Name: Tallis Xertan
Age: 19
Birth year: 2121
Bio: Tallis was told that his job was to go back in time and protect one person, that was it. Being part of the time protection Unit, it is his job but he is also one of the youngest recruits. he has studied much of history to learn about his job, but he has always heard that going back in time is a lot more different then actually learning it or doing a simulation on it. For now, he just has to find his target and protect that person till they tell him to come back.

Name: Marjorie
Age: 19
Birth Year: 1995
Bio: The only daughter of a middle-class family, Marjorie helps out in any way that she can. Her family runs a small bar in the town even though they themselves don't drink, but it's a nice way to meet people and get some money to make it by. Whenever she isn't helping out, she enjoys taking walks through town and occasionally runs errands for people to earn a little extra to help her family. Another thing she enjoys is reading and spending quality time with her family even though they spend a lot of time together just working. Though, Marjorie always looks forward to sitting at the parlor room to talk about anything really.

Tallis looked at his heads as they nodded. Everything was prepared, he was wearing a rather nice suit and he hugged at his bow tie a little bit. "are you sure that I have to wear this?" he asked as he looked at the head chiefs. "Yes, we can't have they know that your from the future, it would only cause problems. So please wear the appropriate attire, we also have other suit capsules in your supplies. So please be sure to act properly for the time period." he said as he reviews some notes. "now then, what is your mission?" He asked and Talis straightened up, "I am to protected Marjorie till further instructions are given." he said as he placed his hand over his heart, the Head chief nodding. "good, now set your watch and get going, we want to make sure nothing will happen to her." Nodding Tallis bowed to him and then tapped his watch.

He felt like his body was being torn to pieces but he was use to it now after years of training. Once it stopped, he opened his eyes and he saw dirt, messy streets and a town in the distance. "you know i thought this era was suppose to be cleaner." he said absently to himself before looking at his watch. Pointing towards the town, he guessed that was where his target was. Hopefully he could gain her trust.

"MARJORIE!" called Marjorie's mother, Johanna. "Yes mother?" Marjorie replied while running down the stairs and kissing her father's cheek as he walked up the stairs. "Marjorie, be a dear and deliver this pie to the Coquilles please." ordered her mother in a tired voice. "Yes mother." Marjorie replied as she took the basket with the pie in it. Frowning slightly, she looked over at her mother and asked, "Is everything alright?". Johanna only nodded with a smile. "Couldn't get much sleep is all. Now hurry back, we'll be waiting for you at work you know." her mother informed. With a nod of her head, Marjorie walked out of her house and off towards the richer part of the town since that's where the Coquille family lived. It surprised her that they would even want a pie from them, but at least it would be an errand well payed. Arriving at the richer part of the town, Marjorie looked around at the houses, ignoring the stares she received from the upper class people. "The house has to be around here somewhere.." she said to herself as she looked at the beautiful houses that made her's look like a dog house in comparison.

A young male noticed her and smiled, "Are you lost?" he asked. Marjorie nodded. "I'm afraid so. You see, I'm supposed to bring this pie to the Coquille family but I cannot find their home. I know it's here somewhere though." Marjorie explained. "Ahh I see. You must be Johanna's girl, Marjorie correct?" he asked. "Yessir, that's me." Marjorie replied with a curtsy. "Well this is the Coquille's home." he explained and pointed to a house at the top of the hill. "I'm headed there right now actually, it's my home." he explained. "Oh, you must be there son correct?" Marjorie asked as she started walking with him towards the house. "Yes I am. I'm Maxwell, it's a pleasure to meet you miss Marjorie." he answered and bowed slightly before continuing to walk with her. "Mother and Father will be very pleased to receive their pie, they won't stop talking about it." Maxwell explained softly.

Tallis strolled into town, tugging at his bow as he tried to figure out where he was. He had studied history most of his life to do this job but now that he was here he wasn't sure where he was. Everything looked the same, dirty, muddy, and in chaos. Kids ran around carefree and screaming. Glaring at them as they ran past him, he looked down at his watch, "So my target is down this road." he said as he turned again and continued to walk. He had thought the victorian era would be.. more grand then this. Right now all he wanted to do was take off this monkey suit, change into his TPU uniform, and then run though this place. But he wasn't allowed, he had to act the part of this time period, he couldn't mess up time no matter what.

