"I have no intention on harming anyone or anything unless it's absolutely necessary, I will be back once the items that we need are ready... until then, good day." Lithil said giving a slight bow before leaving writing notes as she left so she would know exactly what she needed to tell her group.

Watching her leave, Rurik sneered and shook his head. "She left, thank goodness!" He said to himself before telling his parents what had happened. "I see. So she's coming back?" Asked Atros. "Yes. It will be a while though before she does." Rurik replied and glanced over at his mother who was looking at some flowers. "Well then. We should all keep a close eye on Shiva's pet." She said easily. "I know...and I will." Rurik replied before excusing himself and heading up to his room where he saw Shiva waiting for him. "Are you okay?" he asked her softly.

"Y-yes of course... I'm just worried.... Imber's a good girl... she would never hurt anyone... so why did that woman say that she could hurt or kill people here?" Shiva asked not knowing that an angels purity could really hurt or even kill vampires and other types of demons. Really she just hoped that her and her pet weren't in trouble... they really hadn't done anything wrong after all.

Seeing Shiva so vulnerable tugged at Rurik's heartstrings, it was depressing to see her like this. "Well, that's because an angel's disgusting purity is actually a demon's weakness believe it or not. We vampires are demons so of course we'd be concerned if we had an angelic being in our kingdom." Rurik explained easily before petting her softly. "You don't need to worry though, I will make sure that none of you are hurt or separated okay?" He said and smirked. "You trust me right?" He asked softly.

"Oh ok." Shiva said then calmed and purred as she was petted and nodded. "Of course master, I trust you completely. Thank you." she said softly leaning her head against his hand a little. She always loved the closeness whenever he would pet her or talk to her, it always made her very happy, even when he would bite her she had to be so close to him and she just loved it really.

Rurik smirked at her answer and continued to pet her gently. "Good, I'm glad to hear you say that." Rurik said softly and kept her close to him as he brushed some hair away from her neck. The two had gotten pretty close, almost like friends really but he didn't think they could ever really be friends. Shaking the thoughts out of his head, he focused on the task at hand and sunk his teeth into her neck carefully and began to feed off her. He just hoped that his sister wouldn't show up and force him to stop.

Shiva continued to purr even knowing what was to come and only made a little noise, not even a real whimper, when she was bitten and stayed close to Rurik keeping her eyes mostly closed. When he was gentle it really didn't hurt at all, in a way, it almost felt nice really. But when he was mad at her or trying to punish her he really could make it hurt very badly though. She felt very close to Rurik now, almost how she felt with her young mistress... but different at the same time. She wondered a bit if this is what they called a 'friendship', they would talk more then he would talk to any of the other slaves, and he treated her very well, he even tried to protect her, all of this made her very happy, no matter what you call it.

Rurik continued to feed off her until he was satisfied. When he finished, he pulled her into a hug and smirked as the smell of her blood filled his room. "I promise that no one is going to hurt you Shiva. You are mine, and only I get to hurt you. And let's be honest, I don't hurt you much anyway." Rurik said softly as he ran his fingers through her hair gently. He didn't think that they were friends yet, he didn't think they would ever be friends. It wouldn't be fair for the other servants. Still, he had to admit to himself that he and Shiva had gotten closer and he wasn't sure how he felt about that.

Shiva was shocked as she was pulled into a hug but smiled and purred nuzzling Rurik softly "Thank you master, you're so kind" she smiled softly as she hesitantly gave him a hug back. Honestly she hadn't been aloud to hug any of her masters, or really anyone, since she was separated from her young mistress, it was very very nice to be able to hug Rurik, it made her very happy.

"Kind? Me?" repeated Rurik before laughing softly. "Yes, let's go with that." he said. Rurik knew he wasn't a nice guy, he was known for being a brat. He was known for being rude to people at times and for not keeping friends. He was far from nice, but he did have his nice moments he supposed. These nice moments where the ones he kept hidden from the public, he had a reputation to keep after all right? His fingers continued to run through her white hair gently before he hesitantly let her go. "Well then, I suppose you have work to do, so I'll let you go so that you can get it done." Rurik said easily while trying to keep a serious look on his face, but ended up smiling anyway.

"Okay, do you need anything else?" Shiva asked as she got up and smiled easily before making her ears and tail vanish. They tended to be distracting either to her or the other servants so she would keep them hidden as much as she possibly could... it wasn't always easy, especially when Rurik was around... well unless she did something wrong then they weren't out of course.

"Not at the moment, no. You go and get back to work. I don't want my sister to show up and start asking questions." he replied easily and licked any blood he had from his lips. "I think I will spend time with Sylph now. You better take care of your pet too Shiva." Rurik warned and opened up the door for her. "If I need anything I'll make sure to call you." he assured.

"Yes master." Shiva smiled before bowing a little and went off to get back to work wondering a little why his sister seemed so curious about him and his feeding habits... she was already used to it herself so she saw nothing odd about it... well other then how sometimes it hurt allot worse then others.

