Fair enough! I was asking anyway just in case, as there wasn't mention of cards at the front. [:D]

Comments: Today is the Winter Solstice on the Chinese calender, so to celebrate, I made myself dumplings in soup (tong yuen)! They can be eaten either savoury or sweet, but my family traditionally makes them in sweet, ginger broth. Culturally, they are eaten together with family, and the round balls and bowl signify family together during these special days. I ran out of cane sugar blocks, so I made do. These dumplings are filled with sweet red bean. They also come in a variety of other fillings like peanut, black sesame, and others. [:)]

BellyButton 12-22-2014 03:11 PM

Neat dish, Iro! I wish I could taste that broth. [drool]

star2000shadow 12-22-2014 03:34 PM

Comments: What Christmas holiday is complete without a little wine and some candles... and a creepy Santa winking at you ;)

BellyButton 12-22-2014 11:52 PM

Aww, that looks really nice. I like the bunnies - kind of nixes out the creepiness of the Santa winks. ;D

edit: BUTWAIT.. Is that a mounted Santa head on the wall? [lol]

Liquid Diamond 12-23-2014 12:18 AM

Yes!!! I killed him... no Christmas this year [twisted]

BellyButton 12-23-2014 12:36 AM

Haha! Well, well. I'll have to be careful if I'm ever invited over for dinner. [lol]

Comments: This is our table centerpiece. :3 Hanukkah started last week, so we've got a few more days left. I had fun trying to get a good angle on this thing - it took some maneuvering! Happy Holidays, and thanks for this little thread. ;)

How beautiful! Oh and a dreidel! I wanna play! HAPPY HANUKKAH!

Esmme 12-23-2014 02:19 AM

*purrs and nuzzles* Why thank you! :D Happy Hanukkah, and the like to you as well! That entire tray is full of dreidels that we collect throughout the years. There are a few crocheted ones as well! I love the tradition. Makes it fun. ♡

Shadami 12-23-2014 03:22 AM

i made an ornament... out of cardboard and a coloring book >.> does that count?

BellyButton 12-23-2014 03:30 AM

Yes, Shadami, sure! :)

Nephila 12-23-2014 03:32 AM

I have a savory dish to share!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...psbbb01e72.jpg
Comments: We usually have quiche, scotch eggs and rice pudding on christmas day. This one I made early to test because it's a carbless one so no shell. I wanted to see if it was good enough for christmas and it's not bad. It's wrapped in bacon so really how can you go wrong. XD

BellyButton 12-23-2014 03:36 AM

Groovy - looks yummy! I've never attempted scotch eggs, shell or no. :)

Nephila 12-23-2014 03:37 AM

It's getting harder to find the right kind of sausage and I'm not quite that hardcore to make my own. XD

---------- Post added 12-22-2014 at 09:43 PM ----------

I made something to drink!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ps2c846deb.jpg
Comments: So this was originally suppose to be a Virgin Grasshopper inspired by Hummy. I reached for the wrong food coloring and made an Elsa Shake instead. Ice cream, mint extract, ice, milk and blue food coloring. An Oops but still minty and tasty. XD

Inspired By Cora and Milos!

I brought sweets!

Comments: Milos Horns! XD I used a christmas tree shape and cut off the trunk to make horns. It's make from Marzipan with Nutella in the center and covered in chocolate.

Shadami 12-23-2014 04:03 AM

oh yay!!! i shall picture it tomorrow.. with my phone. cause i don't know where my camera went >.<

Esmme 12-23-2014 04:47 AM