After looking around for a second his watch pointed forwards to a couple and the words, Target: Marjorie, danced across it before it shut down. Sighing, he looked at the girl and had to admit that she looked like a nice girl for a victorian era girl. Though when he saw the guy next to her he wondered what he should do. Was she a enemy? Should he take him out? Should he intervene? A he rubbed his watch a little, he decided to wait to dispose of the man till he knew he was a threat. For now he would follow them at a distance. If he tried anything, he would intervene and make sure that nothing happened to her. walking slowly, he tried to listen in on there conversation to get a better idea of who this man was.

Evergreen Goddess 11-22-2014 01:37 AM

"I'm sorry for having kept them waiting for it." Marjorie said to Maxwell as they approached his house. "Oh it's not bother at all really. Good things are worth waiting for after all." Maxwell replied and opened the door for her. "After you." he said. Smiling, Marjorie thanked him and walked inside the door, feeling rather uneasy when the door closed behind her. "Mother, Father! The pie is here!" Maxwell called out. Soon after he had done so, his parents walked out of the hall and approached them both. "Are you Johanna's girl?" asked Maxwell's mother. "Yes Ma'am, I'm Marjorie." Marjorie replied with a curtsy for them both before offering the pie to them. "Oh thank-you dear, it smells heavenly." the woman said as she took the pie from the basket and placed it on the table where she cut it up and had a slice for herself. "Delicious. John, pay the girl so she can get going. Her parents must be waiting for her." she explained. Maxwell's father took out the gold payment and handed it over to Marjorie. "Tell your mother that Sophia, Maxwell and I will be ordering from her again soon." John replied and let Marjorie leave.

Nodding, Marjorie quietly left the house with her basket in her arms and the gold hidden underneath the small rag that was inside the basket. "They were nicer than I thought they'd be. I guess not all higher class people are such snobs after all." Marjorie said to herself as she walked back down the same path to get back home. It was a silent walk back, but as she walked through the richer part of the town, she could feel people staring at her. "That girl isn't from here is she?" asked one lady. "Of course not, look at what she's wearing." replied another. "This is why I hate coming here..." Marjorie whispered to herself as she continued walking back home towards the bar her family owned.

Palmoun 11-22-2014 01:54 AM

Tallis had followed her all the way to the house and stayed outside, waiting for her. Slowly he was gathering attention as people realized that he wasn't exactly normal or something like that. With how his hair was nnearly white that it looked almost blue and his ice blue eyes, he probably looked very strange to them. Yet instead of being shunned he heard, "What section of town is he from?" "he has to live towards the top of the upper ring, maybe a distant relative of someone." He just smirked and closed his eyes as he waited for the girl.

After what seems like forever to him she finally came out and he resumed following her. He then listened to the comments of those around her and frowned, was status so important in this era? He never read about how the poor were scrutinized by the rich folk. But then again that isn't something you normally log into a history book. Sighing, he just continued to follow her and relax but then something caught his ear. "Have you noticed the charming boy seems to be following that girl?" He heard someone mutter and cursed to himself, "yeah, do you suppose she is taking him somewhere? or are they just going the same direction" "Maybe he is interested in her." "Impossible, she is of so.. low birth, a man as fine as him would never go for her." Tallis couldn't' help but laugh as he heard the conversation. So simple minded and so quick to judge. He just hopped there talk didn't affect the girl and make her run from him.

Evergreen Goddess 11-22-2014 02:32 AM

As Marjorie continued walking, she frowned. She could hear someone walking behind her. Sure she didn't think much of it though since she was sure whoever was walking behind her was just headed into the same part of town as she was. "Coincidence." she said to herself and still glanced back behind her to see a man with bright white hair...but he didn't look old at all. Quickly she looked back straight ahead of her and continued walking in silence. Her family's bar was called "The Honey Clover". It was named after her father's favorite tea, which quickly became her family's favorite tea to drink as well. Walking down the dusty road, she moved out of the way from the loud children as they ran around happily.

