Piper smiled as she ran her fingers over the reef, taking n the texture of everything. She felt some of the fish swim by her and greet her for the day. In truth she loved being at the reef, there were so many friends here and the water was so warm. Feeling around, she soon found a nice sunny spot and settled down there was she listened to everything that was going around her. She didn't miss her sight all that much, but sometimes she wondered what everything looked like with her own eyes. Soon she felt something settle down in her lap, Reaching out, she felt the slick surface of a stingray and smiled as she continued to stroke it. for the longest time she had it as a friend, more like a pet really.

Sighing, eh thought about the request the others had given her not too long ago. They had asked her to be a representative for them up on the surface. She had never been on the surface before, never walked or anything. It kind of worried her that they trusted her so much with something so important. Was it really okay to send a blind mermaid to be a negotiator between the humans and the merpeople? Was she going to mess up? Her stomach churned with worry as she continued to stroke the stingray in her lap, trying to calm down.

Tallis stood outside of the throne room, well more liked crouched. Slowly he was tracing the strone in the floor and wondered if anything interesting was going to happen. Sure, he was a good guard but he got bored really easily. It was the only flaw he had, or at least that was what the king said. Right now all he wanted to do was go eat something or spar with someone. Yet he knew he had more of a chance to eat then spar. No one ever liked the spar with him because they all said the same thing, they felt like he was going to kill them in one blow. He guessed it was because whenever he spared with someone he would smile and they all said that he looked like some kind of mad man with that smile and look in his eyes.Yet he wasn't even sure if that was true, he couldn't remember anything of his past.

Slowly standing up, he streached out a bit as he yawned. Maybe something interesting would happen today to at least he hoped. Looking at his arm, he slowly started to trace the tattoos that ran over them. Most guards were required to put on armor or at least a shirt. Yet to him they were itchy and he personally hated them. The last time they tried to put one on him he tore it off in seconds. After a while they just gave up and left him be, especially after he attacked the last person to try to slip a shirt on him.

Lady Chello 11-23-2014 01:50 AM

Celesia looked around the thrown room feeling awkward once again. She wasn't like the other mermaids that lived here. Her tail was longer, looking more like a serpent or reptiles than mermaids. Her human part was covered in a hard scale like piece that started at her neck and went down between her cleavage. Two smaller pieces covered her chest, with another think strip that went down her stomach. The thin strip connected to the beginnings of her tail. The coloration of her scaling was dramatically different as well. Her colors ranged from black to pink with purple and gray in between. If that didn't make her stand out the blue crystals imbedded in her body did.

Normal mermaids where beautiful with variations, but none of them had variations like she did. She was the outlier among her kind. The dramatic difference in appearance made her self concuss. She looked up as the men in the court flirted with some of the younger women. She hung her head hearing some of the other men mention the "Sea Dragon".
It was the ugly nickname the locals of the island both on land and in the water had given her. Due to her appearance and the power she held over the ocean. The name made her want to cry hearing it again. She bolted from the thrown room not caring who saw as she swam to her secret spot. She swam quickly finding the cave entrance. She swam through the small entrance that lead up to the surface. She smiled as she surfaced seeing the beautiful beach and feeling the wonderful warm sun.
She closed her eyes as she morphed from fish into a full human. She slowly mad her way to the land taking a seat on the warm beach. She hung her head as she noticed one of her large black scales had falling off. It was only proof that she was changing. This year her an one other mermaid where coming of age. It meant they were not protected by their thick hard scales. Instead they had weak points where their old scales where falling off. The molting of their scales would give way to their adult tail. Meaning they where able to mate. The thought scared Celesia due to the fact the king had promised her to his son due to her status among mermaids. The king felt it was a honor to have Celesia. He said she was a mermaid Guardian and that was the reason she was so different.

Most mermaids could do some form of water bending and communication with fish. Celesia could summon massive storms large moving bodies of water and other horrific monstrosities The thought of her power made her cry. Unlike most mermaids she had no interest in hurting others. All she wanted was to be free and live in peace. That's why she convinced the king she should go with Piper. She had told him she knew humans, most languages, their culture, promoted peace, and could act as Pipers eyes. The argument was supported by the other advisers even though they didn't like it. The prince was furious when he found out she was leaving for the human world. All the royal court wanted of her was put her in a jeweled palace and lock her in it unless they needed her power or knowledge. She could teach younger mermaids the history of mermaids and other creators. However the advisers wanted more from her, they wanted her to teach the young ones how to master their powers. In all honesty they wanted monsters like her. The thoughts depressed her as she sat there alone on the beach.

Loki moved with ease along the coat line. He had been patrolling the night before making sure unwelcome visitors didn't get any further. He had a meeting with the king, he knew better than making the King wait to long. He road the horse as fast as he could making sure not to over do it. He patted the horse as he road to comfort the beautiful creator. He was tired and honestly wanted his bed but that was not a luxury he had. After a hour or so the kingdom finally came into view. In all honest it was more of a four hour ride, it just felt like a hour to him. He could tell the poor horse was exhausted by the time they made it to the Gate. He slowly dismounted leading the horse in by food. Once inside the kingdoms wall he lead the horse to the stable.

"You deserve every bit." He said making sure he gave the horse a bucket full of oats. He removed all the gear from the horse, then brushed the horse down. He checked the horses hoves making sure there was nothing in them. He was puzzled as he saw a large black scale bedded in one. He gently pried it free as he marveled at it. It was just smaller than his palm the horse body weight hadn't manage to break it. He was fascinated by it. He wasn't sure what to make of it. He finished with the horse and made his way to the Thrown room.

He smiled seeing Tallis posted outside of the thrown room. "I found this for you. I know you like weird things. I think you have more of these your making into weapons right?" He said handing his dear friend the black scale. "It's weird how they just started appearing this year. They're really strong, this one was lodged in my horse's hove. " He said as he turned hearing the Kings voice. "Come on we have a meeting to attend." He said rather cheerful opening the doors and stepping into the room. He bowed respectfully to the King. From the look the King was waiting on Tallis to join before he would speak.

Piper felt a rift in the water not to far from her and knew that it was in the direction towards the cave that lead the the surface. Patting the stingray on the head, it swam up form her lap and then waited for her. Placing a hand on its leathery top, she let it guide her towards the opening and peeked out. The knew the ocean like the back of her hand but the land was different, it was new. Something that excited her to no end. Reaching through towards the sand, she drew back slightly as she felt it burn her hand slightly from being too warm. But that didn't' stop her. reaching out, he placed her hand in the warm sand and slowly started to slid out of the water, her tail slowly turning from its sea glass green to two long legs. She wasn't exactly what legs looked like, all she knew was that she needed a little more practice with them.

Once she pulled herself out, she heard a splash and knew it was Ray, "don't worry, I can find my way back easily." She heard another splash in protest and she reached out, patting its leathery head again, "I promise I won't go far, I just want to explore a bit and see who game up." she said and with that she started to crawl around. Slowly, she pushed herself up to her feet, a little wobbly, but slowly she started to walk around. She loved the feeling of the sun burning off the sea water and warming her skin. It felt almost as good as when you were in the water. Slowly stepping with each foot, she made her way down the beach, loving the texture and feeling of it under her feet. She wondered what land sand looked like and what a tree looked like. But she knew she would never see that.

She then sensed it, the feeling of someone being closely, "hey, mind if I sit with you?" she asked happily and clearly unafraid. After years of only being able to talk she wasn't afraid to share her mind at times or talk to someone she knew she might not know. She guessed it came with being blind but there were drawbacks to it. Slowly and carefully she lowered herself to the ground and closed her eyes. It didn't change much, darkness was still darkness but it made her feel normal. "what does the beach look like?" and then she turned to the person next to her, "and who are you? I'm piper." She wondered if it was the girl that she was suppose to go with. She didn't' exactly have many friends, sure she talked to a lot of people but not friends. Most people thought it was too much work to be friends with a blind girl, they felt like they would have to take care of her or something.

Tallis smiled when he saw Lokie and when he saw the little trinket he quickly took it. Holding it up to the sun, he marveled at it for a little bit before sticking it in his pocket. "Thanks." he said and didn't' say much else. He wasn't much of a talker most of the time but that didn't' seem to bother Loki much which he appreciated. Others thought he was just a dumb idiot who could only take orders and looked like he was already a killer. He wasn't sure if he was a killer, but he did know that he liked the odd things that came from the beach.

"I think they are useful and pretty." he said before following him into the kings chamber. Looking at the king he put his hands behind his back as others just looked at him, some with horror and some with disgust. A lot of people didn't like him since people said he gave off a strange aura, but he didn't care. After being here for a couple of years it didn't bother him anymore. Looking up at the King, he bowed slightly and then straightened up. "Mission?" he asked and hoped that it was something interesting. Maybe he had to be on beach watch or something, if it dealt with the beach he would be happy for the most part.

Celesia looked up as she heard someone surfacing. She smiled as she watched the young woman transform, seeing she wasn't use to her legs. "Hello piper, I'm Celesia I will be your partner for this venture. " She said warmly putting her own cares away thinking of Piper. Her voice even out sounding like a soft melody as she looked around. "The sand is a soft tan color with the hint of gold. The sun is high just noon. The sky is a beautiful blue full of fluffy white clouds. The palm trees are tall with many palms on them. The rocks here are smooth from the ocean beating on them. " She said as he noticed Piper wasn't clothed properly. She dipped her hand into the water as she moved it forward throwing water at Piper. The water hit Piper as a bright light came from her. The light faded as she was clothed in a regal top with simple pants and boots. She had a simple sting ray pin on Piper's right shoulder holding a beautiful blue cloak in place. The cloak had silver designs on it of different ocean creators on the rim of it. No one could mistake her for anything and a mermaid. A silver bracelet appeared on Pipers right wrist. It formed a sting ray as well.
"There I hope that is comfortable for you. Now every time you change this will appear on you. " She said using her water magic it was a rear gift. She gently stood up as she gently took Piper's hand pulling the girl to her feet. Unlike most mermaids her legs were normal to her. "Lets start with teaching you stand in your new clothing and shoes. " She said knowing clothing was sometimes difficult. "Wait till we get into dresses and heals." She said giggling at the thought and fun it would be teaching Piper.

