"If he already has soccer, I wouldn't want to take up all his time." She said to Riley, before directing what she said to Fiyero. "If you want to join, You can come whenever you feel like it. You could come once just to see. Signing it won't bind you to it, but it would help me." She wanted to remove any worry that Fiyero may have about it, knowing people can't always show up. "Besides, I'm sure when people realize how rough Kendo can actual be, they may quit." She couldn't help but laugh as the memory of some people back in the city who joined Kendo just to play with the swords, realized the work that goes into learning Kendo. Kira and Ayane both grabbed their things, quickly ready to go.

Fiyero thought to himself as he bit his bottom lip, grabbing his stuff out of his locker.
"It's okay if you don't want to," Riley said, "I don't want to force you or anything, I just meant I thought it'd be good for ya."
Fiyero looked from his brother to the girls as he shut his locker.
"Would it be okay if I just went once a week?" Fiyero asked, "To start out I mean. We only have soccer twice a week and that's only when it's not raining."

"You could come once a month if you desire." Kira smiled, "I won't force you to come. I know many that did it when they had free time. I wasn't perfect myself. There were days that I didn't go, but those days I tried to make it up to myself by doing a little practice at home." Kira looked down and thought for a moment. "I wonder if my Uncle would be okay with me practicing at home on my free time. He use to come to my competitions when I was a little kid."

Fiyero thought for a moment before speaking up, "I'll join then."
"That's great!" Riley smiled as he turned his attention to Kira, "if you guys have the space for it I don't see why he would have a problem with it."

"That is very true. And now I just need six more signatures." Kira laughed as they made their way to the main gate. She looked around at all the students talking, laughing and leaving to head home or other activities. "It's such a beautiful day. I'm looking forward to hanging out with you three. Kind of bummed we didn't get the chance yesterday."

"Well we can make up for that today!" Riley said with a grin.
"Yea, and we should celebrate that you have almost half your signatures on the first day!" Fiyero added.
"That's a great idea!" Riley said, looking to Ayane and Fiyero, "Which would be better to start with, Souzai Daigaku or Aiya's?"
"Aiya's going to be a lot of food, don't you think?" Fiyero asked, "I think I vote Souzai Daigaku, but I'm fine with whichever."

"I'll be able to try both, so let's do Souzai Daigaku today if the other is more food."

"You'll like both when you try them. They are great places to eat. Aiya's does have the rainy day challenge however." Ayane thought as she got a look from Kira.

"Rainy Day Challenge?"

"Oh yea! It's great!" Fiyero beamed, "It's a giant beef bowl that's like a never ending bowl of meaty goodness!"
Riley laughed as he explained, "It's a giant bowl of food that you get for free if you can finish the whole thing. If not, then you have to pay for it. It is really good though."
"Riley, you're totally underselling it!" Fiyero pouted.
"You just say that cause you like the meat so much." Riley said, playfully pushing him.
"Well duh! That's the best part!" Fiyero said, looking up with starry eyes, "I will finish the whole thing some day!"

"Sounds like a challenge I'd like to take sometime." Kira smirked, which drew a surprised reaction from Ayane.

"You want to try that? That doesn't seem like something you'd be interested in, or even would consider trying."

"Just cause I'm a girl, doesn't mean I won't try things like that. Besides, even if it's a ton of calories I burn it off with my training about as quickly as I gain it."

"We should try that tomorrow then!" Fiyero said eagerly as he grinned, "Are you going to try it too Riley?"
"No way!" Riley chuckled, "By the time I get through half of it my stomach starts hurting."
"Aww, come on!" Fiyero made a pouting face to his brother, "Pleeeeaaase?"
Riley gave the boy a surprised looked before sighing, "Okay okay, no more puppy eyes."
Fiyero grinned as Riley messed his hair up, pushing the boys auburn hair into his eyes.
"What about you Ayane?" Riley asked, smiling at the white haired girl, "Do you wanna give it a try too?"

Ayane thought for a moment, "I don't think I'll try. I tried the last time it rained. Didn't get very far. I'll go to cheer you three on however." Ayane smiled.

Kira laughed at that. "I guess cheering could work."

"I think it will!" Riley said with a smile as the teens came up to the bus stop across from a gas station.
"Oh wow! We're here already!" Fiyero looked around in surprise.
"Yea," Riley said as he looked around, "Let see, I guess we'll start with the bus stop here. It can take you all over and if you ever wanna look for part time work it can take you to the hospital or the day care center. Then over there next to the gas station is Yomenaido Bookstore."
"They've got some really good books there!" Fiyero added with a smile, "Even if I mainly get comics there, they have some great novels too."
Riley nodded as he continued, "Then we have Daidara Metalworks, where Ayane works, and Marukyu Tofu."
"And the Shiroku Store doubles as a pub at night!" Fiyero added excitedly, "I found that one out when I applied to wash dishes there. It's normally a pharmacy, but the owner turns it into a bar at night! How crazy is that?"

Kira gave a quick glance to the gas station. Something hit her inside that made her want to shutter, but she fought it."It's probably good business for her to do that." Kira laughed, "I've seen some crazy things but that tops it so far. I will definitely have to stop at the Bookstore however, I'm curious as to what the selection is here compared to back home."

"The owner of the Shiroku Store is nice, I'm sure you'll like her if you talk to her." Ayane smiled, "As for my Uncle, We should head in and say hello. He hasn't seen you two around in a while..." She said to Fiyero and Riley. "... and I'm sure he'd like to say hello to a new friend of mine. It's because of these two jerks that I was able to open up out of my shell." Ayane had a sly smirk on her face.