It wasn't long before she reached the bar and quickly dusted herself off. Fixing her hair, she sighed softly and quietly walked inside. "I'm here mother!" she called as the door closed behind her. "Marjorie, how did it go?" asked her mother after serving a couple something to drink. "They said that they would order again soon." Marjorie replied and handed her the basket. "Money's in there..." she whispered in her mother's ear before greeting other costumers. Marjorie herself wasn't really allowed to serve the drinks, but she was in-charge of the payments and occasionally served costumers something to eat as well. Sure this was a bar, but they did serve food if the people asked for it.

Palmoun 11-22-2014 05:39 AM

Tallis continued to follow her and was surprised that she didn't' start running when she looked back at him. What ever the reason, he needed a way to figure out how to stay close to her at all times. He had to make sure that she was never out of his sight. But how was he going to do that? It wasn't like he could stay at her house, well he could but he didn't' want to cause attention to himself or use too much of future technology here, it may cause a ripple in time. He had to figure out something else but what?

When he saw her head into a store, he looked up at and then held out his watch. Quickly it scanned the name of the place and on it displayed that this was her home and her fathers shop. Smiling, he knew now at least one way he could possibly get close to her. Heading inside, he went over to a table and then waited. He would have to talk to her father, but maybe he could figure out a way he could work here. He may not know much about working in a kitchen, but he was sure that he could talk his way into working here. That was at least one thing they trained him to do, he could talk and lie his way out of anything, it was his job in a sense.

Evergreen Goddess 11-22-2014 06:28 AM

Marjorie greeted the new costumer and watched him sit down before motioning at her father to watch the money box before walking over to the customer. "Hello and welcome to the Honey Clover. What can I get for you today sir?" she asked politely, pulling out a pencil and a small notepad to write down what he wanted. Her mother took over the money box and let her father start serving drinks to the customers who came up to the actually bar and requested some. It took Marjorie a while to realize that he was the same man walking behind her when she was walking back here, but when she did realize it she was pretty surprised to see him here.

Marjorie's parents noticed the new customer and noticed his white hair. "Odd, I've never seen anyone with hair like that before." Johanna whispered to her husband. "Neither have I...maybe he's from a neighboring town Johanna." replied her husband, Gaius. "Maybe so...but then what is he doing here?" asked Johanna. "I'm not sure...tourist maybe?" suggested Gaius as he cleaned some glasses and tended to other costumers.

Palmoun 11-22-2014 07:59 AM

Leaning back in his chair he looked up at Marjorie, "Hello, I was wondering if I may speak with the man who owns this restaurant." he said easily and hoped that it wasn't odd. He just had to work here or own this place so that he may watch over Marjorie. If the owner was unwilling to actually take him in as a worker and teach him a trade then he would simply buy the place. But buying the place may disrupt the time continuum so he hoped that the owner would just take him and let him work. It was be easier. Why is it that watching over a single person in time so much work?

"I am looking to start a job here in town and was hoping that there may be a opening here." he said as he smiled at her and leaned forward at bit. He could do manual labor, the TPU made it a priority that all recruits train and study history before they are able to actually go back in time. If they allowed him to even simply clean tables or something that would be fine. But he wasn't sure what else they would make him do, things were a lot different in this era then in his own. Things seemed a lot more… inefficient and dirty here now then in any other time he had seen even though he had only seen one other era besides his own and this one.

Evergreen Goddess 11-22-2014 08:27 PM

Marjorie listened carefully and nodded. "I see." she started and looked over at her father before looking at the man again. "Well I'm pretty sure my father can find you a job in here." Marjorie started and smiled. "I'll go get him now, please wait here." she said and quickly walked over to where her father and mother were working. "Father, that man there was wondering if he could speak with you." Marjorie started quietly. "About?" asked Gaius. "Well, he was hoping you could offer him some sort of job here." she explained. "A job?" Gaius repeated and chuckled. "I'll have to see if he can handle it. Excuse me." he said and walked over to the man before sitting down across from him. Marjorie quickly took over the money handling while her mother served drinks and even food to costumers.

