I'm not as big of a halloween nut as I once was. :P This halloween is going to be very strange, too. My boyfriend's sister is giving birth and this baby is going to be a problem child.

HMM. That's interesting to know! As far as I can tell, those sort don't bother me (as much?). At least, when I worked at TCBY, I never got any symptoms when we'd clear out stuff that'd got mold on it. (We were a very clean shop, mind. But shortcakes didn't sell very well, so we'd cut a whole tray of them because it was all or nothing and we wouldn't always sell them before things happened. It was very rare that we'd find out they'd molded when a customer actually wanted one. Usually it was because we were doing the fridge cleaning.) (DEFENSIVE. xD)

My first favorite is Valentine's Day. Haha. Not my favorite in the real world since I seem to be one of those forever alone type people at that time of year (other than this year, but that ended poorly anyway)... but I love it on Mene.

Awww. Halloween is just so magical! And it's an excuse to dress up! Costumes are my favorite part. Haha.

Yeah - that does seem to usually be one of our bigger events. xD Valentine's and Halloween are usually our A-game. I think it's because it's so much fun to design for. xD After that, I'd guess I'd say Celes Paradi and Phoenix Jubilee? Though Winter Nights is usually high up there too. :'


Same here. xD I'd probably like any of the other holidays as much/more if there were costumes involved. :B Kinda sad that Mardi Gras isn't celebrated in my area. Or any sort of carnivale at all.

@CK I never ran into mold at Dunkin Donuts except for one time, when cheese was left out for a couple days. Then again, we had dates when we would move everything so it was rare that anything stuck around long enough to mold. The problem is that if mold was found in the store, everything not in the fridge/freezer had to be assumed contaminated and thrown out, so we ran out of stuff really fast that day.

@AliciaNwonderland I agree completely! Until I joined Mene, I had given up on avatar sites thanks to Gaia. It's nice to see they don't all suck as much as them. :P

My boyfriend really likes halloween, so we're opposites in that regard.

A friend from another avatar based site suggested mene to me a few weeks ago liquid, and I've been in love ever since lol... The other site is frustrating and they don't show a lot of appreciation for members :(

Yeah, I think a big part of it is the commons and EIs released during those two events are usually my favorite! Though Celes Paradi has some drool worthy things, too. And Winter Nights is usually on point. I just love Mene events in general! Haha.
