I heard about this site via a B/C shop I frequent and work at on Gaiaonline. I have been working on reading the site and forum/posting rules and will soon be exploring the rest of the site, but so far, I like it a lot. I am sure the Breedable/Changing Pets area will become my new home here once I get through exploring.

I'm intrigued by that too, it's a cool name. It would be awesome if some new life got injected into the b/c sub forum, you can tell from the last post dates in there that the interest in them on here has waned as the years have gone by, or the artists who draw them aren't active on here. Or both. :(

My name? It's the same one I use on the other site I came from. lol I have an anthro Pikachu character named Sparky, so just kinda made my username from that. Yeah, I did notice that the B/C section of the site seemed neglected/deadish. I do hope things pick up there. And thank you all for the warm welcomes. I do like it here so far.

Oh, I didn't think breedables worked like that. The ones people generally have threads for on forums anyway, I don't think. You mean Dragon Cave types things and so on, right? But art breedables evolve when the artist has drawn the next stage, as far as I know there's no clicking involved, because that would need technical stuff.

Things like Dragon Cave and Pokefarm I just call clickies, myself, since they require clicks/views to grow. Breedable/Changing pets are more like, as jellysundae said, art that someone draws. They typically have a set time in which they will grow to the next stage. *nod* Just really requires ability to use templates, edit, color, and certing the pet.

Thanks. I didn't color him, I just certed him. That just means that I shrunk him down to fit on the cert and put his information on it. That's what I do at the shop. It makes things easier on the staff. I also keep track of when things are due to grow from breedings and the like. That leaves the staff free to just do coloring/editing/etc. lol He's from the shop that is moving from Gaia to here, actually. I believe the thread is being worked on being set up right now, even. I am trying to get a journal set up in the B/C Roleplay area since the rules say pet journals can go there. I'm having a bit of trouble getting it to actually put things into separate posts, however. It is... Irksome. It just keeps adding my new posts to the very first/opening post so far and messing up my listing. Guess I'll go edit it a bit and see if I can fix that.

At the bottom of a new post you can choose to "Overide Double Post"
give that a shot! :3