"Hello, I'm Gaius. My daughter said you wanted to speak with me. Said you were looking for a job, is that correct?" Gaius asked politely. "If you really want to work here, I can give you a job here with my daughter. She'll teach you how to do things properly here. It isn't hard to work here, you just have top be fast, neat, and polite of course." Gaius explained and raised an eyebrow after seeing the male's white hair. "I've never seen you around here before. Are you new to this town?" he asked curiously.

Palmoun 11-22-2014 09:20 PM

Tallis nodded when he heard her and watched her leave. Hopefully her father was a reasonable guy that he could talk to unlike some of the leaders of the TPU. Some of them were unreasonable stubborn guys and he hoped that he didn't have to deal with them or anyone like them any time soon. When he saw a man heading over, he straightened up and wondered if he had to do any kind of protocol for this. Yet when the man sat down, he tried to relax. Were victorian era interviews as hard as 2121 interviews? he wasn't sure but hopefully they weren't.

"It is nice to meet you sir, I am Tallis and that is correct, I am hoping to get a job." he said as he looked at Marjories father. He looked nice or at least nicer then some of the people he knew in the future. Hearing him he smiled and nodded, "I can work pretty quickly and I treat everyone with respect sir." he said and hoped that Gaius would take him or at least it sounded like he would which meant this part of his mission would be easy. Though when he heard him, he nodded, "I just came to town sir, I decided I would make my own living with my own means rather then rely on my parents." he said, hoping that didn't' sound farfetched in this era.

Evergreen Goddess 11-22-2014 09:56 PM

"Tallis, it's nice to meet you too. I'm Gaius, the owner of this bar. Now...you seem like a good young man. Probably no older than Marjorie really." Gaius started and smiled, "Leaving the nest huh?" he asked and nodded. "No worries Tallis, if you want a job here you have it. You can start right away if you have the time. I'm sure Marjorie will be happy to help you out if you need any." Gaius said softly and motioned at Marjorie to come over. "Yes father?" she asked once she had arrived. "Marjorie, you've met Tallis already and he'll be here working with you. Now, I want you to help him in anything he needs okay?" Gaius said softly. Marjorie nodded, "Yes father." she said and smiled at Tallis. "I look forward to working with you." she said politely and looked at her father. "What should I help him with first?" she asked curiously.

"Show him around first Marjorie, he's new to this town so make him feel welcome. Let him get comfortable and then start taking orders." her father replied and looked at Tallis. "I'm sure you'll do a good job, you seem like a respectable young man so I have no reason to believe you'll let us down." Gaius said and stood up. "Get along you two, you'll be working together now so make the best of it. I won't allow any violence in here." he added and excused himself before going back to the counter to help his wife. Marjorie nodded and watched her father leave before looking at Tallis and curtsying. "I knew my father would give you a job, he's a good man." Marjorie started before gasping softly. "Oh I'm sorry, I never formally introduced myself. "I'm Marjorie, it's very nice to meet you sir Tallis." she said politely and smiled. "Tallis...I've never hear that name before." she admitted and fixed her hair before motioning at Tallis to follow her through the bar. "My parents never allow me to serve the drinks, but I am allowed to work with the money, clean the floors and tables, take and fill orders. So we still have plenty of work we can do." Marjorie said and handed him a notepad and pencil. "Are you familiar with this sort of work?" Marjorie asked.

Palmoun 11-24-2014 01:55 AM

Tallis smiled when he heard him and nodded, "yes sir, I would like to start as soon as possible." he said and couldn't believe how easily it had been for him to get a job here. In the future you had to get a retina scan, thumb print analysis, interview, and a few other things to verify that you could work. It took a long time but this, this time period was easy when it came to jobs and he was kind of jealous of that. When Marjorie came over he smiled at her, hopefully he would be able to work very closely with her since he couldn't' let her out of his sight for his real job. "Thank you very much and I won't let you down." he said as he bowed to him slightly as he left.

