him.

Lori who had been resting on the coach playing with his hair blinked at what he said. "Can you really blame him? You've been running after the criminals basically your whole life and well...I don't think he'll destroy the city just the bad guys I feel bad for Pamey.'' she sighed.

Damien made his way threw the city coming to a stop next to a person in a cloak. "I did as you asked." he hugged the person tightly. "You were right about them mother."

Bruce was about to answer when he paused. "Pamey?" He asked, confused. Then he shook his head. "Never mind. Either way, I can't let Damien go through with this. I have to talk to him..."

Gemini sat back on her couch and buried her head in her hands. "What am I going to do, Lucifer? I used to like that kid. I feel like I pushed him over the edge..." She said. Lucifer whined and nudged at her leg. "What, what's wrong?" She asked. The pup whined again, more urgently. "What do you mean, he doesn't smell right? You think something's off with Damien? Oh God I'm talking to a dog..."

"we can go back know." Lori dressed quickly. "Lets go.' she smiled at him holding her hand out to him. "It's going to be a long night again." she chuckled.

Damien followed her mother around as they took down the criminals in the city old ones and there children. He was so glad she hadn't lost his mom that he didn't mind killing it was what he was brought up to do anyways.

Bruce nodded and took her hand. "I can't remember the last time I didn't have a long night." He said tiredly.

After a good twenty minutes of "talking" to Lucifer, Gemini was finally convinced that she was insane. She was also sufficiently worried, and decided to go out and take a look at things for herself. She got into her Vixen outfit and left the apartment quietly, bringing Lucifer with her just in case. Her first stop was to check on her boyfriend.

Joker was lying on the floor of his apartment everything a mess his hyena's nudged him and he groaned a little. "Fudge me." he grimaced and looked at her. ''Hey you." he smirked at her.

Lori got the tickets and leaned against him for the ride holding his hand tightly. "It will be alright Bruce we'll get threw to him and then sleep."

Gemini raised an eyebrow, holding Lucifer back from trying to play with the hyenas. "Hi. What happened here?" She asked, feeling a bit nervous. "I'm hoping Damien didn't show up..I had a really interesting talk with him a little while ago."

Bruce nodded absently. "I hope you're right. I always knew there was a chance this would happen with Damien, but I had hoped that living with me would stop it. I can't help feeling like I failed with him." He said, staring out the window as the train picked up speed.

"It's not your fault." Lori hugged him tightly and stayed like that for the rest of the ride. By the time she recognized the sky line of Gotham it was almost midnight.

Joker thought a moment "I'm not sure but I know Ivy must be hurt or dead because Talia is alive. She knocked me around a little before my hyena's managed to get her to leave.'' Joker sat up shaking his head.

Bruce sighed and hugged her back, not answering. He just watched out the window until they reached the city.

Gemini's eyes widened. "FUCK!" She shouted, losing her grip on Lucifer. Luckily, the pup was too surprised to do anything. "I can't believe this! Damien must have known. Is it even possible to kill that bitch?! How is she alive?! I stabbed her through the heart dammit!" Slamming her palm into her forehead, she leaned back against the wall. "Oh, crap. Bruce and Lori are on their way back! I've got to warn them..." She pulled out her cell phone and texted Bruce, hoping to God that he could keep Lori safe.

"There must be a lazeris pit somewhere in the city." Joker sighed and slowly got up testing out his body making sure he wouldn't fall over.

Due to the noise of the train neither of them heard his phone. Lori slipped off the train first then made her way towards downtown. "Where do we start?" She gasped and hurried to Ivy who was bleeding. "Ivy!" "Kitty, I'm so sorry Kitty." Ivy grimaced leaning against her. "You'll be alright Ivy." Lori examined the wound grimacing.

"I can't even...you know what? Screw it. I'm done. I am so sick of trying to help and getting kicked in the teeth for it. From now on, let Bruce deal with all the freaking enemies he's got. Unless Lori get's hurt again, I'm staying out of it. I don't care anymore." Gemini said. "I'm done pretending to be a good guy."

Bruce walked over to Ivy and Lori, being careful. Even though she was hurt, he still wouldn't put it past Ivy to attack him. "What happened here? Was it..." He paused, debating how much to say, then realized that Lori had probably already told Ivy everything about him. "Was it Damien?"

"No Talia cut her way out of my baby and did this her minions came and took her away...I think she's alive Lori." Ivy watched her friends face lake even more.

