@ Ava - That sounds a lot like how my parents were, except they were a little more thoughtful about it. When I asked them why they didn't name me anything else, they would just give me a look and that would be the end of that conversation. I was looking through a name book that was in my mom's room the other day, and I saw my name being spelled a different way (it was spelled Noshin in the book) That spelling was pretty ugly though, so I'm glad they spelled it nicer [sup]

My name is Morgan. It's kinda uncommon where I'm from which is wired because it means by the sea and I live on a coastline. But I wasn't named for the meaning weird enough. I was supposed to be Arianne but my grandma was mad because her granddaughter was going to be named after a unrelated dead guy named Ari so she picked my name. Change it? Maybe, I had thought about it in the past because I personally don't like it but my lovie does so it would be hard to change it now haha. I do want to change my middle name to its proper spelling though. (doc spelled it wrong on my birth certificate) and I will be changing my last name when I get married in April! |