Loki kept his hand behind him, as he summon a small fireball making the people who where being rude jump back and leave. He didn't like how people treated Tallis. The fireball vanished as soon as it appeared his message had gotten across. He rolled his eyes standing the king dismissing them from bowing. The king laughed as he looked to Loki. "Torturing the court again are we?" The commit made Loki hang his head again. "You noticed." He said letting out a breath. "You know how I feel about their intolerance of other people. It's just plain rude." He said openly knowing the king felt the same way. The king nodded in agreement. "That's why I thought you and Tallis would be the perfect candidates for the mission. I have two ambassadors from the mermaid kingdom I need brought here and kept safe. We are looking at negotiating a treaty. Besides the people in our own walls there are many that would jump at the change to harm or take one of them. " The king said in a serious tone. "They will be waiting at the beach. Their names are Lady Piper and Lady Celesia. Tallis I need you to pick one of the wolves to be a guide dog. Our smaller dogs couldn't protect her but a wolf would make a attacker think twice. You are good with the animals here and a great judge of character. Bring the ladies here and once meeting them you can choose a wolf that would fit them both. Or maybe one of your dragons. " The king said as he wondered about the choice. "Your dismissed." He finally said going back to his thoughts.

Palmoun 11-23-2014 11:13 AM

Piper smiled when she heard Celesia and nodded, "It is nice to meet you." she said, glad that she was nice. She had heard many rumors and wondered if she really was a sea dragon. But from the sounds of it she was rather nice, nicer then some of the others were to her. When she described everything, she closed her eyes again and breathed in deeply, "everything sounds like it looks perfect." she said softly and then felt stuff being put on her. Touching all over her, she found the materials to be rather odd but felt nice at the same time. Looking over at her, she smiled, "thank you, I can't exactly do that myself." IN truth she didn't have much talent when it came to moving the water. She couldn't visualize it moving like her teachers said too, she couldn't visualize the water twirling around or dancing like they asked. She couldn't because she ahd never seen it herself. It was one of the reasons why many viewed her as a lower mermaid. As Celesia pulled her to her feet, she was glad for the support as her legs were a little wobbly, "thanks, I am not sure what a dress or a heal is, but they sound interesting." she said as she smiled happily, "and thank you for coming with me. I know most people wouldn't want to escort me or anything." she said as she slowly walked around with her.

Tallis smiled when loki made them leave and was glad for that. Humans were odd creatures that judged others quickly, it was why he liked animals more. Though when he heard the kings request he simply nodded and bowed. He had never met a mermaid before but he was looking forward to it. Would they prefer a dragon or a solve? He had many of both but if a mermaid smelled like a fish he feared the wolves may attack them. He would pick two dragons for them, they were wise creatures that tended to be nice and kind toward those they liked. The only catch was they chose there masters so he would have to bring them to the dragons. Bowing to the king, he headed out of there and smiled at Loki, "Fun day at the beach." he said as he looked forward to it. "should I bring Spark?" he asked as he thought of his personal pet dragon. It was the runt of a hatchling that he had gotten when he first came here and never grew much bigger then a hatchling. Since no one else wanted it, he had kept the little creatures and gradually it had became his. When the king had realized that animals gravitated towards him, he had made him the animal keeper for the kingdom. He didn't' mind that, animals were better then humans at times to him.

Lady Chello 11-23-2014 11:42 AM

Celesia smiled as she heard the girl. "Thank you, for not judging me like the others. Most people can't do what I can. I think that is the only reason I am allowed to stay. I don't like the nick names they give me. I don't like being called Sea Dragon or Sea Witch. Just because my appearance is different. The king is fond of me that is the only reason I am allowed to stay and the Prince. They love me but the others only want to use me as a weapon. That's why I came here. I have been with humans before, I washed up here once, and I still don't have my memories. I lock myself in the library most days in the castle so I don't have to be with the others. It doesn't help I'm the only mermaid besides one other who is molting their scales. That means there is a constant fight for me in the royal court. I have no interest in marring anyone I don't love. Apparently there is one other mermaid around my age that is coming of age. The king hasn't revealed who she is yet but, he says she is gifted with Knowledge and diplomacy. I assume he speaks of you. one of your green scales fell off in the water when you changed. The men in the court are fighting over you too so you know." She said as she saw the stingray still there. "I will protect her with my life. I promise no harm will come to her. You have my word." She told it as she gently stepped back forcing Piper to move forward.

She kept hold of her hands as she moved again walking back. "Don't fight them just let your mind go it will be fine." She said trying to figure out how to help Piper. "If you don't think about them you wont worry about them." She said knowing that if the girl didn't worry about walking she would walk. She knew they had a few hours before someone would be dispatched to retrieve them. She looked forward to seeing the King again and the dragons. She knew the Prince hadn't forgot her history here among the people. She hadn't either the King had changed and felt bad for beating her once he had met her. She had hide herself in the royal library away from the mermaids. She knew the Mermaid King felt bad for how he had treated her, and for how her life had been in his court. She still feared her own people after that day. She tried to push back the memory of that day and all the ones of the person she had forgotten that day. He hadn't bothered to save her or even shed a tear.
That was the day she gave up on love. The day she stopped leasing to her own heart. That was the day she stopped fighting. The day she became the coward that hide in the library. She just tried her best to find some happiness in her royal prison. That day had ended her fantasy of love conquering all. She had learned the hard way that love isn't always returned. One person can love more than the other. She looked back to Piper as she put her past behind her honestly here to help the girl. The king had thought it would be good for her to help Piper. She wouldn't let him down and would see to the treaty. Even if that meant putting her heart through pain again going to the place she had been hurt. That day had broke her when he turned his back on her. He could have just said no. Instead he turned around and walked off allowing the men to take her. She wast a match for them and learned the hard way to fear men of any race. She never used her magic on anyone but after that day she wished she could have used it to make the day never happen.

She wondered what her life would have been like if she never met the human, that broke her. Could she have been happy among the mermaids here. The thoughts escaped her as she focused on Piper. Her past was that a past. She was stupid and young and deserved what she got. She was the keeper of mermaid knowledge and should have known humans couldn't be trusted. That is why she had the treaty already written with the consequences of breaking the agreement with the Mermaid kingdom. The king had made sure she understood his interest was in protecting their people. He wanted his people able to swim freely without the king hunting them as some did. Honestly the Mermaid King for some reason found favor with this one kingdom. But he treated this political move as if he was going to join with any other human kingdom.

Loki smiled as he looked to Tallis. "This sounds fun indeed. Of course bring Spark. I love him maybe one day a dragon will choose me. " He said as he headed out of the room. He went to the stables and readied four horses. He climbed onto one of his horses knowing his main horse needed rest. He held the reigns of the others as he waited for Tallis. He wondered if dragons would get alone with the other mermaid. He knew the name of one already. She had been the beautiful woman that had washed up on the shores here. He wondered if Tallis remembered her. If he didn't he was sure Spark would. Celesia had spent time with them before the Mermaid king took her away. Many of the people and animals grew fond of her. She seemed to enchant most people with her kindness.

The woman hadn't wanted to leave but Tallis had given her no reason to stay. From what he had heard she wasn't happy with the mermaids. Though the names they gave her he understood why. He knew it would be a touchy subject with Tallis if he saw her. Tallis had harbored feelings for her but he put his job before them and let her go. She had begged Tallis to let her stay but he wouldn't disobey the king, and allowed the mermen to drag her kicking and screaming. The memory mad him cringe. The men had been rough with her knocking her unconscious and beating her for disobeying their kings order. The king had sent a message upon learning here was a mermaid living in the human kingdom to report at once.

It had been hard for all the royal court. They were helpless as they watched her being punished. The king couldn't interfere because the Merpeople massed in the thousands here and were their allies. He knew he needed to prepare his friend. He had forgot the name Tallis had given her. Tallis had found her and named her something different. He wasn't sure if Tallis would know her Mermaid name. He wasn't sure if Tallis remembered he had known a mermaid. "Crap, I shouldn't have open my big mouth about Spark. That's why he wants Tallis for this mission the King knows it's her. The king should have said no. It's going to open old wounds. Bring the Dragon stupid me. " He said scolding himself as he hung his head. "How did she even get the mermaid King to allow her to come. Something about this isn't setting well with me.The king beat her and drug her to his palace against her will. Why is he so friendly now? "He said out loud one of his bad habits.

Palmoun 11-23-2014 08:17 PM

Piper smiled when she heard Celesia, "why would I judge you? your just like everyone else to me, maybe even nicer then others." she said as she slowly started to walk. Though when she heard her she shook her head, "I may be coming of age and I can feel the eyes of everyone, but no one comes to me in wish to court me. I know only a few will, being blind deters people from getting close at times. They all want a wife who will take care of them, not a wife they need to take care of." she said and started not thinking about walking like she said. After a while her legs started to become stronger and less wobbly. Smiling, she looked at her, "look, I'm actually walking." and slowly started to pull away form her. Walking by herself, she smiled but kind of missed the feeling of the sand between her toes. Yet then she got a odd feeling.