Unaware of her feeling about the gas station, the boys continued their happy chatter.
"I think you'd really like the books there." Riley said with a smile.
"It hasn't been that long since we've seen your uncle, has it?" Fiyero asked, turning his attention to Ayane.
"Actually, I think it has." Riley said before giving the white haired girl a playful pouting look, "Since when did we become jerks?"
"Since you literally started dragging me out of bed." Fiyero said teasingly.
"Psh! You'd be late every day if I didn't do that!" Riley laughed as he ruffled the other boys hair.

"Yeah, I remember hearing that commotion the first time I came back to walk with you two to school... I must admit it was hilarious." Ayane said with a laugh as she stopped the group before the Metalworks. The sounds of metal clinging could be heard echoing loudly. "Would you like to stop in? He looks mean, but my Uncle is the nicest guy you'll ever meet."

"I'm sure he is... If these two are okay with it, then I sure am." Kira smiled.

"I'm just a living alarm clock." Riley grinned with a chuckle.

"Yea, we'd be fine with that," Fiyero said, turning to the taller boy, "Right Riley?"
"Yea sure." Riley nodded, "Especially if it's been that long without us noticing it."
With a smile, Riley stepped up to the door and opened it for everyone.

As soon as the chime from the door went off, the hammering stopped. As they all entered, Daidara walked out wiping his head from the sweat. "Hello, Welcome to Daidara Metalworks..." He started his normal customer greeting before noticing who walked in. "Riley, Fiyero. It's good to see you two boys again." He smiled, giving a laugh. "You need to come by more often, Ayane won't stop talking about your exploits together."

"Uncle~" Ayane let out, with a sigh.

"Oh, Greetings Young Lady, I don't believe we have met." He said as he noticed Kira. "I'm Daidara; Ayane's Uncle."

"Hello, I am Kira Narukami." She said made sure to make her greeting as polite as possible, not sure how he was in this regard yet.

"Hey now, No need to get formal around here. If you are a friend of my niece is welcome here like family." He said with a big grin.

"That's my uncle for ya." Ayane said with a soft laugh.

"Hey Daidara!" Both boys said in unison before laughing at one another.
"Exploits huh?" Fiyero snickered.
"I think it's more interesting she talks about us so much." Riley said as he gave Ayane a playful nudge.

The boys glanced at one another more a moment, not used to hearing people speak so formally to the tall man.
"Yea," Fiyero added with a smile, "Just think of him as another uncle."
"That's what we do anyways." Riley chuckled.

Kira rubbed the back of her neck, "Alright, I understand." She smiled, "They were showing me around and Ayane suggested we stop in and say hello."

Daidara laughed, "I'm glad she did." He noticed her bag. "Don't see many people carrying that around. The School doesn't have Kendo club, as much as I heard Ayane want." He smirked.

Ayane sighed, "I'm actually signing Kira's sheet to start one."

"Really?! That's great, I hope there is enough demand for it." He grinned, "I can fashion the swords for the club. I may run a metal-works, but I can get inspiration to make anything. Even practice swords."

"That sounds great!" Kira smiled, "I can come back if the teacher approves of it and let you know how many students are attending."

"I like the idea. And since Ayane is a member, I'll do it for free. I normally charge a reasonable price for my services, but to see my niece happy I think I can handle the work." He grinned.

Ayane smiled happily at that.

"That'd be great!" Riley said with a grin, "Kira's already got five members if you count all of us and Chihiro."
"Yea," Fiyero chipped in, "That's already half a club! We just need five more people and we can start!"
Fiyero suddenly stopped and turned his attention to Riley, "Is Aunt Milly going to be okay with us joining?"
"I don't see why she wouldn't be." Riley shrugged, "It's not like we're gonna be trying to kill each other with the practice swords."
Fiyero thought for a moment before turning his attention to Kira, "On a scale of one to ten, how much does it hurt when you get hit with the practice swords?"

"Well, I'll be doing some jobs to get the gear made. With that it doesn't hurt much, More like a 3 if you get hit with full strength on a bad day. Truthfully, You could easily kill someone with one if you strike hard enough. But that's not the point of Kendo, It's a discipline... similar to Martial Arts. If you take it like it is, and do not abuse it... It's probably an 8 without protective gear. But you do not go against someone without the protective gear."

Daidara got a grin on his face. "I'll discount the armor for you. I don't want to break your bank. I can loan you the swords and protective gear, and you can pay slowly. I won't force it from you right away, especially if you get this Club started quickly. It's not exactly cheap, but I can do it for you."

Ayane sighed and said quietly so only Fiyero and Riley could hear. "He's probably doing it because of me. He wouldn't be this lenient otherwise."

"Th-that bad huh?" Fiyero muttered to himself as Riley slung his arm around him.
"You'll be fine dude! Like she said, we're not gonna be doing all this without the gear." Riley patted Fiyero's shoulder as he grinned.
Both boys stopped when they heard the older mans words. The boys looked from Daidara to Ayane before exchanging glances with one another.
"Are you sure about that Daidara?" Riley asked.
"Yea, I mean, we have some money saved up between the two of us." Fiyero added, glancing to Riley before he looked at the man again, "It's not going to cover all of it, but it'll pay for a good chunk of it."

Daidara gave a big grin, "Of course I'm sure. I think this is going to be good for the students that join. We all know many need to learn discipline around here." He gave a quick look to Ayane.

Ayane wasn't sure what to make of that. "What?!"

"Nothing... Nothing at all." Daidara smirked

Kira couldn't help but laugh at this. "It's true, It does help a lot if people are willing to put the time and energy into it. I've seen many drop out because of their misconceptions about what it takes. I worked hard to get to where I am at today. My parents were fully behind the idea of letting me do this as it gave me an outlet for my negative feelings. It was hard to live with parents that always traveled for work."
