Contessa smiled up at the father, and listened to what Rosa said. She really did hope that she and Daylen would fall in love sometime during their marriage. She then remembered his words when he had given her the beautiful rings that she still didn't wear. Was she supposed to wear them now? She had told them to give the rings to someone he loved and his answer to that still made her smile and made her feel all warm inside. I may not love you now but who knows what the future holds. Keep them, please. she remembered. Oh the future, he was right about that. No one knew what the future held, but so far it looked bright to her. Come out of my shell? Well yes, I suppose I am pretty shy, a bit too shy for my own good.Contessa thought to herself. "Thank-you Father, I pray for that too." she admitted, blushing slightly.
Edward listened and smirked, this game was getting interesting and it hadn't even started yet. Sirus looked very confident, and Edward couldn't help but wonder who would actually win. Perhaps Daylen would win? Chuckling, he placed the dishes in the sink carefully before heading out to the garden to watch the game in anticipation of the outcome. What sort of dares would be asked to be completed? |
The Father just smiled softly more at the thought of Daylen coming out of his shell. "Perhaps he'll resort back to the playful young man he used to be." Rosa just laughed once more. "You are thinking of Sirus Father." He thought quietly to himself, was it Sirus he was thinking of? He could never tell those two apart, especially when the playful one dressed and acted like the gloomier one. "Will you be holding the wedding here?" The elderly man asked curiously to Contessa once he fell out of thought. Rosa just sweetly looked at her waiting for her answer. She knew that both Grace and Contessa found the place beautiful but would she want to marry in their church or in their own.
Once outside Sirus conjured up two goal post. "Okay basic rules, no teleporting and no hands." Both Daylen and Sirus took off their vest and set them on the steps, they already knew that the running would make them hot. However Sirus was always the only one to take off his shirt when he got too hot. Sirus just pulled his hair back into a ponytail, made it slightly easier to tell the identical men apart. Daylen just rolled up his sleeves to his elbows as Sirus set down the ball on the grass. "What team do you want to be on?" Sirus asked Edward, they wouldn't have him do any dares just each other. Though they would probably have him help decide the fate of the other. |
Contessa smiled and nodded, "Yes, Father. I think it would be perfect to hold the wedding here." she replied softly. Grace nodded, "I agree. This church is beautiful, I'm sure everyone will be pleased." she commented kindly and rocked Carolyn in her arms as she continued to look around the church at all the details. "I am looking forward to having you look over the wedding, Father." Contessa commented.
Edward listened to the rules and nodded. It seemed fair enough and rolled up the sleeves of his shirt as he debated on which team to be on. "Hmm..." he started and looked at Daylen then at Sirus and smiled, "I'll be with Daylen since you're pro at the sport." he said and chuckled. Alright Ed, gotta help out Daylen as much as you can today. Teamwork and speed is what matters. he thought to himself as he stood beside Daylen. |
Rosa and the elderly man smiled at her reply, he was happy to be seeing Daylen off into a new life with this beautiful young lady. He lightly hugged Contessa, he found the di Pavia's family, soon she would be too. "I will be honored to look over the wedding, I known Daylen since he was a baby. Not much older then this young lady." He said sweetly looking at Carolyn. He turned back to the woman before speaking. "I must be off, I have to deal with the church sales today." He excused himself before leaving through the rather large oak doors that lead to the outside. Rosa chuckled at the elderly man as he left. "Father Sullivan is a sweet man, starting to go senile however." She told Grace and Contessa. "The church just started having sales again after twenty years. Poor man kept showing up for the sales every year when there was none." She donated a lot of items for them to sell to help keep him busy every year.
Sirus just smiled widely, two against one this will be fun. "Okay lets, begin." Sirus stated before taking the ball before Daylen could. He spun around Daylen skillfully and kicked the ball so hard it flew into the net at great speed. "Goal!" He screamed as Daylen ran to get the ball. Daylen kicked the ball towards Sirus. Sirus stopped the ball with his chest, as it fell down, Sirus bounced it with his knees and feet. Daylen just ran back to both Edward and Sirus. Sirus let the ball fall onto the grass. "That's one dare you owe me." Sirus said playfully to his twin. |
Both Contessa and Grace smiled, "Church sales are always nice. We usually donate when we can." Grace said softly. "Remember that charity sale you helped in Contessa?" reminded Grace. Contessa smiled and nodded. "That was years ago, it was fun though." she answered and sighed happily. "Is it odd that I'm really excited for this wedding?" she asked. Her mother shook her head, "I see nothing wrong with it deary." she answered honestly. "A wedding is always exciting, it's normal." she added reassuringly.
"Are you sure you'll be able to keep score?" Edward asked suddenly. How were they going to keep track of the scores? They probably had great memory so he didn't worry about it too much. Sirus really was good at the game. He was very fast and hoped that they could get some scores in. They just had to keep trying, in the end it was all about having fun really. |
Rosa listened quietly to them. She would have to bring Contessa and Grace to one of the ones she donated to. She was sure that they would love to help Father Sullivan with the sales. She simply shook her head towards Contessa's question. "Not at all, like your mother said. Weddings are exciting, especially when it's your own." She said sweetly. She looked at her pocket watch, they had allot more to do and such little time to do it. Hours passed as she took them from one place to another. They spent allot of time at the florist and caterers but they had everything picked out for the most part. All they needed was the music and that was for Daylen and Contessa to chose together. The sun would be setting in a few hours. A simple wave of her hand she had transported them to the garden's balcony of Daylen's manor, it was where she could sense her son's currently at. Rosa looked around to see them playing soccer in the garden, a soft smile came to her face as she watched them.
