Right now, it's only almost 3pm but I'm already yawning and feeling very sleepy. The heavy rain outside is probably not helping. [lol]

It's almost 3 am here. Not raining, but not much going on in the house, since I'm the only one up, lol. I would probably get sleepy if it were raining too, rain is so relaxing to me.

Oh, yes. Rain is really calming, isn't it? Hence why I'm so sleepy right now. I can't sleep in the office, unfortunately, or my boss will hang me by my shoe strings. [lol] |
Probably within the next hour or so, want to get a few more taters first, so not quite ready to lay down yet, but soon.
I always wanted to get one of those sound machines so I could have various nature sounds whenever I wanted. Then I wouldn't have to wait for it to rain, lol. |
I believe there are websites which plays these nature sounds on an eternal loop, if you don't mind them that way. Not just rain, but things like wind blowing, birds chirping, leaves rustling, and a lot more! Being hot and sweaty while there are sounds of rain might mess with my mind, though. [lol]

I wouldn't mind that at all! Not sure if I could get my headset to stretch that far though. My current computer set up is my laptop on a folding chair, while I sit on the right side of a reclining sofa. At night I pull my side out, and push the chair with my computer to to the side at the end. Strange setup I know, but my room gets way to cold in the fall and winter, despite haven gone over every open crack we can find with sealer. And I wouldn't be able to sleep with the noise of the radio from my dad's room above anyway. So not sure if I could safely play it out load without waking everyone, but it would be awesome for siting and relaxing!

It's fun to set up several youtube tabs with different background noises; rain and a crackling fire is my favorite combo.

That does sound relaxing. [:)] My most favorite rain sound is rain on rocks. Every so often I'm lucky enough to have someone leave the window open when it's raining, and you can hear it hit our rocks that wrap around the front of the house, love that sound. [:)]

I think it might help me sleep if I played some white noise, but I don't wanna disturb anyone, either.
