"You like a demon?" Bell blinked having read enough of other religions to understand that much. "I don't think a marriage between us would work."

"I never said I liked the demon. Luciferinism views lucifer as a morning star, akin to enlightenment and independence, not pride of demonic vanity. There's more than one way to view things. Anyway, I never said I worshipped him. A philopshey basically is a set of guidelines laid out to lead us towards a better life."he said

"But Lucifer is a devil as far as I can remember how can you think of him in any nice way?" Bell frowned. "Of course to each his own." Her smile didn't reach her eyes this time they were to clouded with worry."

"Because there are different ways to interpret things. It's good to look at things from a different perspective."he said

"Not all the times." Bell smiled.

Bell fell silent as the service began. She felt better after pray to there God and Goddess leaving him behind to find Erik.

Joseph prayed to their god and goddess. He felt it right to respect their beliefs, even if he didn't share them. They had shown religious tolerance of his beliefs, and he would offer the same respect.

Bell spent the rest of the day with Erik satisfied that he said he was of the same religion as her. She then sat in the garden sitting on the grass deep in thought.

Joseph looked at the Pendant around his neck. Finx probably didn't remember it, but he was given the pendant by her, as a sort of 'Lucky charm'. His memory returning, he rubbed the pendant lightly. Thinking, he had a Maid bring it to finx, with a note 'I think it's time that this pretty thing returned to it's beautiful owner. May the luck it has given me, be given to you.'

Bell blinked at the pendant frowning a little trying to remember when she had seen it last. She couldn't though so she shook her head with a sigh. This made things more complicated if she had know one of the prince's before but she still felt like she liked Erik a little more.

Joseph knelt before a make-shift altar to the God Etherus, the god of love, and prayed that she would choose him. He'd gotten interest from many woman from his home-village, this was sure, but he never felt this way about a woman before. He wanted to be with finx, no matter what.

A maid retrieved him. "The princess is ready to make her choice my lord."

"Thank you, Ma'am. "He said. He prayed he was picked, but he would hold no hard feelings towards Erik should he be picked. He did have what Joseph lacked: Power, wealth, status.

Bell sat with Erik when Joe entered she gestured for him to sit. "Please sit my lord." She smiled half heartedly at him. "I have made my decision threw careful thought and upon talking with each of you I find Erik to be my better match." Erik blinked then smiled. "I will not disappoint you princess." He kissed her hand.

Joseph did his best to keep his voice on level. "I understand....thank you. "He said, walking out. He went into the garden, and it was all he could do, to keep from screaming

Bell took a deep breath then turned to Erik and began to talk with him smiling. He eventually left and found Joe "Rotten luck that." he smirked

"Yes. Quite. "he said, rubbing his temples. He was trying to maintain a calm demeanor, as to not disrespect anyone here.

He's nice, he has an actual crown, his religion is more my style he will be able to understand me better that way. You can have a place on my council if you wish."

At this point, Joseph stood up. "I will not allow the family that lead mine to slaughter continue to rule. Erik's a good man, and I have nothing against him, but I won't stand by as a usurper rules what is rightfully mine. "He said. The whole point of him coming to this kingdom was to get aid to take back his home.

"Then wait till after our marriage and we will dethrone Erik's father and he will be crowned king and I his queen." Bell frowned a little at him. "If not then we are at war and I will still become Queen with my husband.

Joseph turned to leave. "I cannot believe this....I aid your people, and all I ask is help in taking back my home, and this is what I am given? I will not stand for it!"he said. "I would rather die a free man, fighting for wha I believe in, than live my life as a puppet to a false king. "He said. "I did not want to do this Lori, but you have left me no other choice.