"Can you still deal with me?" Joker pouted a little and hugged her tightly.

Bruce felt horrified. "Alive? How...we were told she was dead. How did she survive? Lori. Lori, we have to find Damien. If she's already gotten to him, we could be in trouble..."

Gemini opened one eye. "Well, duh. Right now, I think you're the only one I can handle...which is something I honestly never thought I'd say." She said, turning to bury her face in his chest.

"Easy I am a little bruised." Joker didn't push her away despite what he said. He held her close and kissed the top of her head.

Lori swallowed "Yeah...what about Ivy?" she frowned. "Ivy? Oh lord Ivy?' she shook her friend. "No you can't be please I'll give you a kiss." she swallowed again. "Oh Pammy." she growled. "I'll kill her."

"Sorry."Gemini said, and stayed still, trying to be careful not to hurt him. She was fine just to stay there in that position, anyway.

Bruce placed a hand on her shoulder. "Is she...?" He asked, not wanting to finish the question. "You go do what you need to do. I'll bring Ivy to the hospital and see if there's anything they can do for her. I'll meet up with you after, if I can."

Lori nodded and hurried off. She needed to deal with Talia before someone else she cared for died she found Talia and Damien killing Riddler she felt no lost love for him. "Talia this ends know." she growled making Talia to turn a grin on her face.

Joker let go for a moment and sat down on the couch pulling her down with him holding her gentle.

Bruce wasted no time. He picked up Ivy and rushed her to the hospital, making sure that she was taken into care immediately. Once that was done, he went off to find Lori and, hopefully, Talia.

Gemini followed without complaint. She felt too tired to care much about anything at that moment, and on top of that she could feel a nasty bruise forming where Damien had hit her. "Is it okay...if I just stay here for a while?" She asked quietly.

"You can stay as long as you want." Joker smiled. "You can help protect me if Talia comes back." he teased.

Lori and Talia stared down while Damien looked between the two. "She is nothing to worry about mother you can beat her later." Damien said showing a little of his old self. "No my child she will just keep getting in the way I will deal with her know." Talia grinned and walked towards Lori who pulled a knife from her shoe taking a deep breath.

Gemini half-laughed. "Believe me, if she shows up here I'll make sure she never takes another breath." She said. "I never knew I could hate someone so much."

Bruce found the two, along with Damien, and was instantly worried. However, he knew that at that point, he couldn't interfere. It was Lori's fight this time. "Damien." He said, turning to his son. "Damien, what- no, why are you doing this?"

"Because I want mother to be happy and for things to be better in Gotham this is the best way to do both I can help mother and destroy all the people that make this city evil. I will not let her harm innocent people or anyone we love again.'' Damien shrugged watching Lori struggle against his more skilled mother.

"Well she is a big itch that changes hands.' Joker smirked a little as his use of the new phrase he had just thought up.

"But this isn't the way to do that, Damien! If you just kill everyone you don't like, more people will come to take their place, and more and more until you have to kill everyone just to stay alive. If you're trying to destroy all the evil people, then you will eventually have to destroy yourself. You can't just murder people without becoming evil, Damien. After all this time, I really thought you had learned better than that..."

Gemini glanced up briefly. "What in the world...no, never mind. I'm not going to ask."

"Well I am my mother's son so it was bound to happen." Damien flinched when his mother sent Lori flying. "And even if I have to keep killing them its better then us being killed."

Joker chuckled and relaxed against the couch. "Sleep and think about it."

"Are you only your mother's son, Damien? I really thought that I meant more to you than that. I have been so proud of you, over the years...now all I feel is disappointed." Bruce shook his head and turned away, just in time to see Lori being thrown like a rag doll. He ran to see if she was okay. "That's enough! This mindless violence has gone on too long. Talia, I want you to take your son and leave Gotham. Leave, and don't come back, either of you." It was clear from his voice how much that statement hurt him. "I am sick of constantly waiting for you to make a move, sick of worrying about everyone just because you have no sense of honor or self-control. Just go away!"

Gemini nodded, already falling asleep. Lucifer came over and sat at her feet, watching her protectively as she slumped over, totally asleep.

Lori shook her head to clear it wiping her mouth off. Talia laughed and looked briefly at Damien who would not look at either of them "oh but even if I leave I'll still kill the bad guys because my son wants you and Lori to have a happy slightly crime free life." She chuckled. "The boy really did pick up your niceness but me I will not stop here there are other cities." Lori stood carefully and growled "I can stop you here." She attacked her again.