Looking at Marjorie he smiled when she introduced herself. "It is wonderful to meet you Marjorie." he said as he bowed to her and was glad that she didn't know he was following her. Though when he heard her he had to quickly think, "uh… my Parents are from a far away country and in honor of my mother they named me after my grandfather." he said and hoped that sounded believable. He then moved to follow her and nodded as he listened to the possible duties he would have to perform while working here. It sounded easy enough but he was sure that he would be able to do it. "I have done labor before but I haven't worked in a restaurant before." he said and hoped tat it wasn't too hard. He didn't need to be fired because then he would have to figure out a different way of staying close to her.

Evergreen Goddess 11-24-2014 02:41 AM

Marjorie listened to Tallis as he explained the origin of his name and chuckled softly. "Really? Well I think that's very nice of them to do that. I'm sure you like the name you were given right?" Marjorie asked and shook her head at what he said then. "Well you need not worry. I'll be here to help you throughout the day. Our job really isn't hard once you learn it." she assured and noticed a couple come in and sit at a table. "Look, some costumers have arrived. Now usually I would ask you to take their order but I want you to watch me as I do it that way you know how to do it properly." Marjorie said and walked with Tallis over to the costumers. "Hello and welcome to The Honey Clover, what can I get you both today?" Marjorie asked and started to write down what each person wanted. "I'll bring your order right away." Marjorie said and motioned at Tallis to follow her.

"You think you can handle this so far?" she asked as she handed the orders to her mother who left to the kitchen to work on them. "I think you can do it sir Tallis. If I can do it, so can you." Marjorie said reassuringly after taking the orders her mother had handed her and balanced them perfectly before walking over to the couple's table and setting their orders down carefully in front of them. "Here you go, enjoy." she said and bowed her head in thanks before excusing herself and looking at Tallis. "Quite an easy thing to do don't you think?" Marjorie asked curiously.

Palmoun 12-01-2014 05:34 AM

Tallis was surprised that his lie actually worked and smiled, "I like it, but it does get annoying. A lot of people ask about my name sometimes." he said, glad that it was easier to lie in this time. Nodding, he followed her over to the customers. He watched her carefully and also every customer in the room. He wasn't sure when or if anyone would try anything but he had to be on his watch. When Marjorie motioned for him to follow he jumped and then followed, glad that so far the mission was going smoothly.

"I think i can handle this." he said as he smiled at her and hoped that he would be fine. Smiling at her reassurance he nodded then watched, slightly amazed at how she could balance all of that. IN the future they just teleported the food to the table so that there was no chance of it falling. Following her out of there he nodded and for the first time was sure he was going to mess up with this job. "I think i can I am just worred about dropping the food." he said as he looked at her, being honest.

Evergreen Goddess 12-01-2014 06:10 AM

"Well people will always be curious, it's part of our human nature." Marjorie explained and shook her head. "Now, Now...no need to worry about dropping the food. You'll learn that balancing the food is an easy thing to do." she replied and thought for a bit. "If you do drop the food, just make sure not to drop it on the people or else they won't be coming back." she quickly added and motioned at a man who walked in and sighed softly when she saw they he just wanted a few drinks before leaving. "It's been pretty slow around here lately...I'm not sure why but I can tell that it bothers my parents a bit." she said quietly and smiled slightly.

"I'll be right here with you to make sure that doesn't happen though. You'll see that you'll be balancing food rather easily in no time." Marjorie assured with a nod of her head as a small group entered and sat down at a table. "I'll help you with this one. Come along Sir Tallis." she said and walked over to the table with a smile. "Hello and welcome to The Honey Clover. "We'll be your waitress and waiter for the day. What can wee get you today?" she asked them softly and started to write down their orders.

