Shayla smiled,"If anything, I could still show you if you like." She said,"I also wrote a new song I'd like to play for everyone later." She looked at the book and was surprised,"I can't believe you still have this." She said, seeing how old and torn it was,"I wrote that when I was very young, I'm surprised it made any sense."

Jin smiled and nodded. "I would really like that Shayla." He said and chuckled softly. "Well I have read some of it in the past, just never finished reading it all. I find it simple to understand really." Jin explained and smiled sadly, "Of course I still have it. It was the last thing you gave me before you vanished." He said and was looking forward to listening to her song and to spending time with her.

She smiled,"I've written a lot of other things since then." She said,"But none of them are finished just yet. Some of them I'm a little stuck on to be honest."

"How many have you written?" Jin asked as they followed everyone inside. "I'm sure you'll finish them someday. Just take it easy for a while and let your mind rest." He suggested easily.

"Quite a few actually. It's been over a span of a few years." She admitted,"I've been working more on songwritting lately to be honest."

"Well, writing music sounds somewhat easier than writing books." Jin said and offered a smile. "I'll be looking forward to listening to the music you've written. I'm sure it will sound lovely." He added easily. He had to admit, Shayla was a talented lady for writing both books and music.

Shayla smiled,"Thank you." She said,"I hope it sounds alright." She looked over as her parents smiled,"Why don't you show Jin around our home?" She asked. Shayla smiled and nodded, looking over at him,"Would you like to?"

Jin was already looking around at the pictures that hung on the walls when he heard Shayla's voice. "I'm sorry?" He started but realized what had been said. "I'd love to." He answered with a nod of his head. He could already tell that he was going to like the tour.

Shayla smiled and led him around, showing him all the wonderful things that could be seen while at her home. The home itself was very lovely. After showing him around, she smiled at him,"Would you at least like to meet my horse?"

Jin looked around at everything and smiled, he really loved looking at other's decor pieces. When Shayla mentioned her house, he nodded easily. "I'm sure she's a lovely horse. Friendly too I'm assuming." He said softly.

Shayla smiled and nodded,"Very." She said. She led the way outside through the gardens to a small stable where a beautiful brown and white horse was. She neighed at the sight of Shayla and nuzzled her gently as she was petted on the nose,"Hey Sakura. How are you sweetie?" She smiled over at Jin,"This is Sakura. She is three years old."

Jin followed her in silence and looked over at the horse. "Very pretty horse you have." He said and found it odd that she spoke to it as if it were an actual child. "It's nice to meet you Sakura." He said and looked down at the book in his hand. He had to start reading it soon if he ever wanted to learn how to ride a horse. He'd need a horse for that too though.

Sakura whinnied and nuzzled Jin softly, licking his cheek as well. Shayla giggled,"Sakura, don't do that." She said gently, looking over at Jin,"Sorry about that. She's a friendly horse at least."

Jin was surprised at the lick on the cheek and carefully pet Sakura. "Very friendly. Maybe a bit too friendly, but friendly nonetheless." He said and smiled at Shayla. "When did you get her?" He asked curiously as he ran his fingers through his hair.

"A couple of years ago." Shayla said, leaning over and hugging the big animal around her neck gently,"We were heading home from somewhere and her mother was being abused by a cruel owner. My father stopped at once and was able to get the mother away. Not long after, her mother gave birth to her and we've had her ever since."

Jin frowned as he heard the story and looked at Sakura. "I see. Well at least she is happy and taken care of here. You did the right thing, I probably would have done the same." He said and smiled warmly. The horse did look very happy and healthy, which showed just how much they cared about her.

Shayla smiled and nodded,"Dad is really against animal abuse." She said,"I think at our summer home we have a sanctuary for the poor animals who have been mistreated. All sorts of animals are there, even a couple of pandas."

"So, almost like a zoo?" Jin asked and smiled. "That's really nice. Do you visit it only in the summertime?" He asked. He was pretty sure that they were always taken care of even when Shayla and her family couldn't be there.

She shook her head,"We have some people who stay there all year round to tend to the animals there." She said,"I visit as often as I can though as I helped to take care of some of them myself."

"Well you are one busy princess Shayla." Jin said softly and thought about what she said. So she really loved animals, he himself wasn't a huge fan of animals by he didn't hate them either.

She nodded,"It's hard to not love animals when your parents do too." She said with a smile"But I do understand that some people dont like them as much."

"I'm sure everyone loves animals. Some more than others." Jin starts and chuckled. "I personally don't hate them, but I'm not crazy about them either. I think it's because I never grew up around animals. My parents never got me a pet of any kind, they were more interested in me doing what I had to do as a prince. And I have no problem with that." Jin explained.

She smiled and nodded before starting to head back inside,"When we get back, I will play my new song for everyone." She said

Jin nodded in response and followed her back inside as he opened up the book and began to read it quietly to himself. He hoped that he'd be able to actually read it all.

As they walked back towards her home, she glanced back, seeing him reading that old book she had written for him a long time ago. She decided to write a new one for him, as well as rewriting the horse learning one. She knew it would take some time, but she hoped he would like both of them. For right now, she was going to focus on his visit and showing him things she liked to do.
