Nintendo's nextgen console

Rumors have been going around saying Nintendo is already planning a new console called the "Fusion". I don't really know the details since I'm not a tech head. Do you guys know anything about it?

If it's a rumor then there's nothing to talk about since there's no point in the discussions as it's simply assumptions and speculation.

From the stuff I can find, it sounds like what Sony has with the PS Vita. A handheld that can interact with the console. From what I'm reading, it just sounds like the New Nintendo 3DS is what it is, but the technology is called Fusion. /speculation

If it is something like that Vita, it's pointless. The 3DS can already interact with the Wii-U perfectly fine. As shown when transferring your Mii's and data, along with playing the new Smash Bro's for both systems. If anything, it might be an upgraded 3DS.

But knowing Nintendo, Fusion is probably just a code word because that name for one of their consoles it out of place for their style. And of course, a rumor is a rumor.

The Wii-U has plenty of life still left in it, no use fretting over a new system just yet.

Giving other players on the Wii-U the ability to have a screen like player one is pointless? I think that would be pretty interesting for some multi-player games. The Wii-U would have the capability to easily perform such a task in it's current state, and The New Nintendo 3DS to me would sound like the perfect vessel to help aid that. I mean, Think of some of the applications that could work. I doubt it would ever come to pas, but that would be one of the most interesting things I can see is a functionality and compatibility set up like that
