I tried that a few times - I gave up. It was too hard for me. Plus my oldest loves to try to take my phone as she likes to dance and listen to music on it. [lol]

I would consider that a good thing! So often, I see parents out with their kids, and the parents are engrossed in their phones and mobile devices. The poor kids try to get their parents' attention and fail miserably. |
There are times that I have my phone out when I'm with my daughters, but most of the time they have my attention for sure.
I feel so sorry for those kids who I see at the stores when I'm out with the girls - who have parents who don't pay attention to them and think that their phones are more important than giving their children attention. One of Becca's favorite songs that she enjoys is We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together by Taylor Swift, and Whenever she wants to listen to it, she goes "mumma, never ever back together, phone?" [lol] |

Yeah - it seems like it's a lot of the younger parents who have that issue with their attachment to their phones. At least that's what it seems like to me. [yes]

I can see that being confusing as well.
Nope, it doesn't seem like he is. He's not not any worse, but not any better either. Child-man. [feesh] I have my hands full enough with my girls (3 1/2 and 7 months), now to add in a sick hubs in there as well. |

It's a flu bug that's got him trapped at the moment. [:(] Although it's all the flu symptoms, minus the throwing up (thankfully). But still not fun. So I mean it's understandable he's not feeling good - he's just driving me up a wall with his moaning and complaining despite me doing all I can to try to make him feel as comfortable as he can despite everything.

I would hope that he is thankful for what you do. I am sure that after the illness passes, he will be able to show you the appreciation he means to show now between the suffering. ^_^;

Only reason I'm able to get on now is that my oldest is watching a movie and curled up on the couch next to me, our youngest and the hubs are both asleep, so I'm on here. But I'm ready to run off as soon as someone needs me, just don't know when that'll be. And I probably should think about dinner... I may just heat up some left over chicken noodle soup for the girls and Alex, and figure out something for myself when I get hungry. |
Yum, chicken noodle soup is very good. I guess you could also eat it for dinner if you wanted :)
