Nah, I'm shy too. I was just lucky with my Patreon. My first follower was someone with a following of his own. So when he advertised about it, people joined because he said they should. xD

Having power like that over people must be nice. :P

That said, it's not like it was a huge leap for the ones who did. xD They could support me for as little as a dollar a month and I'm offering free character portraits for the games the dude translates from Japanese to English. (He's one of the translators for the Japanese tabletop games Tenra Bansho Zero and Ryuutama and those are types of character portraits I draw. The more I draw, the more they have to choose from for the games they play/run, so it's an inexpensive way to get art from an artist. And they don't even have to pay to use them.)

I think so. xD But, like I said above, they're portraits anyone can use, even if they don't pay. And it's cheap to support me, so it's not like I'm big-headed to think it's worth paying a buck a month to get early access to one or two portraits. xD

Yes! I've mainly been playing Voltage and Shall We Date? games on my tablet.
I've played some random others in the past, but only got into the otome genre this year.

It is true. xD I like drawing random characters/for other people. But I don't really want to do commissions for a living. (For fun, like on Menewsha, or every once in awhile, like one of the guys who supports me on Patreon does is fine, though.)

^ But that's the other thing good that came from it already. A semi-regular commissioner. xD My artwork will be used to advertise his new tabletop game, "Raise Your Voice" (which is inspired by the games Elite Beat Agents and Jet Set Radio). At some point. It'll be a year soon from when he first contacted me and he's still not at the point of announcing the game. So I don't feel right sharing the art. By the time he's ready, I'll probably hate the picture I did for him. xD Oh well. Such is life.

xD Those games are kinda cute. But since I don't have an iPad/iPhone (my family does, but I have to borrow, so it's not convenient to play), I don't play them. There aren't many that get ported over to Kindle. :'c So I mainly have to stick what I can play on the PC or DS/3DS.

I can recommend a few PC otome, if you like. xD

Naaaah. xD I got paid decently for the piece, but I put waaaay more hours into it than I really got paid for. I never did the math for it, because I didn't want to look and find out I got paid a dollar an hour or less. xD Not his fault, though. I just undercharged myself. xD

I ought to at least love the character designs I did for him, though. xD So I'll content myself with that. :3