Turning to Celesia, she frowned, "what is the matter? you feel out of sorts?" she asked as she took a few steps back to get to celesia but ended up a few steps away from her instead. This was one thing that being blind did give her, she could feel when people were worried and it was one of the reasons why she made such a good negotiator. "you say you have been with humans before? is it because your worried about going back? Did the people not treat you well? do you not want to be here?" she asked slightly worried for her new friend. She didn't want to drag Celesia to the land with her if she didn't want to or it brought back something painful for her.

Sensing where she was now moved closer and reached out. Touching her face, she felt the worry in her face and the tenseness in it. "There is someone you don't want to meet here, do you. Or at least there is someone who hurt you." she said softly as she slowly dropped her hand and frowned. "I'm sorry to have you to come here and reopen wounds." she said but then smiled a bit, "but i am glad to have someone with me."

Tallis smiled and then put two fingers to his lips and whistled. A seconds later you saw a bright blue slittle speck flying through the sty and towards them. As it got closer, you could see it was a rather small dragon and it landed on Tallis's shoulder. Nipping his ear playfully and lovingly, Tallis smiled and patted the little creatures head. "Sparks." he said and then headed over to his horse. Patting its head, he hopped up onto it and then smiled at Loki though when he heard his muttering he frowned. By the sounds of it he was going to be meeting someone he knew maybe, or at least someone sparks knew.

The only thing was that there was only one mermaid he knew and he had been horrible to her in the last moments she was here. He had been so shocked that she was leaving he had no idea what to do. By the time the anger had replaced his confusion she was being dragged into the sea. He had regretted not doing anything since that day and had been going to the beach every day. He had hoped he would find her again on the beach and again he would make sure that she was safe here on land. He would have taken care of her, been with her and happy. Yet, each time he went he didn't see her and it didn't help that his memory was't the best. He could only remember a few things and they were current things. He was glad that she was one of the more current ones.

As he thought of her, he smiled sadly as they slowly made there way towards the beach now. She had been the most beautiful girl to him and hadn't judged him on the tattoos on him. Even if he scared other, she was the only one who didn't fear him. She had even tried to help him get his memory back but that was for a lost cause. What ever happened there was a block in his memory or at least something causing him not to remember. Maybe one day he would and maybe it would be with her, but for now he was alone. He had lost his Ebony to the sea and al he had left was a king who gave him a home and a friend on Loki.

Lady Chello 11-24-2014 02:28 AM

Celesia was shocked as she heard Piper. She stayed still as she felt the genital hands on her face. "It was not your doing sweet Piper. Just be careful around humans. Don't believe in everything they say, or you'll be hurt to. " She said softly as held out her left hand summoning the water in to a straight line as a golden staff appeared in her hand. She gently took Pipers hand and placed them around the staff. "This will help you on land until you are stronger with your legs." I have one more present for you. However I wont be able to give it to until we are at the palace. I have a power crystal for you. If you will wait and let me teach you. I can give you magic like mine and maybe something else." She said not wanting to get the girls hope up.

"You are very kind sweet Piper. I washed up here and the human king with his subjects took me in. It was his personal body that I had made the mistake of harboring feelings for. He didn't harbor the same ones back. I was the mermaid they whisper about that our king was to fair with. He sent his warriors after me. I was beat unconscious. The King was horrified when he realized I was still a child and the severity of my wounds. I had no memories of ever meeting Mermaids up till that point. The king tried to correct his mistake. He punished the warrior and let me stay in the palace. I was to afraid to go anywhere else. I have stayed in that room since unless summoned. The King has regretted that day just as I have. Just because you love something or someone doesn't mean they love you back Piper. Be careful with your heart, or you will end up like me. " She said as she cleared her throat.

"Now to business. The King has wrote the treaty, outlining the agreement. He has treated this like any other Kingdom meaning there is a clause in it. If any mermaid is harmed by any in his kingdom he has the right Judge them accordingly. He has promised safety and paroling. As well as our full knowledge of anything they may ask. He has also set up a clause that allows mermaids to live among the humans here in peace. This also grants them the right to sell goods under the land Kings laws. All mermaids will respect the law of the land if they do not they will be brought to the sea king.
One of the other bills includes the agreement for mermaids to accompany any ships from this kingdom. This would grant the humans safe passage in most seas. The war act covers the promise to aid the Kingdom in war if necessary, only if it is just meaning a meeting of the two Kings would occur. Only if both kings declare war shall our forces be unleashed. "
She said trying to makes sure that she hadn't missed any of the important bills or clauses. She looked to her hip where the parchment rested with the Kings very hand writing on it. "The king finds much favor in you. I'm glad he chose peace over war." She said knowing that the King could have just conquered the land.

Loki thought as they road how to approach the subject. He wasn't sure how Tallis would feel about this but not saying anything would not make him Tallis friend. He let out a heavy sigh as he made up his mind to tell him. "You know one of those mermaids is the beautiful girl you lost right? Celesia is the green haired woman's name I forgot what name you had given her here. I know things didn't end well. Are you going to be ok with this? She may not be the same person as before." He said knowing that was a understatement. He doubted the Mermaid would want to be near any of them after what happen. He was pretty sure she would not be a fan of Tallis again if ever. He could see from both sides but from her side he knew his friend was in for some pain.

"You know they gave her names. Sea dragon and Sea witch I heard from some of the others she never leaves the palace library. I'm not sure why she would come. I honestly feel something is wrong with her appearing after so long. We all searched for her but the Sea King refused any to see mermaids after that. This will be the first time in a long time any have been on land. Just be careful not to open old wounds. I don't think the barracks could stand it again." Refereeing to the smashing of things. It was bad enough the dragons stayed in their cave just behind the Barracks. He road the rest of the way in silence. After some time had past he saw two fingers come into view. He held his breath as he prayed everything would go smoothly.

Piper frowned when she heard her and kept the staff in hand, glad for the steadiness in it. Then she grew quiet as she listened to her words and story. Reaching out, she gently placed a hand on her arm, "people may hurt others by mistake, I may not know who hurt you or anything, but I am sure if you see him again things will be okay." she said as she looked at her and hoped that she was right. She didn't want her friend to have to be in pain during there stay here. But she couldn't' help but wonder who had hurt her and why. Physical pain were things that could go away but emotions were different. If you hurt someone deep down those wounds were hard to heal and never healed completely.

Hearing about the treaty she nodded as she thought of everything that they would have to talk with the king about. It would be good to finally have things in writing and then everyone could calm down between them. They would be forever allies and she personally liked the sound of it. "Peace is always better then war. I had talked with the king and advisors before and they had thought war would be better. But I managed to convince them that war isn't always the best answer. Though when they said I was to go and talk to the king himself I was surprised, I was sure he would want a advisor to go. I guess he figured it would be better if I go." she said as she thought about the days she ahd spent convincing them not to go to war. It had been a battle but she had finally made them agree to a peace treaty.

She then heard the sound of hooves and the vibrations though her staff, "I think our guards have come." she said and turned towards the voice. When it died down, she smiled at the, "Hello, it is nice to meet you both, I am Piper reef and I am here to negotiate the terms of Peace." she said and then heard the sound of someone coming closer. She wondered who it was and wondered if it was a greeting party, but no, instead it stopped in front of Celesia.

Tallis frowned when he heard Loki and gripped his rains tightly as he thought to the last time he had seen Ebony. She had looked like she had been in so much pain and he was going to run after her but the king knew if he did that war would break out. She was a mermaid, she wasn't a human, she wasn't governed by the humans and war wasn't soothing anyone wanted. After that he had torn the barracks to pieces, literally. The barracks had to be completely rebuilt because of him and even that didn't calm him down. Even Sparks could do nothing to calm him down. Staring towards the beach, he simply nodded, "ebony." was all he said, knowing he preferred that name for her then Celesia.

When he heard that he ahd been teased he gripped the rains tight causing his horse to go a little bit faster. How dare they treat her like that, she was better then all of them. He wanted nothing more then to march down to the ocean floor and beat every mermaid he could find. Though when he heard Loki he forced himself to let go of he reins as they grew closer to the beach, "no promise." he said as they finally reach the sea and all he could see was the green haired beauty he had wanted to see for years. She still looked like a sea goddess to him and slowly he slid off the horse. Sparks chirped happily when he saw Ebony and flew over, landing on her head and nibbling at her hair lovingly, glad to see his hold friend.

Tallis then slowly made his way towards her, not sure what he should do now. Opening his mouth, he found nothing coming out and then glared. HOw could he not say something to her after so long? Why was it that words were something that hated him? why couldn't' he experess himself easily, especially to someone who meant so much to him? Instantly he dropped to the ground and smashed his face into the sand before Ebony's feet. This was something that most people would never see, Tallis completely and utterly defeated without even a punch or even words. "Ebony, Sorry, so Sorry." was all he managed to say as he stayed on the ground, knowing that he didn't' deserve to talk to her, protect her, or even be close to her like this after he failed to protect her before.

