Hits u in the face w a lemon creme pie. SPLAT! !!!!![mrgreen][rofl]

zigbigadorlube 04-14-2015 02:36 AM

I don't think I've ever actually hit anyone in the face with a pie. What a waste of yummyness!

Menelaus 04-14-2015 07:41 AM

lol, cream pie fights are great fun, as long as you're the pie-er and not the pie-ee that is *throws back a blueberry cream pie* >SPLAT!!!<

jellysundae 04-14-2015 12:08 PM

I've never had this experience either, lol. I mean, is it something that actually happens, other than in slapstick comedy? I'm with Ziggles though, what a waste of desserts [gonk]

They use nasty stuff like shaving foam for films and so on, don't they. EW!

HIM_ROCK 04-14-2015 01:18 PM

I once saw someone who'd dropped a cream pie on the floor he was very distraught then he realized it was down his jeans as well. Then that just made it hillarious

StarDustDreamer 04-14-2015 02:03 PM

I was once hit in the face with cake at my 11th birthday party - by that dastardly brother of mine! I got him back, but I really wanted to eat that cake! XD

bluerockman 04-14-2015 03:06 PM

The closest I've had to pie in the face was pieing a teacher events at my old college. Not that I actually partook of those events, but I did enjoy the food. I likes my food.

kelseydee 04-14-2015 03:26 PM

The stooges used real pies but soupy sales Used shaving creme.

Menelaus 04-14-2015 06:33 PM

lol, when I was a kid, we once had a pie fight with the leftovers after a pie eating contest/game when we went camping in Epping Forest with the Scouts. it was a laugh riot, we finished off the evening (after a quick shower) roasting sausages on a stick over the campfire while singing the 'ging gang goolie' song. ah, the innocence of youth, we made the pies ourselves too, with berries we'd foraged earlier in the day

hummy 04-14-2015 06:38 PM

mmmm, lemon [drool]

MeIshCutie 04-14-2015 10:13 PM

ahh! i remember when i was in high school.. in a fund raising event.. we get to pie our teachers for $1 per pie LOL..

it was like a chance for paybacks.. everyone got so excited and signed up x].. some even went for some more..

but i didn't go and pie them.. felt so sorry for the teachers x]

AikaCoonCat 04-15-2015 02:37 AM

-licks it off meh face- I like pie XD

EllieGrace90 04-15-2015 03:39 AM

Yummy! :-) Lemon is one of my faves :-)

bluerockman 04-15-2015 03:43 AM

I'm likely a chocolate pie guy myself. Or at least cookies and cream. Or something like that. I hardly go out of my way to have pie. :o

jellysundae 04-15-2015 11:58 AM

We don't have much in the way of pie in the UK, it's got to be said. Not your cream-laden cold dessert kind that the US has so many varieties of, at least. Pie over here's general hot, with hot custard poured over the top, an autumn/winter dessert. Apple, blackberry and apple or rhubarb in the main. Lemon meringue's what springs to mind for me when I think about cold pie-like puddings, and bannofee of course. But stuff like chocolate creme pie basically doesn't exist in the UK [ninja]

HIM_ROCK 04-15-2015 12:01 PM

CHERRY PIE ! How could you forget that Jelly. And chicken, steak and ale....Not a pie fan...<.< >.>

jellysundae 04-15-2015 12:07 PM

Yeah! I thought of cherry pie once I'd posted, lol. I think I was mainly thinking of pies made from fruit out of the garden, and cherry pie's usually from a tin of pie filling, isn't it. OMG, I used to eat that stuff straight out of the tin when my mum wasn't looking when I was little [ninja] [drool]

Ah but HIM, meat pies are a whole different kettle of fish! See the US doesn't really have those, lol xD Inso used to bitch a lot about that when he lived in America xD Being an Aussie, and Australia being partially populated by UK convicts, there's a lot of inherited pie-eating genetics over there. Though they eat pork pies hot. . . weirdos >.> [lol]

HIM_ROCK 04-15-2015 12:15 PM

See the American's are missing out there. And pies have LIDS ! Lattice pies are just about acceptable. My friend and I have a very indepth discussion about this and it was decided that lattice pies have enough pastry to make a lid.

Menelaus 04-15-2015 12:23 PM

eeew! is that even legal? eating pork pies hot I mean. but I know what you mean about the UK traditionally not having pies in the sense of pies in the U.S. although if you look around hard enough (especially here in Olde London Towne) there's no a type of foodstuff that you cannot find. there's even an American themed pie shop in South Kensington, up by all the big museums, and their pecan pie is to die for

Cardinal Biggles 04-15-2015 04:16 PM

I don't consider myself a pie person, but that's because I blank on savory pies. I love savory pies!

Menelaus 04-15-2015 05:13 PM

there's a posh new fish and chips shop that's recently opened around my way, and instead of the traditional fillings such as steak and kidney, or chicken and mushroom, their pie menu consists of things like venison and port, steak and Guinness, and leak and butternut squash pies. my fave from there at the moment is steak and baby onions, the filo pastry's so light and fluffy that they just melt in your mouth

Bishalisious 04-15-2015 05:34 PM

I make an absolutely yummy homemade chicken pot pie. Found the recipe online because I also like the frozen Pot Pies u can buy at the grocery store. The version I make is quick & super easy. My family & co-workers beg me to make it all the time like its some secret formula to it. I'm like uhhh yeah I can definitely give u the recipe or the web site where I discovered it, lol. But they say I have that special touch...sooooo

Menelaus 04-15-2015 07:46 PM

lol, I am sooo coming to your house for dinner on pie day. I mean, not in a stalky way, but in a 'I want to be the one who ate all the pies' way

Bishalisious 04-15-2015 08:03 PM

Menelaus: u wud be more than welcome to join me. I love giving or hosting parties & gatherings. U would fit right in with "the crew", lol.

Menelaus 04-15-2015 08:18 PM

lol, I'll come when you send me a plane ticket, six thousand miles or so is just a little bit too far, even for greedy old me, to travel for dinner. though, I don't know, I do really like pie...
