in the movie i watched, he was barefoot. and didnt wear a shirt at all. under his robe he wore nothing both those two kids....that clung to him...

HamletSpamlet 12-28-2014 12:18 AM

Maybe try the Merry Evergreen shrug? That way your chest can still be bare.

Also the kids in his robe really creeped me out. >_>

bloodstainedwings 12-28-2014 12:31 AM

how about this, its the jacket from the special event store. but now i feel the need for a belt with a big gold belt buckle... hows that?

HamletSpamlet 12-28-2014 12:39 AM

Looks good to me~ [boogie]

bloodstainedwings 12-28-2014 12:40 AM

HamletSpamlet 12-28-2014 01:21 AM

Nice, whatcha drinking?

Yeah, I think a couple more. And we still might need a Bob Cratchit?

bloodstainedwings 12-28-2014 01:31 AM

wine. we made it ourselves. well we commissioned it... its a merlot. i made a whole vareity of labells for it and gave them out for christmas presents. most everyone seemed to like them and the few that drank it were pleasently surprised. as am i. its actually really good wine. i think i need more...

edit: boo, we finished it...now there is only shitty white wine that was a gift. its shitty though...

Cardinal Biggles 12-28-2014 01:46 AM

Looks good, BSW! I wish there was a way we could deal with that one floating pumpkin.
But don't think we can.

Long: are you using a female avi? Just curious.

Dys: I still wonder if it's too much stone for an indoor scene, but it's not just down to me, if everyone else is cool with it, then so am I.

Yeah, if we end up with a tiny Tim, then we'll need a bob cratchet, but if not, we can go with just the ghost lineup.

I don't know what that guy chilling in the bushes there is doing in there though... o_o But anyway, you could probably remove the plants if you wanted, you have a good amount of food filling in the bg. Also, one of the Halloween EIs has a lantern staff if you wanted to try that.

LongCat - Maybe add the chains from basement dweller? You look pretty good to me. You could also try an all white suit?

Those hang from the ceiling... But sure I can try them

Yes, because I am a lazy turd. I'll switch. :P

c: Can I get some feedback and suggestions from everyone?

Cardinal Biggles 12-28-2014 05:58 AM

Am I still included in everyone? I think it's too much stone.

Looking Fab, long!

Dystopia 12-28-2014 06:03 AM

Yush~ I'm just giving everyone a chance to speak up so I can take care of all suggestions at once. c:

KatMagenta 12-28-2014 10:21 AM

I can do Bob Crachit, if you like.

Sorry, I thought I'd subscribed to this thread. [sweat]

i like it a lot. but i think the fireplaces should match. if you dont have that fireplace then dont worry about it... its just my personal opinion. thats why i used the same fire place as Hammy.

KatMagenta 12-28-2014 07:58 PM

Is this avatar Bob Crachit-y enough?

My thoughts were to use brown because it's drab and to set it apart from Scrooge in black. Layers/gloves/scarf because it's cold thanks to the snow outside and the unlit fire place. Books for the work (shoosh, that's a pen or a quill and not a brush).

I went for "tired, cold and overworked" rather than "cheery against the odds" but I can change that as well if people think it's better for the group. [yes]

Edit: I just realised the fireplace/window placement looks a bit wonky but I was cribbing from other people's indoor backgrounds to try and make it look cohesive. [sweat]

Misha-chan 12-28-2014 08:04 PM

Nice cosplay!

~LONGCAT~ 12-28-2014 09:10 PM

Do I need to match my background to everyone elses'? And anyone have any suggestions?

Dystopia 12-28-2014 11:23 PM

hmm. So matching fireplaces and less stone? Anyone else?

HamletSpamlet 12-28-2014 11:51 PM

Dys, your fireplace doesn't need to match mine since you're in a schoolroom rather than Scrooge's house. Does that window equip separately from the wall? If not, I think that's the only wall that really works with that fireplace, unless you were to go windowless.

Long, you look great! I thought the basement dweller chains hung down lower, so if you wanted to remove them that'd be fine.

Kat, I think a close lip smile would work for Bob. Not too cheery, but at least to let a little of his optimism show. Other than that, the outfit and everything are spot on.

Dystopia 12-28-2014 11:55 PM

Oh. That's true enough. Unfortunately, the window doesn't equip separately from the wall. :C Its basically this fireplace and this wall in whatever color combination, or no window!

i think yours is ok because that scene took place in the hallway... and also your distorting reality. but if we want it all matchy matchy... then maybe you should make it matchy matchy? i love the floor though. i wanted to use that floor.

HamletSpamlet 12-28-2014 11:59 PM

Yeah I would've used that floor too if I had it. ><

---------- Post added 12-28-2014 at 04:29 PM ----------

Ah, I just thought of something!

Long, you could try this head bow to sorta create the handkerchief around jaw look?

And for Dystopia, there's the wood stove from Cozy Cabin you might try that could work with windows.

Cardinal Biggles 12-29-2014 03:12 AM

Long, I think you look good [sup] That wallpaper is very victorian so I'm down for it.

Kat, that avatar is coming along very nicely [yes]

This is an aside, but I love your current background BSW! Yours is done, right? If so, I'll add it to the front page.