Lady Chello 11-24-2014 03:37 AM

Ebony that was a name she hadn't heard in a long time. She froze as she saw Tallis. Her mind screamed run but her heart wouldn't allow her body to. She just stood there as she held her breath. She felt panic set in as Tallis moved to her. She burst out in laughter forgetting about Tallis for a moment as she felt Spark's greeting. She gently nuzzled the little dragon with her cheek before gently kissing it's head being very genital with it. Her fears vanished as she enjoyed the company of the sweet dragon. She had missed the little dragon. It made her feel like she was home just getting to see him again.
Her eyes widen as she watched Tallis try and speak. She felt pain as she watched him fall to the ground smashing the sand before her feet. She bent down as she saw the pain on his face. He had cared it was easy to see. She let out a small breath as she gently caressed his face. "Enough." Was all she said as she placed her forehead to his before kissing it. She slowly reached down and took one of his large hands compared to hers, holding it gently. She couldn't trust him again like she had before not yet. But she had made up her mind not to show him malice and kindness. She would try to bare no ill will to him and just be a friend for now. The pain he felt was written on his face and it was enough for her to know he cared.
"We must follow them. " She said as she watched Piper leave. "You protect or I'll be the one you face Loki!" She yelled out watching the other two leave. "Loki is never going to change. " She said as she laughed at the thought looking back to sparks. She gently rubbed his belly with her finger lovingly. "Who my handsome dragon? Oh I missed you." She said laughing for the first time since the day she had been taken. A light appeared in her eyes again as she changed. Happiness suited her a slight glow came from her it seemed as she played with the dragon. She forgot about her pain and everything. It was just her and the Dragon. "I wished I had one like you Sparks. " She said looking to Tallis as she gently placed Sparks on his shoulders knowing the dragon would lick him due to the playful mood she had put the small dragon in. She hoped it would make Tallis smile at the least honestly not liking the pain she saw on his face.

Loki grew nervous as he watched Tallis as they road. He quickly dismounted following his dear friend as he saw Tallis try and speak. He smiled as he saw his friend try and apologize. He hoped the two could mend their differences. His attention turned to the other mermaid. He smiled as he walked to where she was and bowed before her. "I am Loki one of the adviser and guards for the king. We welcome you to the land. Please do you mind if I lead you to a horse. I think the other ambassador and guard have something to discuss in privet. He said as he turned gently summoning the laid back horse for her.

"Excuse me Lady Piper I'm going to pick you up and help you on the horse. Please don't be alarmed. " He said as he picked her up gently placing her in the saddle. He took her feet placing them in each stirrup as he took her hands placing them around the reigns of the horse. He knew the horse wouldn't do anything stupid and would just follow behind him. However he didn't wont to chance it. He leaped on the back of the horse holding her close to him his hand around her waist as he gently took hold of the reigns and started back to the castle. "I'm sorry for being so informal, please don't take offense. We got word that you are blind. I didn't think your first time on a horse it would wise to let you ride it alone. I promise if you let me teach you to ride that you want have to worry about me ridding with you next time. " He said trying to be thoughtful knowing this was not normal behavior.

"Go ahead pet the horse gently lean forward just a little and let your hands run down it's neck. This horse is a solid black horse her name is Midnight. She is one of my favorite horses. She is sweet tempered and loves everyone she meets. If it is alright with you I am going to take you to the dragon caves. The king would like you to have a dragon with you to give you a companion and act as your eyes if that is alright with you. " He hopped that he wasn't making her uncomfortable.

Tallis was surprised when he heard her and then froze as he felt her lips on his forehead. He was sure that she would never be kind to him again but soon she was guiding him to his feet. Looking at her, he wished he could say more to her but words weren't something he was good with. Yet as he looked at her he knew that she was still the same Ebony that he loved and wanted to protect more then anything else in the world. Sadly, he had already failed the last part. When he saw her play with Sparks he smiled, glad that she didn't hold any ill will towards his dragon. He didn't' want her to hate his dragon for what he had done to her or hadn't done to her in his case. But when she laughed he couldn't' help but close his eyes, her voice still sounded like music to him and that smile was like the sun.

Once the other two were off, he chuckled as Sparks came over to him and started to lick and climb all over his face. Once the little dragon had calmed down, he looked at Ebony and nodded, "Dragon present." he said as he smiled at her, "today." he knew that the other dragons would like to see her, some had grown really big since she had left. He knew that one of them would choose her. As he looked at her he still couldn't help but feel guilt inside wishing she wasn't coming back just now. He wished he had dove into the water and hadn't of cared about the war that would have happened between the two people. If it had meant that he could have back Ebony close by he wouldn't' have cared.

Remembering how hurt she had been he found himself quickly looking her over. She looked to be okay, her skin was still beautiful and there wasn't a single scar on her skin. Letting out a sign, he looked at her and wondered what they were now exactly. Were they friends or was this a fresh start for both of them? "friends?" he asked as he looked at her, his eyes softening, "Understand if not." and he truly did. He had don't nothing for her before and had just watched as she had gotten hurt because of him. As he looked at her he remembered why he had named her Ebony, she was just as mysterious as the darkest depths of the ocean but filled with life and adventure. Knowing he should probably has more, he looked at her, "how you?"

Piper wondered what was going on between the two but felt like it should be private. So when she heard Celesia she nodded and then started to follow Loki as he lead her towards the horses. She had never felt a horse before and part of her was excited. Were they large creatures? Would they eat her? How did you ride one? all these questions swirled around in her head as she followed the nice man.

When she heard him she nodded and then felt herself being picked up. It was a odd feeling and soon she felt a large thing under her. It was strange and she could even feel it breathing under her. A second later she felt the man climb up and sit down behind her. "it is okay and it is true, I am blind. But I would agree with you, I wouldn't' trust a blind girl on a horse the first time ether but I should love to learn how to ride." she said as she reached down and started to stroke the horse. Its fur was so soft, it reminded her of of a penguin almost.

As she petted the horse, she listened to him and knew why she was his favorite, she was so sweet and kind. Yet she sat up when she heard dragons. "I get a dragon of my own? is it really okay?" she asked yet completely excited. "I had heard dragons are really big or small, is that true? do they spit fire? how many do you have? are they dangerous? how do you tame a dragon?" she then slammed a hand over her mouth. A second later she pulled her hand away, "sorry, I know I ask a lot of questions, if I ever get annoy please tell me." she said and really hopped that she hadn't annoyed him at all. He seemed like a really nice guy for taking his time with her. She then leaned back against him slightly, trusting him completely to keep her on the horse, "so, what is your kingdom like? what do you produce most here? is your king nice? who was that other guard down there at the beach? how did he know celesia?" she asked and blushed again, embarrassed that she couldn't keep her mouth shut.

Lady Chello 11-24-2014 06:27 AM

Ebony smiled at him as she laughed. "I see your speech hasn't gotten any better. You stopped your classes didn't you?" She said as she got a motherly look crossing her arms over her chest. "We agreed you would take the classes. You promised you would let the Professor tutor you. You where talking so much better before what happen? You talk almost barbaric..." She went silent as she figured she knew the reason why he had a relapse. He hung her head as she let out a breath. "We are friends." She said knowing that acquaintances wouldn't fit nor would lovers. He still had to earn her trust back before she would dare love him again, the way she once had. She smiled as she heard him talk about the dragons. "Thank you, however sparks here is enough." She smiled as she looked to the horses. She walked to where the mare was. She smiled gently petting the white horse. "I see Loki brought his favorites. How are you Snow White?" She asked as the horse nuzzled her lovingly seeming to remember her.

Ebony just laughed as she slowly put her foot into a stirrup using that leg to boost the rest of her up. She laughed happy to see she still found it natural. She slid her other foot into the other stirrup taking the rains in her hands. "Well lets see if your still the beast master." She said as she grinned gently nudging Snow White. The horse looked as if it was waiting for the command. In a moment the pair was off at full gallop. The thrill of being on a horse again made her burst out with laughter as she flew past Loki and Piper. "Catch me if you can!" She said in a playful tone as she went by.

Loki smiled as he heard all the questions coming from Piper. "Ok, let me try and answer all of your questions. Yes I'll teach you to ride. Yes the king felt you needed a seeing eye pet. We have over a hundred dragons I think. Tallis is the beast master he knows more about them than I do. Tallis is the name of the guard back there. He is really smart but has issues with speech. He is built well....like a monster I guess for a man with tattoos going down his body. But he is really kind. Tallis is the one who thought a dragon would be better for you than one of our wolves. And yes we have wolves too. Dragons come in all sized and they breath fire. Dragons can be dangerous but if they know you and love you they aren't. I don't know how to tame a dragon that isn't my department. " He said getting through her first round of questions.

He smiled and laughed hearing her. "Your not annoying your just inquisitive there is nothing wrong with that. Our kingdom is nice for the most part. Though some of the higher class is rather rude. Please ignore anything rude they may say. I kept telling the king to feed them to the dragons. The King tells me he isn't that mean to the Dragons. Something as bitter as them would taste awful. " He said laughing thinking of the King telling him that. "Our king is really nice. He is laid back and really fun to be around. We produce healing potions here due to where we are located. We have more healing plants that grow per square mile than most. Well and dragons but the king rarely lets dragons leave our kingdom unless the dragon wishes to. Oh Celesia....to us she is Ebony. Tallis is the one who found Ebony when she first washed ashore. The two hit it off and were inseparable. She had him talking as if he was born into the royal court. She made him more of a man instead of person he is now. But she has always had that effect on people. No matter how hurt or evil they are she can find away to break through. Her patience with others made her the Kings favorite. He had her helping his own children teaching them and others in our kingdom. He had even open up the palace to the public because of her. She had shown our king that kindness open more doors. The king had never been so happy he even sat in on her classes in the royal library sometimes. " He said as he went quiet not wanting to bring up bad memories. He turned his head as he heard galloping behind them.

