Mousy's Hole - going away, my last post has email info...
I was going to make a really funny title for this thread, but I worried that it might have been a bit too suggestive, so I've taken the high road, for once...
I'm about to go to bed, because the sun is coming up, but I at least wanted to make my own hangout thread before I did. While I sleep, feel free to post in here. Not that I expect it, or feel I'm entitled to it or anything, but because it'll give you at least one more post for the day, and that's always worth something, right? And if people post in here at all, it'll give me one more post for the day when I log back on and everyone else is asleep... XD So anyway, here's my hole, and if you're small enough to fit in it, you're welcome to come inside. I mean... yeah, nevermind what I mean. |

Yay Gizzie poo pooh has a owner I'm loved WOOHOO ^.^ I was all sad and lonely sitting on the toy shelf collecting dust then I falled off the shelf and got a hole in me brain lost some stuffing out of there then I ranned away and got losteded and then there was the rain oh gosh golly boy oh boy there was a blustery windy rain and I floated down the flooded street in my empty hunny bowl and then I got chaseded by a critter yuppers and then I found this here cubby hole >.>

Well, there were a few options...
"Mousy's Little Hole: come see if you fit inside!" "Mousy's Hole: Where A Lack Of Cheese Can Be A Good Thing" "Mousy Has A Hole: everybody get up in here!" Etc... <_<; But yeah, any one of those is still better than what I've seen on Gaia. That site has some genuinely scuzzy people on it... I'm just happy someone got a teddy bearhere, and a teddy bear got someone here. That makes it all worth it. ^_^ |

I had some really jammin' mac and cheese earlier, pretty good for microwave stuff...
*is used to cooking from scratch all the time* And on the subject of cheese, I am so happy to be able to make my own, now. I thought I'd need some sort of special enzymes or something, like rennet, but you can use lemon juice, as it turns out. I use a really simple recipe from India, and it makes awesome homemade cheese. EDIT: Here it is... Ingredients: Half a gallon of milk 1/4 cup of lemon juice (I tend to use a little bit more) Instructions: Slowly bring the milk to a boil, then turn it off and add the lemon juice. Stir the lemon juice in until the milk separates into curds and greenish liquid. Dump all of this into a strainer lined with a double layer of cheesecloth (I just use a single layer of cotton t-shirt material) and give it a quick rinse, but don't let it cool too much, or it won't clump properly. If you like your cheese salty, add the salt while it's still in the pot, preferably before it boils. Twist it into a ball, squeezing out as much liquid as you can, and hang it on the faucet of the sink for a few minutes, just for good measure. Next, press it between two plates (with some heavy canned goods or a jug of juice on top for weight) and put it in the fridge to cool for at least 20 minutes. I usually leave it for at least a half an hour. Unwrap it and it's good to go! You just made your own homemade cheese! |

The mention of cheese and Cheetos made me want some Flamin' Hot Cheetos or those Cheetos Mix-Ups, but I can never find those anymore. They were my favorite. [:|]
That cheese recipe looks super easy. I'd make it, but I don't keep lemon juice in the house... |
It's probably the simplest recipe I know, next to chocolate ganache. It makes pretty good cheese, though. I like to put it in me curries.

My husband want a me to bake him a cake for his birthday, which was Monday but he seems to think it's all week. I had made a cheesecake, but he wants a chocolate cake. I was going to bake it today, but I had a migraine that made me immobile.
