Gemini nodded. "That's something we can agree on, at least. It's something I've spent most of my life trying to accomplish." She said, looking down at the babies. "I promise you, Cal, April, that I'll be the best mother you could ever ask for." She told them. They both looked at her quizzically, not understanding yet.

"Regret what?" Bruce asked innocently. "I haven't done anything."

"With Lori to beat me if I do anything you don't like I'll never get anything wrong she might kill me." Joker smirked a little even as a father he was still the same guy.

Lori gave him a withering look. "You'll see, you'll see."

((time skip to say one year later when they can go out and about a little more often?))

((That works. Have at it.))

Lori was lying face down on the bed half asleep. "Are you tired yet?" she looked a mess her hair disheveled and her cloths crumbled half way in she had stopped caring what she looked like not that Bruce looked any better a baby took up all your time.

Joker was on the floor holding a flower in his hands. "I died." he groaned sporting a half unshaven face.

Laying next to her, Bruce grunted. "I've been tired for the last eight months." He said, looking just as disheveled as Lori. He was intensely glad that he didn't have to deal with Batman stuff anymore- that would kill him.

Gemini was standing nearby, feeding the twins. They were each in a high-chair, and she was feeding them baby food. She was also covered in it. "Well, un-die please, because these two are going to need a bath after this."

"Well since you said please." Joker rose groaning. "Never again two is enough." He hugged her from behind.

Lori placed her head on his chest. "You look odd with out your usual shaven face." She traced a finger over his stubble. Lena had taken Martha for the day to sister bond.

Gemini nodded. "I'm pretty sure we already agreed to that. However, I'll sign a contract in blood just to make sure, if I have to." She said. Calcifer giggled, and April made a few sounds. They were both just on the verge of talking, and had been crawling for a while.

"I would shave, but I think my arms would fall off if I tried." Bruce replied, stroking her hair with one hand. "It's nice to have a break...although it's kind of strange having it quiet around here. But, at least we only have one to deal with." He said. He couldn't imagine dealing with twins, and was pretty sure Gemini was probably dead by now.

Lori chuckled. "I told you. Don't listen to Lori." She blushed a little. "You know Helena's got the baby for the rest of the day...we can do whatever we want."

"No blood oaths needed I just have to find the time to go to the vets." Joker smirked a little. "That ought to be interesting." He didn't want to say the word for it in case the twins felt like making it there first word.

"Hmm...sounds good to me. But what ever shall we do?" Bruce asked sarcastically.

Gemini nodded. "I would pay to see the face of the person who has to do that operation." She said, chuckling.

"I have something in mind.'' Lori grinned and trailed a hand over his shirt playing with the buttons of his shirt.

Joker chuckled a little. "I'll go as Darien but I may still scare the person." he smirked.

((Skipping Bruce and Lori.))

"You'd do it on purpose, too." Gemini said. Calcifer and April both giggled.

"You know me so well." Joker laughed. "Evil makes them giggle." He kissed the twins foreheads.

Joker took Cal. "Come on you be a big boy and have your bath." he smiled at him. "Do it for daddy."

Joker was grinning from ear to ear. "Well done you two!" He kissed each of there foreheads then dumped Cal in the bath while he was distracted.

Joker was wet by the end. "You really think Lori will show up?"

Joker snorted and dried April up. "Are you going to tell her?" he smirked a little. "Or will she know just because she can read minds?"

"Hurray...you think Bruce will ever not give me a death glare?" Joker seemed happy that he did glare. "There my pretty princess."

"I heard the twins had talked." Lori appeared Martha in hand leaving a confused Helena and Bruce in her wake. "What did they say?"

"It's like magic." Joker laughed when Lori appeared out of no where.