"What in..." He pulled back as the horse slowed down, while the other horse flew past. He laughed as he saw Ebony on the back. " I see she is up to her old games. Well we can't let her win can we? Hold on we are about to fly." He said as he gently nudged his horse in the side. The horse sprinted into a full gallop catching up with Ebony rather quickly. He love feeling the wind in his hair as they hurried to catch up to Ebony. "Just because I'm doing this you better never do it!" He said meaning it. "You'll give me a heart attack. I'll teach to ride and that is it not to race."

Palmoun 11-24-2014 07:13 AM

Tallis frowned when he heard her and looked down at the ground, "no one talk." he said softly and it was true. Once use left there were very few people who would talk to him especially when they found out that he was the one who had destroyed the barracks. They ahd all thought he was some kind of monster and avoided him. Gradually all the lessons he had practiced with her stopped showing in him and he reverted back to how he was when they first found him, hardly able to talk. The only reason he had even started taking lessons was because he wanted to be able to talk to Ebony easier. Once she was gone though everything just seemed pointless.

Hearing that they were friends he smiled brightly and nodded, "friends." and then nodded again, "any time dragon." he said and hoped that she would consider it later. Dragons were a life time companion, even companions that could out live you, it was one of the reasons why they let the dragon choose there human. It only seemed right. Looking over at Snow white he smiled and patted the mares side gently, "still good." he said and then patted her nose gently. When she climbed up onto the horse he admitted that she looked right at home like how she should. When the horse didn't' move he laughed, "still like me best." and a second later she was offl. Laughing, he watched the two head off and just stood there, letting her have her fun.

A second later, he let out a high pitch whistle that seemed to echo for miles. Everything became silent for a second before all matter of roars and sounds came to him. A second later there were a line up of animals from all around the island. Smiling at them all, he looked at his choice of what to ride to catch up to them. When he saw that a Tiger had come for once he couldn't help but smile. Most would never dream of riding a tiger, then again most didn't know animals like Tallis did. walking over, he waved his hand and dismissed the other animals as he climbed not the tiger. Sucking in a breath, he let out a roar of his own that echoed just as how whistle before him and his Tiger went charging off after his friends.

Piper nodded as she listened to him, and closed her eyes as she learned about the dragons. They must be amazing creatures and she wished she could visit them now. She codlin' help but wonder if they ahd there own language and how smart they were, did they live longer then humans? She kept down her questions in fear that he would ask to many and ended up bitting her lips so that no other would come out.

Thankfully he didn't mind and she smiled, "thank you, some people int he royal court get annoyed with me." she said as she listened to him explain about Celesia, or Ebony as she was called here, and this so called Tallis. Then about the kingdom. "But why can't he talk well? I mean most mermaids and humans are taught to speek at a young age, did his parents not teach him or something?" she asked, a little worried and sad at the thought of parents not teaching a child right. She had heard about that kind of stuff happening before to children who had horrible parents. Was this one of those kids only older now? She couldn't' help but frown at the idea.

When she heard galloping coming from behind he figured that it was Tallis and Celessia. Yet when she heard Loki she frowned and then a second latter she was holding onto the horse with all her strength. When she heard him next she couldn't' help but laugh, "no promises." she said and meant it since she was starting to like how the wind blew through her hair, it made her feel alive. Yet a second latter a chill ran down her spine as she heard a roar. It sounded like a animals and she moved closer to Loki, "what was that? is it dangerous? Should I be worried?" What ever it was she found she didn't' like it and couldn't' help but wonder about Tallis, if he wasn't here was he okay? Did something attack him? Were they next on a creatures menu?

Lady Chello 11-24-2014 07:42 AM

Ebony just laughed she turned over her shoulder as she heard the roar. She cursed knowing it was going to send the horses into a panic. She quickly pressed her body flush against the horse or as flush as she could. In a mater of moments the horse was at it's max speed leaving a trail of dust. She looked up as she watched the earth rise leaving gaps as it did so. She noticed that Loki had got much stronger with his power at this point she envied him. She kept her eyes ahead over her as her skills shown still. She quickly instructed Snow to join over the gaps making it to the gate in no time. She leapped passed the guards flying through the city right to the barn. She leaped from the horse as she made sure Snowwhite was ok. She patted the horse finding a bucket of oats feeding it to her. She thanked Snow white and left once a stable hand came to take over.

She gently rubbed her stomach from the horn of the saddle digging in slightly. "Tiger well played." She said as she smiled. She noticed he was starting to talk a little better. Maybe he would start to talk normal again. She honestly wasn't sure as she made her way towards the dragon cave. She paused as she felt eyes upon her. She closed her eyes as she let out a loud howl. In a matter of moments she was surrounded by a pack of wolves. A large black wolf stepped froward obviously the alpha of the pack. She bent down as the wolf walked forward and then pounced on her like a young pup. The other wolves joined in. It look like a pack of puppies around her. She just laughed as she kissed each one greeting them. "There are my babies." She said all the wolves looking happy to hear her. She smiled as she slowly rose to her feet. "I have to go to the dragon cave. I have a friend with me please be nice to her. " She said as the wolves looked as if they knew what she told them.
The large black wolf nuzzled her hand letting her know he was her's. The other wolves bowed and headed off towards the forest. She smiled as she looked to the large black wolf. "I've missed you Fang." She said gently petting him. The pair walked to the pound as she saw Loki and Piper. " Piper this is Fang. Keep still and let him lick your hand. when he licks your hand you can pet or hug him ok." She said as she gently held Piper's hand out to he large wolves. The wolves gently sniffed Piper taking in her sent so he knew who was a friend. After a while he licked her and winning like a puppy for her attention. Wanting her to pet him. "Go ahead Fang is a wolf. He will not harm you he is a friend." She said hoping Piper would enjoy this. "Think of him as a bigger furrier stingray that just wants your loving." She said hoping that would help Piper to understand Fang.

"Dangerous yes without Tallis. Annoying more than anything." He said pressing her against the horse holding her tightly as the horse bolted scared from hearing the tiger. He close his eyes and then open them as the earth beneath them rose making a floating path as they went. The horse calmed down some as it slowed know the Tiger couldn't reach it. He kept his mind on the floating earth. Thanks to their floating road way they made it to the castle before the others. made stairs that lead them down to the barn as the earth returned back to where it had been. He slowly at up as he jumped from the horse leading it to it's stall. He cursed wanting to beat Tallis for choosing the Tiger. He knew better horses didn't do well with predators. He gently helped piper down as he made sure he placed her staff in her hands as a stable hand hurried to take care of the horse.

He gently took her head as he lead her behind the housing where the large pond was just a little ways from the entrance of the dragon cave. He stopped by the water wit her. " I'm sorry for that, if I hadn't got our horse away from the tiger we could have been injured. Here is the mermaid pond feel free to shift here. This is fresh water and there a lily pads and koi fish in there. It is well cleaned so you know. We have to wait on Tallis he is the beast master. The dragons respect him and will only allow him to enter. Or someone they trust...or he trust. I'd rather not test that though. I like not being crispy." He said trying to lighten the mood.

Palmoun 11-24-2014 03:01 PM

Tallis smield as he got there last but knew he had caused a little nuisance for his friends. Slowly sliding off his tiger he ran a finger thought its fur before the tiger headed off. When he had first brought a Tiger home to the castle everyone thought he was crazy just like the time he had visited the Dragons. Yet for animals it was almost like they treated him like one of there own. He wasn't sure if he was a animal all he knew was that it was easier to talk to animals though no one ever understood what he meant by talk. It was a odd feeling, one where you didn't' use words much and more your body. Yet whenever he had tried to teach someone to do that it would fail, maybe something was wrong with him, he wasn't exactly sure.

Seeing Ebony, he smiled, "Knew it would cause a panic." he said, remembering a few more words. Maybe if he continued to talk more he would be able to talk as well as he use too, or at least he hoped he would. He missed talking with Ebony thought the night. Yet when she paused and howled he couldn't' help but smile as he closed his eyes, he missed her howl. A second latter she was attacked by the pack and he couldn't help but laugh. There was only one exception to the rule that no one learned about animals and that was Ebony, they had taken to her just as quickly as they had taken to him. The pack then came over to him, licking his hands and pressing there nose to him before he started walking with her. "They missed you." he said softly since they had missed her just as much as he did.

As Fang payed attention to Piper he headed towards the cave. Most would never dare stand at the enternece or even go in. Yet a smile was spread across Tallis's face and a second later he let out a scream and charged in. A second later he fell back laughing as he was covered in dragon hatchlings. Slowly getting up, a few dragons popped there head out of the cave and each nuzzled Tallis as if they were caring for a hatchling. Smiling, he rubbed everyones nose back before turning to Piper, "come, meet family." he said as the hatchlings stayed on him yet all eyes were on the girl he had talked too, a curious look in all of there eyes. "be nice." he said which seemed to make it clear that it was a order. The Dragons Hatchlings all nodded as some of them lost there curiosity and slowly climbed off him and headed back into the cave.

Tallis smiled when he saw a hatchling instantly take to her and settle itself on her head. The Dragon was little but it was still young of age but she was different form the others. She was the only Silver color dragon. Nodding, he watched as the dragon chirp happily before cleaning her hair like most dragons hatchling did to there companion, it was there way of marking the human as there own. "Silver." he said as he reached out and patted the dragons head, "take care of each other."

Piper wasn't sure what was going on all she knew was that use felt higher. She wanted to ask more about what was going on and why it was dangerous without Tallis. As they got closer to the ground, she wondered exactly what was going on and then felt Loki slowly take her off the horse and a second later she heard Tallis. She was glad that he was okay and when she heard Ebony she frowned, "did Tallis ride a tiger?" she asked confused, confused as to what a Tiger was and exactly how could a man ride something that sounded so dangerous. She wanted to ask more but she then heard howling and wondered what new creature was coming after them. Instintivly she moved closer to Loki as she wondered what was going on again.

