Coffee!

Hello! This topic is something very serious to my heart.
Coffee is like my life force. If it didn't exist, I probably wouldn't. Like, no flippin joke. I need that stuff in order to LIVE!
Anyways, I am curious to see how many of you lovelies drink it. I drink it as dark as I can, straight with nothing in it. I can drink up to 3 cups before I turn into a raging toddler high on sugar.
What about you? Do you drink this lovely holy beverage? How do you take your coffee?

SuperZombiePotatoe 10-01-2014 02:58 PM

I adore coffee! I have a cup a day, at breakfast usually, but sometimes I'll have one in the afternoon. I used to take it with milk and sugar, but now I've completely cut out the milk and a replaced the sugar with honey. It was just an experiment, but I've come to like it. So yeah... Coffe lovers unite! [illgetu]

Maha-Aamir 10-01-2014 03:27 PM

Yup I am one of the coffee lovers too... I have mine thats mixed in with a herb and though i have it with honey too, sometimes I use milk and sugar when it rains [:D]
I also believe that my survival depends upon Coffee hehehehe

Is this a trick question? Isn't coffee essential to life? At least that's how I've always viewed it. I drink it all day long, if there isn't coffee in my pot at the house, it's because I just drained it. I prefer a bit of cream and a bit of sugar, though if I have to I can take it black, but that upsets my stomach if I drink it that way too much.

I like my coffee sweet. So sweet. People joke that I just like my cream and sugar with a dash of coffee. [drool]

By the way, do you always have donuts with your coffee, Mr. Vash?

You mean coffee isn't food? Oh! That explains so much!

I also like coffee! but drowned in sugar........ XD does that disqualify me

zigbigadorlube 10-01-2014 08:53 PM

Coffee gives me a stomach ache. I think I honestly might have an intolerance for too much caffeine. I'm going to try to go with decaf next time I get something from Starbucks and see if that helps...

Cherry Who? 10-02-2014 06:40 AM

I need caffeine to function. But I have not yet acquired a taste for actual coffee. Blech. I generally drink cappuccinos whenever they're available, but I've started making my own coffee at home lately. I make folgers chocolate silk coffee with lots of creamer, sugar, and milk. I still prefer the cappuccinos, though.

I drink coffee maybe like once a month. It's definitely not part of my routine.

Darkcarnie 10-02-2014 07:10 AM

I tried some maple bacon flavored coffee a few weeks ago. Not a very good idea. Think I'll stick to Folgers from now on o_o

lingzhi black coffee is the best... helps in keeping diet proper and has no caffeine [:)]

How can you drink coffee that has no caffeine!? That's gotta be like illegal.

Jk. I've never actually heard of that stuff. Where do you get it?

This. xD

I drink mostly lattes because I'm not too fond of straight black, usually its too bitter - way too much of a sweet tooth here. :p

Maha-Aamir 10-02-2014 04:25 PM

I get it from a herbalist... you should google it though, it has many benefits and all of them true [:D]
Illegal... hehehe it doesn't need the caffeine because the mushroom extract in it is stronger than that. I actually feel much active drinking this than normal coffee...

Ah I get it. I love sweet things too. Which is why I think my fascination with the bitter black coffee is so weird, because if someone offers me anything, I get something super sweet (like donuts) and coffee. Maybe its the balance of sweet and bitter...

aw yiss.

Best stuff for coffee, if you can find it: the Dunkin' Donuts brand creamer, namely the "Extra Extra" variety. It's basically double cream, double sugar, so all you need is that. Nothing more. And it's PERFECT.

And it's also really good in iced tea, too. Just saying.

Never heard of that creamer, I will have to try it sometime! I am very particular about my creamers, haven't really found any one I liked too well yet.

Check your local grocery store's dairy section, they might carry it.

Yeah probably. thanks for telling me about it!

Melody 10-03-2014 10:37 PM

My husband if a coffee purist. I on the other hand... use the coffee to warm up my creamer. I like my coffee sweet and blonde!

I can't drink it when I get up in the morning or I get really shaky. Caffeine and I don't get along too well. But if I have some breakfast I can handle a cup. But no more than that. >.> Coffee is not my life force. lol

Wonderlands 10-04-2014 11:15 AM

Ive had coffee about 5 times in my life. It's okay but Im not going to choose it over other beverages. I can't do hot drinks that often and if I do, it's hot chocolate.

I do not understand what creamer is at all. I didn't know it was a thing until this site actually, haha. Like Ive never seen it being sold here.

zigbigadorlube 10-04-2014 02:16 PM

@ Wonderlands: Where are you from?! There are sooooo many flavors and brands of creamer here it's ridiculous!

Alexander J Luthor 10-04-2014 06:45 PM

I can't wait until payday. I'm getting some Starbucks. Most of it might be watered crap, but the frapps are definitely worth it.