Palmoun 12-03-2014 10:11 PM

Tallis nodded when he heard Marjorie but was still a little bit nervous about handling the food. Though when he heard her he couldn't' help but laugh, "I will try my best not to drop it on the customers. I doubt they would like to smell like food for the rest of the day." he said as he watched a man come in. hearing her though he frowned, "is there another restaurant that is drawing away from your business or something?" he asked and wondered if this was a big part of history or something. Yet it was just a small restaurant, he still had to wonder though how marjorie was so important. Why was he assigned to protect her, what was she going to do?

He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard Marjorie and nodded. "thank you, it is nice to know I have someone to show me the ropes." he aid before following her over to the new customers. As he watched them and Margori he got a weird feeling and when he saw a flash of silver and metal he knew that others were. Looking at the customers he watched as the one held a rod, it looked harmless but Tallis knew better. Quickly, he moved between Margori and the customers, "uh margori, I think I hear your father calling you. I don't want to keep you but why don't you let me try doing this by myself, it doesn't seem to hard." he said as he smiled yet felt the piece of metal pressed against his skin as he looked to see the man just smiling at him. They knew who he was.

Evergreen Goddess 12-04-2014 01:06 AM

Marjorie laughed softly and nodded happily. "Yes, I'm sure the costumers wouldn't take kindly to smelling like food and having their clothes tampered." she explained and had to think a bit before answering his question. "Well...to be honest I'm not quite sure. It could be possible though Sir Tallis." she answered honestly. Marjorie was busy taking their orders and stopped abruptly when Tallis spoke up. "My father?" she repeated and looked back at her father who was handling drinks. "Are you sure he called?" she asked and smiled. "Alright, you take care of these costumers and I'll go see what father wants. I'm sure you'll do perfectly fine." she said finally and left Tallis alone with the costumers as she walked over to her father.

"Father did you call for me?" she asked. Gaius looked at her rather confused at first before shaking his head. "No I have not Marjorie. Aren't you supposed to be helping Tallis out?" he asked. "I was...but he said that he heard you call for me." Marjorie replied before frowning slightly. "Odd..." she said to herself. "Well...maybe he just wants to prove to all of us that he can handle this on his own. I'm sure he's watched how to do it right Marjorie?" asked Johannah. When Marjorie nodded, Johanna only smiled. "See? He is probably a fast learner." she said softly as she handed someone their change and thanked them for coming as they left.

Palmoun 12-04-2014 08:15 AM

Tallis smield once she left and then heard, "so, we have a little guardian for the girl." he heard a rough voice whisper as he pressed the rod into his back more, "but it looks like your just a newbie, i doubt you can even protect her or use your dimensional room yet." he said laughing to himself A second later through Tallis twirled around, taking the rod out of his hand and a second later pressed it up against the mans neck. "please understand, I plan to do my job to the best of my abilities and if that means I have to eliminate you I will." he said as he pressed the button on the rod. The end of it glowed red hot and you could hear a slight hiss coming form the mans neck now. "if you want to keep your life I suggest that you get out of here before you get me angry." he said as the man whimpered softly. Taking away the rod and turning it off, he stuck it in his coat, "now get out of here before I kick you out." he hissed.

As the men moved out of there he realized that a few of the other customers had been watching and he smiled at them. Hopefully they just thought that they were noisy and rude customers. Bowing to the few that were still watching them, he smiled, "I am sorry to disturb your meal, i just had to remove what didn't belong." he said before straightening and heading towards Marjorie. Now that he knew people were around her he knew he had to keep a closer watch on her. Feeling the rod in his coat he smiled, it was nice to have a weapon on you. "uh.. it seems that the customers were actually looking for a different restaurant, maybe there really is another restaurant around town now." he said as he tried to play it off and hoped that word didn't go around that he tossed customers out.

Evergreen Goddess 12-04-2014 06:40 PM

Marjorie was cleaning out glasses and drying them before setting them down carefully. "You're probably right mother." she said softly and handed her father a glass to pour a drink into for a lady. "Mother, Father...do we have anything planned for tomorrow?" Marjorie asked curiously. "You mean after work?" asked her father. "Yes I do." replied Marjorie. "Well... I'm not quite sure. Your mother will probably bake and send you out to sell them." Gaius explained. This made Marjorie chuckle because she knew her father was right. If her mother had time, she'd probably spend it making pies to sell for some extra money. "Mother why don't you just sell pies here?" she asked. "I do Marjorie dear. It is just nice to have a little extra gold in your pockets and besides, one can never have too much pie I think." her mother answered.