She calmed down when she heard Ebony and then she felt something close by. Staying stalk still, she wondered if it was going to bite her but a second later it was licking her hand. Smiling, she reached down and stroked it like she did with Ray. Laughing, she continued to pet the creature, "he reminds me of Ray. Sweet and kind to some but could do damage to others." she said as she continued to pet him. "So this is a wolf, they are furry little rays." she said softly as she committed it to memory, "then what is a Tiger? is it similar to a wolf? What does a wolf eat? How many wolves are here?" she asks and then forced herself not to ask anything else, they didn't' need more questions thrown at them. But then she jumped as she heard screaming.

Turning towards the sound, she wondered if everything was okay till she heard laughing. Frowning, she looked around, "what happened now?" she asked and then she heard chirping sounds and wondered exactly what was going on till she heard Tallis. MOving forward slowly, the chirping grew quieter and she frowned, "uh, hello?" she asked and then jumped as she felt something land on her. Reaching out, she felt something scaly on her head and a second later something licked her hand. "uh, nice to meet you?" she wasn't exactly sure what was going on but she heard the little created chirp again before she felt it messing with her hair. When she heard Tallis she smiled, "it is nice to meet you silver, I am in your care." she said and then heard the little dragon chirp happily.

Ebony just smiled as she watched Tallis. She slight frown as she remembered playing with the dragons. She kept her distance not wanting to take away from Piper. She wasn't here for her pleasure she was here for the treaty. She composed herself as her demeanor changed. She smiled as she kept her distance turning as she heard foot steps approaching. She saw it was a Kings messager. She saw the the strange looking man looked her and Piper over before reading the paper he carried. " Here Yee Here Yee. The King wishes to have a audience with thee. " The young man said sounding rather nervous, not from the mermaids but from having to read the paper out loud. She smiled as she watched the man bow and leave.

She slowly made her way to Piper as she smiled at Silver. " Take my arm please. I'll help guide you. " She said knowing that Piper would feel her bow when she did. She gently began to lead Piper to the large palace. She helped piper up the front steps. They would be the only issue Piper might have. The rest of the first floor was all flat. Ebony lead her to the thrown room where she waited for their presence to be announced. She slowly steeped forward with Piper stopping just before the thrown. She gently tugged at Pipers arm bowing to the king. She rose as the King greeted them. She kept her eyes on the floor as she stood there allowing Piper to shine. The man greeted them and let them know they would be staying in the building with Tallis and Loki. The king explained that they had a room with a large pool on the inside in hopes a mermaid would come one day. The king hugged each girl and let Ebony know he was glad to see her again. He let her know her things would be in her old room.

She didn't saw a word other than bowing as he turned leading Piper to the housing. She noticed that it seemed new. She didn't ask for directions but Loki joined them acting as their guide. She followed Loki up the stairs helping Piper making sure she put Piper first. She smiled as Loki open two large doors that open to a white palace. It looked like the Mediterranean palaces on the inside. There was a large pool in the middle enough for a mermaid to lay in and sleep if she wanted. She smiled as she lead Piper to the pool. "It is a pool for you. Why don't you spend some time here and I'll come by later before dinner for you." She said turning not waiting for a response.

She walked back down the stairs as she saw the old oak door with the carvings on it. She ran her hands along the carvings as she noticed it was new. The door was made to look like her old one. She slowly open the door as she walked in. She felt a wall of emotions hit her as she saw all of her old things. The room was new but every detail looked identical to the original. She wonder who had put such detailed into recreating it. She frowned as she saw all her things. She saw the picture above the fireplace opposite the large bed. A tear hit the floor as she stared at the picture. Lokie had painted it long ago. She saw the heart shaped necklace that was once hers. She looked around as she couldn't find it. The necklace had been the only thing she treasured she wasn't sure why she still wanted it. It had been a gift from Tallis and the symbol he loved her. She cried as she remember Tallis just walking away bringing up the anger in her heart. She saw her old knife on the mantle as she reached out slashing at the picture out of rage. It showed the lie that could never be. She let out a soft scream as she felt pain in her left arm. She looked down as blood poured from it. She looked as she saw the knife covered in her blood. She feel to the floor as she looked around not seeing any other option. She whipped the blood with her clothing holding the knifes blade over the fire that was going. She removed it once she saw the blade glowing. She closed her eyes as she bite her tongue as the hot blade met her flesh. She tried not to scream as the pain ran through her body. She let the knife fall to the stone floor as she cried from the pain. She looked to her newly scorch flesh as she somehow made her way to the sink. She turned on the water as she placed her arm under it letting out a soft scream from the pain.

She let one of her tears hit her wound as the magic from the tear helped to ease the pain. She looked in the armoire where she was some old strips of fabric as she wrapped her arm. She looked around as she saw the closet. She saw some dresses as she managed to change herself into one. She found a pair of arm lengthen silk gloves. She put them on covering her wound completely. She burned her dress after cleaning the blade with it not wanting anyone knowing she had been stupid. She burned the picture not wanted to remember what had been. She took the knife and washed it before placing it back on the mantel. Bye the time she was done it was near dinner. She paused as she saw the door near the fireplace that lead to Tallis room. He had put it in so he could keep a eye on her when she first came. She felt a flash of anger as she threw out her hands as water from the sink rushed to the door forming a barrier over it as a light came from it. When it faded a wall of rock blocked the door. She walked to the chest she had put her surprise for piper in. She grabbed it and headed off to find Piper.

Loki wasn't sure what was going on. He was lost in the confusion not that it took much. He smiled as he saw the small dragon land on Pipers head. "I think you have a new friend." He said happy to see her getting along so well with the dragon. He looked up as he saw the messager. Before he could say anything he watched Ebony take charge. " I...." he didn't get to finish he would take Piper and look after her. By the time he looked around Ebony was gone with Piper. He looked to Tillas as he wondered what had happen. Ebony wasn't so care free. He rolled his eyes as he ran after the pair. By the time he caught up he found them leaving the palace. He followed then took over as he showed them to Pipers room. He smiled loving the room it felt clam.

He turned as he watched Ebony leave not really giving any one a chance to object. He looked to Piper as he wondered if she was ok everything had happen so fast. "I'm sorry for the chaos. " He finally said as he stood there not sure how to help. "You know we have a library in the palace you are free to use. If you would like I can take you and read to you. If you would like I can get you some tea or something for you to snake on. Your little silver might like it. " He said not sure what he was suppose to do. He didn't really want to leave her but what else was he suppose to do.

Tallis wanted to spend some more time out there and let Ebony see the dragons yet the messenger came. Before he knew it she was running away form him and he was just following her. Things were defiantly different now. Ebony wasn't as fun or carefree, she was like trapped inside herself. Frowning, he wished he knew of a way to let her relax and enjoy herself here but he wasn't sure what he could do.

Following her and piper to there rooms he kept his face towards the ground. He always felt ashamed for this part of the castle, he had destroyed every piece of it. He had scared enough of the servant sand guards that he ahd been the only person in the wing. They always marveled at how a simple man could destroyed solid pieces of wood and wondered if he had the dragons help with the claw marks that appeared in the wood as well. No one knew, no one except for Tallis and he didn't' want to remember that. After he had destroyed everything he had remade it. He had carved each piece of food, helped eat each thing into place to make it look like the old one, but it wasn't the old one.

He didn't' stick around long once the girls went into there rooms, instead he went to his own. After the incident the royal court had deemed him to dangerous to be living in the castle and instead now he had his own cave dedicated to himself outside close to the dragons. This rooms as now his work shop. Looking around, it was filled with little trinkets that he had made. Things that looked like a jeweler had made them and on the wall was the neckless. It looked different now then it did before since he had accidentally damaged it in his rampage. He never thought he would have a chance to give it back to her so he slowly and carefully remade it. Where there had been cracks he had used gold to fill it. It now looked beautiful.

Gently taking it into his hands, he decided it was about time to give it back to her. She may not like him or trust him but he still wanted her to have it. Heading over to the door that joined there rooms, he tried to open it but found it was blocked. sighing, He should have figured that she had blocked him out. Heading out of the room, he went off in search of her as he kept the neckless close. He didn't want to break it again or break this very fragile friendship he had with Ebony. If all he ever had with Ebony was friendship he wanted to treasure it for the rest of his life.

Piper was surprised at how quickly everything was gone now that her mind was spinning by the time that they were in her room. She knew she had made a good impression on the king or at least tried too. He had seemed like a kind old man and she hoped that she would enjoy her time there for now. But she worried about Ebony, she seemed to have mixed feelings about everything here and she wished she would loosen up. Sighing, she just stood there till she heard Loki, "I kind of expected it to be chaotic since anything involving peace and war is." she said as she gently took Silver off of her head and ran her fingers over the little creature.

Hearing about the library she smiled and nodded, "I would like that a lot or you could just tell me aoub the kingdom more. Either way I would be happy but I think Silver would like a snack." she said just as the little dragon chirped in her arms as if agreeing. Holding out a hand, she smiled, "So please lead the way to the library. I may not be able to read but I love the feeling of a book in my hands. what kind of books does your library hold? what is your favorite book?" she asked, trying to hold back from more questions.

