Young ones are usually pretty hyperactive. My friend's cat would run around almost non-stop.

xuvrette 11-02-2014 12:42 PM

and Antata keep posting while I am eating! T__T

Enama 11-02-2014 12:44 PM

oh yeah, Juno is like that still, since she's not even a year old yet.

Antagonist 11-02-2014 12:44 PM

I'm mostly reading fanfic and only occasionally checking in to see if there's new posts every ten minutes or so. XD

Yeah, my friend's cat is currently about six months old and is currently in heat, so she's been meowing at all odd hours of the day. [sweat]

Enama 11-02-2014 12:50 PM

both are kittens are fixed so no heat for them.
we haven't decided if we'll get Captain fixed, we probably will.

Antagonist 11-02-2014 12:52 PM

Probably a good idea, especially as a male. o Ao They'll probably get more aggressive, and you've mentioned how he's probably an alpha to begin with.

Enama 11-02-2014 12:53 PM

it's just finding a place that we can afford.
the cats cost almost 200 all together.

xuvrette 11-02-2014 12:54 PM

Alpha male.
XD

I am going to shower after this round of chance.

Antagonist 11-02-2014 12:54 PM

It costs that much to have them fixed?! It was for something like ten dollars back when my mom and I went to adopt my cat. [gonk] Maybe the shelters do it for a much cheaper fee or something...

xuvrette 11-02-2014 12:54 PM

Alpha male.

Enama 11-02-2014 12:55 PM

oh our pup is definitely an alpha.
little jerk head D<

---------- Post added 11-02-2014 at 08:55 AM ----------

Nisty; that's the cheapest we found actually.

Antagonist 11-02-2014 12:56 PM

Wow. I wonder if it's because it's a vet and not at a shelter like ours was. D:

Enama 11-02-2014 12:57 PM

it's a possibility, but the shelters arent really that good around here.

Antagonist 11-02-2014 12:58 PM

I think the shelter we had Zippie done at was pretty okay...didn't seem to have much trouble. :o

Enama 11-02-2014 01:01 PM

well that's good [yes]

Antagonist 11-02-2014 01:04 PM

Yeah. There was barely anything visible when we went to pick her up. :)

Enama 11-02-2014 01:12 PM

well he is going to a clinic today~ should be interesting.
gotta get his shots and an exam.

Antagonist 11-02-2014 01:22 PM

Ooh, hope everything goes well! :)

What kinds of exams?

xuvrette 11-02-2014 01:23 PM

Does the pup need to study for the exam?
XD

Antagonist 11-02-2014 01:26 PM

lol! Probably not. If only we can all do our exams like that, without needing to study. [lol]

Enama 11-02-2014 01:30 PM

just an overall exam/check up, make sure we're doing everything right, make sure he is healthy, and he is going to get weighed, etc.

Antagonist 11-02-2014 01:36 PM

How often do puppies need baths?

Enama 11-02-2014 01:43 PM

we are giving him one about once a week right now because of stupid fleas.
but they really don't have a set, 'your dog needs to bath x amount of times'
depends where they live, like if they live on farm,
they will need more baths than a dog living in the city, etc~

xuvrette 11-02-2014 01:47 PM

O__O they only need one bath a week?

Antagonist 11-02-2014 01:48 PM

I think my brother gives his a bath every two weeks...and everything of his still smells like dog. XD;