When Tallis spoke, they all turned to look at him. "Really? Then you're right...that's probably why we don't get many costumers." Marjorie stated softly. "There's nothing wrong with that Marjorie. We still get plenty of costumers. So you shouldn't worry about that." Gaius said and smiled at Tallis. "I have to admit, you did a very nice job of handling that situation. Most people would try to keep the costumers from leaving without buying something first. It's nice to know that you're not like that though." he noted. "I agree. You did a very nice job." Johanna agreed. Marjorie smiled at the praise Tallis was receiving, "For your first day here, you made it look like you've been working here for a while now. You really are a fast learner just like mother said." Marjorie commented and started to clean out the tables as people were leaving. It was getting dark which meant closing time was here.

Palmoun 12-04-2014 10:53 PM

Tallis smiled at her, "i am sure that we can get the customers back so don't fret." he said as he tried to get her to cheer up.Though when he heard Gaius he found he was proud to be praised, "I couldn't force them to stay even if I wanted too. We don't want to make people feel like they are forced to do anything here." he said as he lied a bit. He would force people to leave, that was the only thing that he would make anyone do. No one was going to harm Marjorie if he had anything to say about it. "I guess I have just been to enough restaurants to know what to do." he said as he followed Marjorie out to help clean up.

Picking up dishes, he wondered where he should set up his home portal. It was used by all Time police to stay close to there targets, it was a separate space created just for them to use. It would have to be close to Marjorie, if he found a door he could place it inside the doorway so that he could create his own space and be close to her. maybe he would even make it in there doorway or window at there house. It was be best. Taking some plates back, he worked easily and efficiately. After a while all the customers were gone and everything was just about clean. Smiling, he looked at Marjorie, "are we suppose to do anything else after cleaning up?"

Marjorie worked efficiently and quickly as she cleaned the tables, chairs and floor. Once everything was cleaned, she heard her mother washing the dirty dishes and her father was counting the money as they worked. Pushing in the chairs so that everything was ready for tomorrow, Marjorie looked at Tallis and brushed some hair out of her face. "No, we head home after this but you should probably go to my father to get your day's pay." she explained easily and thought for a second. "You'll be going home now...but you'll come back tomorrow won't you?" she asked curiously. Marjorie had actually enjoyed having Tallis around to work with, it was nice to have someone to talk to while you worked. Still, she couldn't talk to Tallis all the time during working hours, but they would probably get a chance to talk later on outside of work...maybe.

"We should start heading home before people start coming in, thinking we're still open." Johanna said as she dried her hands and turned the 'OPEN' sign over so that it said 'CLOSED' instead. "Yes mother." Marjorie replied and waved goodbye to Tallis before following her mother out of their. Gaius walked over to Tallis and smiled, "Here you are, your share of the gold." he said politely as he handed some gold to Tallis. "Use it as you wish, it's yours now. We'll see you tomorrow here, same time." he explained and waited to make sure everyone even Tallis was out of their before locking the door closed and heading home with his family.

Tallis nodded when he heard her and then smiled, "of course I am coming back tomorrow, i am one of your employees." he said as he looked at her and knew he would never skip a day of work. He may even work when he didn't have too, he had to keep a eye on Marjorie. Heading out the door after them he smiled as he looked at his pay. "thank you sir and I will be here tomorrow as early as possible." he said as he smiled at him and had to admit the people were very nice in this time period.

Sticking the gold in his pocket he headed down the road and slipped around a corner. Peeking out, he watched as Marjorie and her family headed home. Quietly he started to follow them and stuck in the crowd. He had to make sure he figured out where they lived, it was essential to his mission. If he didn't' then he couldn't protect marjorie and that would spell disaster for the future. The one thing that every Time keeper feared was messing up because if they did it might even mean they got erased from there own time period.