Ebony felt bad seeing that Piper and Loki had something going. However she needed to give Piper her power crystal. Opening her hand a large clear crystal sat in her hand. She had learned about power crystals from Tallis. The rest she had researched and learned herself. She had spent so much time making this crystal for Piper. It was one matter to awaken someones power it was another to give sight. She had managed after many failed attempts to create the perfect crystal. She slowly walked into the room. "Excuse me Lokie I need to speak with Piper before you go." She said as she watched Loki nod and leave. She knew he was waiting for Piper just outside the door.

Walking up to Piper she held the crystal out gently placing Pipers hand on the crystal. A bright light exploded from the room as it vanished so did the crystal. A small crystal appeared embedded in Pipers forehead. It changed colors becoming a beautiful green. "I made this for you upon the request of the king. Every mermaid has her own magic sometimes we just need help accessing it. This crystal will awaken your powers. If you open your eyes you should gain a form of sight. I am sorry I couldn't give you sight. I worked day and night. Sadly I wasn't able to restore your full sight. You should have magical sight though. Most of your magic will be focused so you can see the magical realm. You should be able to see everyone for what they truly are on the inside. You should be able to read books and everything. I will let you go. I hope it works correctly." She said feeling strange just standing there. She slowly turned as she excused herself again. She moved through the halls as she almost ran into Tallis.

She slowly looked up as she saw him. She knew she needed to get the anger off her chest to move on she had to know why. " Tallis...I have to know why you didn't stand up for me. I will forgive you but I need to know why. You said you loved me but that wasn't shown. Is that honestly what love is? If you didn't care about me then...you should have just been honest with me. I understand it was my fault for believing someone could love me. I should have never stayed here in the first place. I will try not to fault you we where both young and stupid. Some of us more than others referring to herself. I loved you Tallis and would have followed you to the ends of the earth. But in the end you didn't feel the same way did you?" Honestly asking him how he had felt. She went quiet allowing him the right to yell at her and defend himself if he needed to . She wanted to get this over with so they could move on. In all honestly she wanted to go back to being happy

Loki smiled as he heard Piper he was going to lead her out of the room when he heard Ebony. He simply bowed, "I'll be right outside when you are ready." He said as he waited outside. He jumped as he saw a bright light he wondered what happen. He slowly walked in wondering if Piper was even alive. He didn't see anything different as he walked in. Piper looked to be unharmed what was that light from. "Piper are you ok I saw a bright light. What did Ebony want? " he said honestly worried more about Piper. Ebony was acting really strange he wasn't sure if she Ebony or a impostor. He hoped she would turn out to just be tired and back to normal soon. His attention on Piper looking her over wondering what had happen.

Tallis was about to give her the neckless when she started to lecture him. He just listened to her as he remembered that day. At the time he was worrying about other things. Some of his memories from the past were starting to come back and it had been awful. The past was mixing with the present at times and he couldn't' figure out what was really going on. He wanted help, he wanted to talk to someone but wasn't sure what they would say if he actually told them. They already feared him enough as it was. He was about to tell Ebony when everything went to pieces. At first he was shocked, not sure if this was a vision of the past or something. But then when she was knocked out he knew it was real and went to attack but the king had told him not too.

ONce she was done, he reached out and gently touched her cheek, "always the same." he said softly as he stroked her cheek, the pain in his eyes clear and also deep love even after all these years. Closing his eyes, he put a hand on his temple, "my mind, messed up and wasn't sure if it was real or not. when realized it was tried to act, king said no. wanted too, should have. So sorry." He said as he looked down at the ground feeling so horrible about it. He wished he remembered how to talk more so that he could actually form a better sentence for her, one that made more sense. "Felt bad, wanted to go after you, wouldn't allow to go since no war." he said and then looked at her, clear as day that he cared for her.

Reaching out, he gently put the neckless on her. "Never let you go, never again. even if only friends stay by side, never get hurt again." he said as he touched her cheek once more time and stroked it with his thumb, "Protect forever." he said as he looked into her eyes and then wondered what else he was suppose to say. He really did mean it though, even if she didn't' want him to be with her he would protect her till he couldn't. It was the least he could do after failing. Letting his hand drop he then just stood there, unsure of what he should do now. Should he leave her alone and let her think about what he was trying to say? did he make enough sense to her?

Piper was ready to go when she heard Ebony come into the room. Looking at her, she listened to her words and then nodded, "even if I don't get my sight back I am fine. I haven't seen for years but being able to see a glimpse would be wonderful." she said not really caring if she truly saw the word or not. After years of darkness she had gotten use to it. Darkness was actually comforting at times but she thought it was sweet that Ebony wanted to do something for her even if it was the order of the king. She didn't' have to make it for her.

Feeling something cold being pressed onto her skin it then seemed to heat up. Each second she stood there colors started to swirl around in the darkness to the point she had to lean on her stick a bit, slightly dazzles by everything. Before she could say anything else she saw a color moving away from her, or colors. It looked dark and light blue mixing together and even though it stepped outside the room she could sense her now. She sensed the blues mixing more into a sort of black. Frowning, she wondered what was going on, was that Ebony? was she okay? And who was the mess of rainbow next to her?

She then heard a kind voice and jumped slightly as she saw a bright yellow mixed with reds and blues show up to her. "Loki? is that you?" she asked as she moved closer to him, reaching out she touched the color to find skin under her hands. In her visions she saw her own hand, a green mixed with a bright blue. Looking down at her hand she flipped her hand over and over again. "I can see" she whispered slightly and then looked up at Loki, "Ebony just gave me sight, i can see." she said not sure if she believed it. It may not be the sight that everyone else had but she could see thing. She could find her way without having to ask for help. She then laughed, "I can see or at least see a bit." Hearing a chirp she felt Silver climb onto her arm and then she saw it, Silver as Silver. Reaching out she stroked the little dragon still in aww of being able to see colors at least.

Ebony froze as she heard him. Her cheeks blushed a bight crimson, feeling him stroking her cheeks. She looked down to the necklace as she smiled seeing that it had suffered damage. She looked back to him as she smiled at him a small tear moved down her cheek. She stepped forward as she wrapped her arms around his neck holding him close. She softly kissed his cheek as she closed her eyes still hugging him. His intoxicating sent engulfed her as she rested her head on his shoulder. She had no intention of moving from him. She had missed him more than she liked to admit. All she had ever wanted to know was why and if he truly loved her. She found comfort in know he did. She felt the pain start dissolve as she just hugged him. She slowly open her eyes as she finally pulled away. She had noticed he had a hard time it looked like with his memories. She softly moved a stray hair from his face smiling softly at him.

“Your still having trouble with your memories aren’t you?” She asked as she knew the answer already. She stood there not sure what to do. She didn’t know what to say as she gazed into his eyes. After a moment she leaned in closing her eyes as she kissed him passionately on the lips. She let her heart win. Maybe he would understand how she felt this way. She had pain from what happen but her heart was still his. It had never stopped being his. She could spend the rest of her life under the water alone. Or she could accept the fact she would always love him no matter what happen to herself. She slowly pulled away for the passionate kiss as she blushed brighter. “I wont leave you again. I will try and help you all I can. I promise to help you always.” She said meaning it as the love shown on her face for him. She looked like she did on the shore happy. She had let her doubt go and allowed her heart to open again. Maybe their love would be like the necklace. Maybe it would fill in the cracks in their hearts and make them works of art.

Ebony beamed with happiness as she turned hearing Piper. She looked back to Tallis as she took his hand in hers. “ It looks like she can see. Your lessens on crystals paid off. I always had the best teacher.” She said to him gently lacing her finger with his as she smiled. “We should let her meet you now that she can see. Unless you would like to wait. “ She said not sure how he would take her advances. She hoped he understood she wanted to be his again and let go of the past to start over together. She wanted to be more than friends, because no matter what either of them said they always were.

Loki smiled as he heard Piper. He was amazed that she could see. “How did she do that? Congratulations! “ He said happy for her honestly. He was amazed what Ebony had done for the girl. It must have taken man months to master. He knew Ebony didn’t like magic and for her to do this it was amazing. Ebony had always tried to hide her magic always saying it came with a price she didn’t want to pay. In all honesty she had more magical potential than most. But instead of embracing her gift she ran from it. He wondered how she managed to create the crystal seeing the crystal now embedded in Pipers forehead. This was skills past a mear beginner level. There were masters who couldn’t make power gems. He wondered why she had faced her fear of Magic for Piper. What made Piper so special that the screaming girl he knew finally faced her fear.

Loki had discovered Ebony had magical powers almost immanently but when he tried to tap into them she was scream in terror and refuse to use them. Her fear of magic was so great she cowered at any. It had taken him months to just be near him because she felt his power. Everyone thought something awful must have happen to her as a child. Ebony like Tallis had no memory of her past, however she did know magic was evil. He had often wonder if someone had once used her magic by making her do something horrific. Her sweet nature couldn’t handle the aftermath and forced her into her state. When she had washed up on the shores she had marking on her body looking as if she had been part of some powerful ritual. He had never spoke with Tallis about this figuring Ebony would never remember. Her mind held the secret so tight that Ebony herself couldn’t remember if she tried. Of the pair though Ebony was the less damaged goods. She seemed to cope with her memory loss adopting the view her past wasn’t important.

Now looking at Piper he wondered what had changed. She had been so against any magic now she mastered power crystals. He smiled happy for Piper she was so kind he knew she deserved it. He shook his head as he noticed himself staring at her admiring her simple beauty. He turned his head as he tried not to let her see he had been gawking at her. He tried to clear his head as he looked back and smiled. “ Then I guess you want be needed me to escort you to the library.” He said in a playing tone hoping to get a laugh form her. “Now that you can see your above a simple land boy like me.” He said acting depressed just giving her a show. He batted his eyes at her and stuck out his lower lip making sure he was over the top for her.

