Well, it's confusing all across the US whether in Arizona or not. There are several timezones throughout the US, and when you are dealing with someone in the US in a different timezone than you it can be confusing. Even just driving/flying between states. I live in California and was in Missouri all summer, which is a 2 hour difference, and trying to communicate with people back home was actually really hard with conflicting times.

I've never had too much trouble converting time zones as long as I was used to the time zones I'm working with. xD

I find it a bit annoying, but it does make sense. They exist for a valid reason. It doesn't matter too much if you're only dealing with people in your area and not across the different times.
