"Hey!" Joker pouted. "I didn't mean to all this father business made me tired."


Lori stretched and yawned smiling as Martha fell silent. She whined at him emitting a oder of the diaper kind.

Gemini giggled ant took April. "There's going to be a lot of tired in these first few years. Don't worry, you'll get used to it." She said, turning around to feed April, since she was awake.

Bruce wrinkled his nose. "Wow, someone's got a full load. Let's get you changed up." He said, laying Marthat on the changing table. He proceeded to change her diaper.

Martha looked around for a bit then settled her gaze at him and babbled in baby.

Joker chuckled. "If it's anything like stake out tired I should be good."

Bruce smiled, listening to the baby talk. Once he finished changing her, he picked Martha up. "There, all clean. Are you hungry, my princess?" He asked.

Gemini shrugged. "I don't really know where that falls on the tired scale. All I know is that babysitting Lori's daughter gave me a good idea of what having children is like." She said, burping April as Cal woke up fussing. "Could you change April's diaper while I feed Calcifer?"

Martha cooed and snuggled against him as he asked if she was hungry she started crying again.

"Deal." Joker took April. "Come here stinky one." He chuckled and started to change her.

Bruce nodded. "I'm going to call that a yes. Lori, I believe this is a job for her mommy." He said, passing the fussing baby to her mother.

Gemini handed over April, who was pouting and looked uncomfortable, and took Calcifer. Cal made unhappy whining sounds until Gemini brought him close to feed him.

Joker stood back to admire his diapering job. "Not bad for a first time huh little one." He grinned at her as he gentle picked her up.

Lori blushed a little as she feed Martha. After burping her Lori settled her in her arms. "It's nice not having to do all this myself." She smiled at him. "Thank you Mister Wayne." She kissed him gentle.

April blinked and giggled cutely, sticking her fist in her mouth. Meanwhile, Gemini was burping Calcifer. He let out a surprisingly loud burp, then giggled. "Goodness, what a big sound from such a little guy!"

"I'm glad to be a part of it this time." Bruce said, kissing her back. "Thank you, Mrs. Wayne." He added with a smile.

"Of course...this time I have no reason to hide." Lori smiled then blinked as Martha whined. "Sorry little one." She kissed her forhead. Martha grinned and giggled reaching up at Bruce. "Daddies girl." Lori laughed.

Joker blinked at the sound and chuckled. "Yes it was...oh yes!" He pulled out to binkies a green one and a blood red one. "Here you go pick one." He held them out to April.

Bruce laughed and reached out to take Martha. "I'm fine with that. So, I wanted to tell you about what happened after I talked to Damian last night." He said to Lori.

April seemed to actually consider the choice. She even gurgled at Cal a few times, who gurgled back. Finally, she reached forward and chose the green one. "Is it just me, or did they just consult with each other?"

"Well they are twins." Joker gave her the green one then handed the red one to Gemini. "Babies have a way of understanding people."

Lori smiled as Martha took his finger in her first cooing. "What happened?" She asked curious.

Gemini took the red binky and gave it to Cal, who sucked on it happily. "This is true. I remember babysitting Helena, she used to look at me like she knew every secret I had. It was creepy, but cool. I wonder if these two will have that weird twin psychic connection." She said.

Bruce smiled down at Martha, letting her do whatever with his finger. "Well first of all, he was more than happy to accept. We talked for a bit, and..." He started telling Lori all about what had happened, all the way up until Damian had dragged Helena off. "They should be back by now. I wonder how it went." He didn't mention that it was nice to have a full night's sleep for once.

"Who knows it would be cool if they did though." Joker grinned.

Lori laughed. "There really starting to get alone. Good." She chuckled Martha sucked Bruce's finger looking pleased with herself.

Gemini smirked a little. "True. I'm sure they could cause a lot of mischief that way. It could also be a pain for us, but you take the good with the bad." She said.

Bruce nodded. "I'm glad, too. Something I always wanted for Damian was someone close to his age to relate to. A sibling is perfect for that, but I couldn't give him one. And now all at once, you came along and gave us both a whole family. You know...you literally gave me everything I ever wanted. I'll be forever grateful for that." He said.

Lori blushed a little. "Do you have a romantic speech ready for everything?" she teased kissing his cheek. "You know I would have given you all this earlier if you weren't so stubborn...and hadn't decided to let Talia have her way with you." she pouted a little.

"I'll take the bad you can have the good." Joker chuckled kissing April's head. "I hope one at least is evil doesn't matter to me which one."

"Possibly." Bruce said with a chuckle. His smile vanished a moment later. "I never let that woman do anything. She drugged me. I never would have let her come near me otherwise." He said bitterly.

Gemini rolled her eyes. "And what if they both refuse to take sides? Will you stop loving them?" She asked, a slight begging tone in her voice. She couldn't stand the thought of her babies losing their father's affection.

"If they don't choose sides...I'll still love them I'm mean even if there good I'll still love them. I'll be disappointed but they'll be loved." Joker smiled.

"Sure like I never saw the way you use to look at her." Lori snorted. "You spent a month with her after the drugs wore off so." She shrugged.

Gemini beamed. Even though they were each holding a baby, she managed to give him a crushing one-armed hug. "I'm so happy to hear that."

Bruce just sighed. "I'm not going to argue about this, Lori. We've been over it before, and I'm tired of it. One mistake shouldn't condemn me for life- God knows I have plenty of mistakes doing that already. Can't you just accept that it happened, I'm ashamed of it, and it never happened again? It's not like we can change the past." He said, finally getting irritated about that particular subject.

"No I will not let you forget anything else feel free." Lori smirked a little. "Next time argue with you had sex with me first." She was teasing him but he could tell by her posture that she was still upset. "You really do love me right?" She lost her smirk and gazed at Martha who had fallen asleep in his arms.

Joker grunted and chuckled. "I'm glad. I want to be a better father then mine was that's for sure."

Bruce's head snapped up. "Of course I do!" He said, only just managing to keep his voice down so he wouldn't wake Martha. "Lorinda, you know me better than almost anyone. Do you really think I would have married you if I didn't love you? I love you more than life itself. I loved you enough to give up Batman, even before we were married. Doesn't that tell you something?"

Gemini backed up a little and looked at him. "Actually, that brings up something I've been meaning to ask. You make obscure references to your past like that pretty often, and I never know how to respond. Should I just ignore it, or do you want me to ask about it or what?" She asked. The last thing she wanted was to get into a fight because she inadvertently upset him.

"YOu can ask...I may not give you the truth but I'll try." Joker shrugged. "Or you can ignore it."

Lori took Martha and placed her in her crib then hugged Bruce clinging to his shirt. "I know I just get so jealous of those girls you've dated and of Talia. Maybe it's shallow of me." she sighed. "But I want you to be my only and you weren't that for so long I had started to give up hope."

"Okay. I just wanted to make sure." Gemini said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"But you've got me now. And you'll have me forever." Bruce said, hugging her back tightly. "That's a promise."

Joker blushed a little but smiled. "To bad they'll never know there grandparents though."

Lori gave him a smile. "Yeah for what's left of are old life." she huffed a little then kissed him. "At least I have you for a while."

Gemini snorted. "It's better that way, at least on my side. I would never want my parents anywhere near my babies...good thing my parents are dead." She said.

"Nonsense, we'll both be around for a good long time. You'll be sick of me by the time we go." Bruce said, kissing her back.

Joker just shrugged again. "Parents are interesting that's for sure. We'll be better then them."

Lori pulled away when Martha made a fuss sound but when she didn't wake she sighed in relief. "By the time she's old enough to sleep threw the night you'll regret this." She was smirking evilly.