Palmoun 11-25-2014 02:37 AM

Tallis had feared her walking away from him and was ready for her to leave him. But when he felt her arms around him he instantly pulled her close to him. His eyes then closed as he felt her kiss and he wondered if he could just hold her like this forever. after years of not seeing her and just wanting to hold her close again he got it and he wasn't going to let her go anytime soon. Everything about her was just as enchanting as before, something that he doubt she would ever lose. TO him she would be the perfect blend of every color and feeling. When you mixed everything together you got black, the perfect mix of everything.

When she finally pulled away he nodded, "Memory coming back slowly, not fun." he said as he thought back on them and wished he could just forget it, he didn't wish to remember. But no matter how much he wanted too his mind seemed to think it was better that he remembered. The worry over his memories churned in his stomach till he felt lips on his. They were familiar and just as intoxicating as before. Wrapping his arms around her he pulled her as close to him as he could. When they pulled away he pressed his forehead to hers and smiled when he heard her. Those were the words he had always wanted to hear and to know that she wasn't leaving him. Kissing her one last time, he slowly let go of her, "All i have ever wanted."

When he heard the cheering he wondered what was going on till he heard Ebony. "Glad I taught you." he said as he smiled at her remembering that they had taught each other. He had taught her about how to make crystals and she ahd taught him now to talk better. As long as he got to be with her he didn't' care. Though when h thought about going to see Piper he shook his head, "let her settle, very new feeling and need to explore." he said since he remembered the first time he woke up here. He was so curious about everything and he couldn't' imagine what it would be like to e blind and have sight again. Looking down at Ebony, he smiled and instantly picked her up into his arms, "mine for now." he said as he walked down the hall towards one of there favorite spots in the palace. For now he just wanted to be close to Ebony, he didn't care about anything else right now.

Piper still was in shock as she hard him and slowly looked around her body, trying to find that gem that Ebony had given her. As she ran her hands ofer her face she felt it, a slight dump on her forehead and she couldn't' help but smile, "a crystal." she said before looking over at Loki, "she gave me a crystal, one more powerful then I have ever seen before." and it was true. Crystals were powerful and dangerous, only a few even dared to try to make powerful crystals like this. She had never even know that Ebony knew how to make something like this. Sure, she knew that she was gifted in the art of magic but not to this degree.

Breathing deeply, she forced herself to calm down but each time she looked around more colors filled her eyes. It was so exciting and she knew that she was probably smiling like a idiot. She wished that Ebony hadn't run off because she wanted to talk to her about the crystal. What did it allow her to see? why was everything in such a variety of color? would it change over time? would the crystal ever stop working? Could she see forever? She wasn't sure but she knew that the next time she was alone with Ebony she would be talking her ear off.

Smiling, she then turned to Loki and couldn't' get over that he was yellow. "I want the company of course." she said and then chuckled as she watched him try to be all sad or at least she was sure it was sad. "after being blind for so long I am use to having company all around me all the time. It would actually be really weird if I didn't have someone come along with me." she said as she walked over to him. "But first I want a tour of everything, can you show me your favorite places? can you show me the kitchen? can you show me a horse again? I want to see everything." she said more excited then ever before. She wanted to see everything she could now and experience what she had thought she had lost.

Lady Chello 11-25-2014 06:19 AM

Ebony blushed brighter as she felt his embrace. Her blush only grew once he returned her own Kiss. She smiled gently caressing his face hearing his response. "You all I want as well." She said softly kissing the tip of his nose in a loving manner. She smiled brightly just happy to be with him. Her mind shifted to Piper until she felt Tallis pick her up. She peered up to him hoping she wasn't going to put his back out. No she wasn't heave like some females but still lifting a human would hurt anyone's back. "You don't have to carry me. " She said before nuzzling his chest closing her eyes as she felt safe again. The last years she hadn't slept like she knew she could now.

Ebony blushed again as she thought about his words to her. "mine for now." She couldn't help but smile as she thought about the magical words. She slowly leaned up and kissed him again not wanting to honestly be anywhere but with him. After a moment she wondered where they were going. Were they going to the forest maybe with some of his animals. To the dragon cave, to his work shop,to the city, she honestly had no idea at this point. She gazed back at him wondering how she could help him if she could. Tallis wasn't like normal people if there was honestly such a thing. He was strong, smart, brave, and of course ruggedly handsome. But there was more to him than people gave credit for. She knew his heart if he had ever killed a man they deserved it. Tallis had anger issues but who doesn't in all honestly. However not many people can feel the intense emotions he could. She wondered if he would be ok with her being back. Though she feared it would bring back painful nightmares that would end in something being damaged.

Loki just grinned as he heard Piper. He gently brushed her cheek moving wisp of hairs from her face. He blushed slightly as he prayed she couldn't see his blush. He couldn't help himself as he saw Silver taking interest in what he had done. He gently tickled the little dragon as he watched it laugh of shorts. His eyes met Pipers as he reached for her hand. "If I may escort you my lady. " He then thought about what he just said as he put his hand down. "Why don't you escort me instead. This is after all your first time here. I do believe you just gained your sight, therefore follow your eyes and take me where you wold like to go. " He said as he smiled looking forward to spending time with Piper.

Loki wondered what color he was to her as he thought about what had said. "Piper what color am I?" He asked more curious than anything. He hoped he wasn't black like many seem to think he was. Sometimes he received ridicule from others about his own powers. Loki wasn't given to him originally for his personality, it was for fear he gained the name. Most of the city people feared his magic afraid of him becoming like the Norish God. It was something that bothered him for years. He peered out the balcony of Pipers room as he got a evil grin. "Let's fly on second thought." He said as he gently picked Piper up now caring her. He walked to the balcony as a large gust lifted them. In a matter of moment they where in the air.

Loki felt at peace as they flew high among the clouds. This was his home he smiled as he looked down knowing this would be a treat for Piper. She could see things and ask him about them at the same time. Besides he was sure this would give her bragging right among the Mermaids. How many could say they flew. For some reason he found the thought unsettling of her leaving in. He wasn't sure why he felt upset. He pressed her frail body against his own hoping it reassure her she was safe.
"What do you think Princess?" he said out of respect to her. She was a Princess here among men. She had the attributes every dream princess had. She was the perfect princess in his mind. "Now you can see the entire kingdom from here." He said to her hoping she would enjoy herself.

Palmoun 11-25-2014 06:53 AM

Tallis smiled as he held her close to him and just continued to walk. Chuckling when he heard her he simply shook his head as he felt her nuzzle his chest. "I want too." If it meant that he could hold her close like this he would carry her all day. He would carry her though the halls, to dinner, to see piper, and anywhere else she wanted to go. As long as he knew that she was safe in his arms he was never going to let go of her. Feeling her kiss he paused in mid step and kissed her back without a second though. Years of not being able to made it clear to him that if she was going to kiss him he was going to kiss back no matter what he was doing.

After a little while they came to a nice clearing close to the dragon cave. Sitting down, he set Ebony down as he relaxed and smiled at her, "peaceful." was all he said before kissing her cheek and wrapping his arms around her. This was all he wanted for now, peace, quiet, and Ebony close to him. This was heaven to him. Closing his eyes he wondered if he could just block out everyone form this place so that he could have this peace forever. In the years that she had been gone he had never felt this at peace before and knew he could only find it with her. Opening his eyes, he looked at her in the eyes and smiled, "I love you." he stated simply because he wanted to say it at least once. He could say a a bunch of different ways but those three words were the one he knew would be something she wanted to hear. "do what ever you want." he said before kissing her head and it was clear he was the happiest man in the world now.

Piper felt something on her cheek but only for a second but then she saw Lokie playing with Silver and smiled. She was glad that the two got along. Though when she heard him she smiled, "I would drove to explore." she aid and couldn't' believe she was actually going to be escorting someone for a change. She had never dreamed that she would be able to do that but now she could. "where would you like to go? which way should we start?" she asked, her excitement clear now as she tried not to jump around like a idiot.

Yet her excitement cooled when she heard him and she thought for a second, "your like a big yellow spot with pits of red and pink if that makes sense." she said as she smiled at him, "Ebony it a mix of dark and light blues. But then this one is weird, I think Tallis is a rainbow." she said and knew that she probably sounded crazy. Sure, one color made sense, maybe two but a rainbow that always changed was weird. "can I ask who Tallis is? I mean why can't he talk very well and he seems kind of… odd if that makes sense or is that just how he is?" Even now everything seems to stay the same couple of colors but not Tallis. Why?

Whens he heard him she squeaked as he picked her up and she saw it this time. She saw the color of the ground growing further away. Wrapping her arms around Loki, she stuck close to him. At first she kept her eyes closed but when she felt him press her close to him she figured it was safe. Slowly she started to open her eyes and once they were opened she couldn't' close them. She could see everything, she saw the castle painted in colors of different greys, the water seemed to sparkle blue and silver, the grass shined green. It was amazing. Pointing towards the dragon cave she smiled, "I can see Ebony and Tallis." They were together and it was actually hard to distinguish who was who since there ecolors seemed to be swirled together.

"I love it." she said and blushed a little at being called a princess. She wasn't a princess hew as just a mermaid sent to be a peace keeper. "I love seeing everything up here. What is that place over there that is all bright green? Why is a section of the castle looking purple? What is that mess of colors over there." and each place she mentioned she pointed at. She wanted to know what everything meant and where everything was. She just hopped that she didn't' annoy Loki too much. She knew her questioning was a little annoying at times. She had even been yelled at by the royal court more the once when she was questioning them about the new ruling they ha decided to put out.