Downstairs, preparations for the party were being made and both Atros and Irsa were making sure that everything was perfect. "Make sure we have plenty of food but I don't want any of it cold." ordered Irsa. Rurik had left outside with Sylph who was happily rolling around in the grass and flapping his wings, obviously enjoying being outside and with Rurik. "You seem very happy Sylph, I'm glad to see you so happy." he said and stood up. "I'll be right back. Just going to get some water. You stay right here." Rurik ordered before stepping back inside the house.

Meleanie smiled a bit at the male that had shown up early to speak to her as they walked through the garden. "That does sound quite interesting but I'm afraid I don't plan on taking another trip for quite awhile, as you know I just came back and I really wish to spend time with my family, I have to get to know them all over again you see. So it's really not possible for me to go so far away." she explained and the male frowned "But you are looking for a husband that likes to travel correct? Then why the hesitation? Family is forever, chances like this don't come up every day you know." he said placing his arm around Mel's waist making her quite uncomfortable and moved to pull away. "that's not true, I will have plenty of chances to travel again but that area is cut off through part of the year near my brother's birthday, it's just not possible. Besides I don't plan on moving away. My answer is no, and I would appreciate it if you let now." she said and the male frowned before grabbing her arms so she couldn't look away and knew no one was out in the garden so saw no threats to him. "Come on now how do you know if you wouldn't like it? I mean you must have trouble making up your own mind since you're having your parents throw you this party so how about I make the choice for you? I think you'll really like my kingdom, you may not even want to come back here." he smirked and Mel tried her hardest to get out of his grip but just couldn't. "N-no, I said no and I meant it! Now leave." she demanded but the male just shook his head.

Rurik grabbed his water and looked around at the preparations for the party tomorrow. He had to admit that it was turning out nicely. Still, he wasn't very much looking forward to the actual party. All the girls would be following him around in an attempt to woo him and the though annoyed him. He then caught some movement out of the corner of his eye and turned his attention to the garden. At first he didn't see anything at first but upon looking closer, he saw Meleanie out there with a man who seemed to be making her uncomfortable. Frowning slightly, Rurik watched the too for a bit and saw that she was trying to get away from the man but he wouldn't let her. It was then that Rurik stepped out to the garden and approached them. "Hello there, what's going on here?" he asked politely.

both Meleanie and the male were surprised at this but Mel looked relieved when the man stepped away from her. "We were having a private discussion is all what's it to you?" the male asked a bit angrily not knowing that Rurik was the prince, he wasn't from the kingdom after all, he was just there for the party and to try and get Mel to be his wife rather she wanted to or not.

"A private discussion out in the open?" Rurik repeated and narrowed his eyes. "I suggest you change your tone of voice when you speak to me, unless you want to get me mad." he warned. Looking at Mel, he frowned slightly. "Is everything okay Meleanie?" he asked her, curious to know what was really going on.

"well it's not like anyone was out here until you butted in" the male frowned with his arms crossed and Mel shook her head. "No... thank you for stepping in, I don't really know what this guy is thinking but i don't really think I want to know, I asked him serveral times already to leave but instead he wouldn't let me go." she explained and the male frowned darkly before turning and started to leave clearly frustrated.

"Butted in?!" Rurik repeated and hissed. He wanted to tackle the man to the ground but resisted when Mel started to speak and the man started to leave. "That's right! You better walk away! I don't want to see you here or near my sister again you hear?!" Rurik called out before looking at his sister and managed to calm down. "Well he's gone now. Did he hurt you?" he asked worriedly.

"No not really, thank you Rurik I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't came out when you did... eh I guess I should have my personal guard with me when I'm talking to these men." Mel frowned worriedly since she hadn't had these types of problems when she was on her trips... then again she always had a group of people with her, she was never really alone.

"Yes you probably should since maybe next time you won't be so lucky." Rurik said and wondered why she had let that man talk to him the way that he did. It didn't matter now, at least she was safe now. "I'll let you do whatever it is girls do. I have a pet to look after, so if you'll excuse me." he said quietly and started to go back to where he had left Sylph, who was perched up on a tree branch.

"oh could i meet your pet?" Mel asked with a slight smile really wanting to find a way to get closer to Rurik and wondered some if he had even opened the presents she had given him... several of them had little notes inside for when he would open them.

"Well...if you want to." Rurik replied and led her out to where Sylph was. "He's up there." he said and pointed over to Sylph who's tail was swaying from side to side as he stared out in front of him. Rurik had stuffed all the gifts in his closet, but never bothered to open any of them. However, the thought was rather tempting since he wondered exactly what she had gotten him.

Mel looked up and smiled some as she saw the gryphon. "A gryphon huh? I kind of imagined you getting a dragon... I almost brought you back a dragon egg but I couldn't get ahold of mother and father so I decided it would have to wait." she explained smiling a little. "it looks like you've taken really good care of him though... he looks very happy" she pointed out with a smile
