Sam grinned at that. "One of those, huh?" he asked with a knowing look. "That's good."

"She seems okay," Steve offered. "A bit... Intense, maybe."

"She's a dragon," Gemma pointed out. "Intense is kind of par for the course, I've gathered." She shrugged a bit. "It's manageable. She'll mellow out again once the bond settles with... Barnes, right?"

"Right. Is she normally more mellow with you?" Sam asked.

"And does she usually go around accosting fellas?" Steve asked with a little grin.

"Normally she's more mellow," Gemma said, nodding. "Kind of affectionate. She's not a big hoarder like I've heard other dragons are."

"Good," Sam said. "You seem to like her so that's a good start, at least. Maybe next time we'll bring Barnes by, too. See how he does."

"Sure," Gemma said, grinning. She wrote down her number on a bit of paper and held it out. "Give me enough warning, and I might even be able to close up shop for a few hours and swing tea for everyone."

"Sounds good," Sam said with a grin. "Whose idea was the shop, anyway?"

"Hm?" Gemma blinked. "Oh, the shop is mine. I figure I might as well turn what I know into a living, right?"

"Sounds like a good plan to me," Sam agreed with a smile. "And if it works for you, whatever works."

Steve snorted quietly at Sam, although he was looking around the shop with interest. "So how do you know so much about all this?" he asked, making a vague motion at the shop.

"What, me?" Sam asked. He shook his head. "Nothing, man. Not my thing." He grinned a bit and tilted his head. "Bet she'll talk with you, she owns the place."

Steve shook his head a bit, because he didn't even know where to start. Researching a bit first was good, usually.

"Thank you for your time," he said instead to Gemma. "We'll be sure to let you know next time before we drop in."

"Not a problem," Gemma said. She smiled. "Glad to have you. Come back any time."

Steve nodded, smiled a little, and left. That had been enlightening, at least. And now they could talk to Bucky, too.

"So what did you think?" Sam asked as they headed back to the tower.

"I'm not entirely sure yet," Steve said. "She seems nice enough, and things should be okay if the dragon-lady actually calms down, like Gemma said. But I think it'll take time, and Buck..." He hesitated a moment. "He's still not all Bucky, yet. I'm not sure if this'll help him or not."

"Just gotta take it one step at a time," Sam said, nodding. He was quiet for a moment. "Though I wonder, she said that dragon-lady liked special people. Wonder what makes her special?"

"Dunno," Steve said, blinking. "I hadn't thought about it before." He shrugged. "I guess we'll have to ask sometime."

"Next time," Sam agreed, nodding. "Come on, let's go see if Clint managed to get Bucky to play video games."

Steve couldn't help but grin a bit at that, because he knew that once Bucky started on video games, he might not stop for a while.

Kenzie yawned a bit as she made her way down into the shop to drape herself across Gemma. "We had visitors?" she asked.

"Those two from earlier stopped by," Gemma said as she moved a bit to get more comfortable. "New-guy's friends. I answered some questions for them."

"Ah. Anything interesting?" Kenzie did pay a bit more attention, though.

"Not really," Gemma replied. "Just some things about what hoarding means and why him in particular."

"Ah." Kenzie settled in, satisfied. "I'm a little disappointed I missed them, although you likely did a better job answering their questions than I would have."

"They didn't stay long," Gemma said. She stretched a little. "They might be back soon, though, so maybe next time."

"Maybe," Kenzie said. "Especially if they actually bring Barnes with next time. I'm worried I might have startled him too much."
