What happened after that?

liquidrage 12-26-2014 06:04 AM

I walked home and now I'm going to try playing the Destiny demo.

Acobjum 12-26-2014 06:08 AM

You have fun with your game. Hope things work out for you. I'm off to bed.

liquidrage 12-26-2014 06:08 AM

Goodnight, hope you sleep well.

Let there be life!

sadrain 12-26-2014 12:21 PM

When ever I see Sass Queen I think of Regina The Evil Queen from Once Upon A Time. [gonk]

xuvrette 12-26-2014 02:14 PM

How is the thread without me?

sadrain 12-26-2014 02:34 PM

Rather quiet, I'd say.

xuvrette 12-26-2014 02:54 PM

I know it.

Okay, continue on our topic of stories.
Do you have an idea what your ending would be when you write the story? or until what stage you would get the picture of ending?

sadrain 12-26-2014 03:02 PM

Oh wow, now that's a difficult question.
Honestly, I have bad experience with stories, at least that aren't really short ones. I have vague idea what I want to do with it and of the ending, but I rarely reach it.
With RPs it's similar, mostly they die before they get there! But I know what I am pushing for. In most cases.
I think, best thing is to map out your whole story. The general events you want to include in each chapter, the ending, the character development points and so on, if you're really serious about the story. That's how some people I know that are very good at storytelling do it. Of course, it's not like super set in stone and things may change, but you at least have an idea what you're going for.

xuvrette 12-26-2014 03:10 PM

I see... in theory, you feel it is better to have a general guideline to work for.
But... in practice, do you do that?

Elirona 12-26-2014 03:35 PM

Morning, homies! [eager]

xuvrette 12-26-2014 03:40 PM

Homies?

sadrain 12-26-2014 03:49 PM

Xuvrette, as I said, I have some points to hold to. Not as detailed as some people make, but I know what I'm heading for. Mostly. If I don't, then I can't write, haha.

xuvrette 12-26-2014 03:58 PM

Good, good.
I started off as a spontanous pantser. Unfortunately, only 2 of my 20+ stories get finished... high failure rate.
This witch prince knight priestess story is the first one that I define the ending well. Hopefully it will work.

Elirona 12-26-2014 04:02 PM

Yes, homies. :3c

xuvrette 12-26-2014 04:04 PM

I wonder how this word homies came about?

Elirona 12-26-2014 04:05 PM

Good question! I have no idea. :3

xuvrette 12-26-2014 04:07 PM

What does it means?

Elirona 12-26-2014 04:09 PM

It's another word for friends. :o

sadrain 12-26-2014 04:09 PM

Isn't it from homeboys so someone you're close with or something?

xuvrette 12-26-2014 04:11 PM

oh? Homeboys?

Elirona 12-26-2014 04:13 PM

Yes, Rain. Basically. :P

sadrain 12-26-2014 04:14 PM

I am not really all up to date with the American slang to be honest.