"Goal!" Sirus shouted happily. Both him and Daylen were lightly covered in a layer of sweat, their shirts stuck to them as they played. Sirus was seriously winning the game. "Thats twenty-nine Sirus and seven for you two." Sirus said laughing at Edward and Daylen. Daylen got the ball from the net and kicked it back to Sirus, who once again bounced it as his twin ran back. "Last around." Daylen said seeing how late it was starting to be, he didn't realize how much time passed as they played. Both the twins were having too much fun to. Sirus let the ball fall onto the grass but before he could get it Daylen had stolen it. They playfully kept stealing the ball from each other for a while, until Sirus stole it and darted down the field. He he lightly flipped it into the air with his foot and kicked it sending it into the net once more. "Goal!" Sirus chirped happily. Daylen just breathe heavily, Edward and him had brutally been slaughtered by Sirus. Daylen just swept his hair out off his face, it was sticking to him as he smiled at Sirus who still had allot of energy to burn. |
Contessa was pretty tired from being all over today, it had really been a busy day and she still was planing on spending time with both Daylen and Sirus. Unless that is, they were both too tired. both she and her mother looked over at where Rosa was looking and smiled, seeing all three men chase after a ball. Contessa had never seen her father play sports before and was impressed, he was doing very well even though Sirus was destroying both her father and Daylen. Looking over at Daylen, she could tell that he was having fun, well they all were really and that was nice. At least her father had something in common with both Daylen and Sirus.
Edward ran close behind Daylen and wasn't surprised when Sirus stole the ball and easily scored a goal. He was exhausted by this time and he could tell that so was Daylen. Sirus however, looked as full of energy as he did when they started. He really would be great in a professional league."Thirty goals! I'm very impressed Sirus, and you don't even look as tired as Daylen and I!" Edward noted. "That was a good game though, I had fun." he admitted and laughed softly. Sure they were destroyed, but he had a lot of fun and hoped that they did too. Thirty goals meant thirty dares. Sirus couldn't possibly come up with thirty dares for Daylen to fulfill could he? |
Daylen just nodded, he was as tired as he could be. Seeing how he didn't sleep well last night and now this. "I'm beat." He simply replied to Edward. Sirus just laughed and bounced the ball with his knees. "That was fun, we should do this again." His said happily. Daylen just popped his back and nodded, though he hoped not for awhile. "That means Daylen has to do thirty dares!" He said laughing at his twin. "And I know exactly what I want as my first dare." Daylen just looked at Sirus plainly, he would regret betting with his brother but he did have seven of his own. Sirus just leaned over to Edward, skillfully still bouncing the ball with his feet and knees. "I say we make him smile, not his normal..." Sirus mimicked Daylens soft plain smile. It wasn't really even a smile. "What do you say?" He asked Edward curiously. He really wanted to see what his brother's smiled would look like, granted it might look just like his. Maybe it would be scary seeing how he never smiled.
Rosa just shook her head, Sirus and Daylen had bet over a game again. "Sirus, if you make your brother do something indecent." She said sternly, she didn't even need to add anything to the sentence for Sirus to get the point. Sirus just sighed in defeat and nodded. "I promise momma, I will not make him do anything indecent." He smiled widely as he spoke to her. |
Edward listened to what Sirus suggested and thought about it for a second. It seemed like an interesting dare, but Daylen didn't seem like the type who smiled so he knew this wasn't going to be an easy thing to do. "It's a good starting dare Sirus, but how do you exactly intend to do that?" he asked him honestly. He was actually looking forward to seeing Daylen smile even though he'd probably never see it again.
"Mum, did dad always play ball?" Contessa asked curiously. Grace smiled and nodded. "He did when we had started dating, I always enjoyed watching him play. As we both got older however, he stopped playing and decided I was more important than games. I'm happy though to see that he still enjoys playing, I wish he never stopped really." her mother answered softly as she looked down at her husband. Carolyn was already falling to sleep in Grace's arms but her eyes caught movement below and looked down, letting out a soft sound as she looked at her father and the two twins, not sure which was Sirus. |
Sirus chuckled as he let the ball drop onto the grass. "For your first dare, I want you to actually smile." He told Daylen who just looked at him sternly. "I do smile." Sirus just shook his head. "This..." He said mimicking Daylen's soft smile. "Is not smiling." Sirus chirped happily. Sirus waved his hands very fast before Daylen attempted to smile. "Wait, wait, wait!" He blinked quickly onto the balcony and grabbed Contessa's shoulder before blinking back. He thought she would like to see this. "Okay, now you can." Daylen just sighed softly before he actually smiled. He had to think of something that actually made him want to smile before it actually happened, so it took a little to get it correctly. A flash blinded Daylen, Sirus had conjured a camera to capture his twin's smile. The smile quickly faded to his normal emotionless stare. "Well, atleast I caught it on camera." He said before making the old fashion camera disappear. Daylen just stared plainly at Sirus, who was laughing at him.
Rosa just looking at Sirus who randomly came and stole Contessa. She looked at Grace before looking back at her boys. A flash shuttered from her eldest son. Where ever he did to Daylen, he caught on camera and had to share it with Contessa. "Oh, Sirus what will I do with you." She softly stated. |
Contessa was about to say something but found herself staring at Daylen and smiled softly. She was confused as to what had happened, but managed to see a different smile on Daylen's face. "What's going on?" she asked obviously confused. "While we were playing, Sirus and Daylen decided that ever point scored would be a dare. We lost so now Sirus has racked up thirty dares against Daylen. For his fist dare, Daylen was dared to smile a genuine smile. I'm guessing they're are because Sirus took a photo of it." her father explained. "Oh I see, how interesting. How many points did you two make?" she asked her father. "I believe it was seven." he answered. "Shouldn't Daylen be able to dare Sirus seven times then?" Contessa asked. "Well, only the winner can dare the loser." Edward answered honestly.
"It looks to me like they all had fun." Grace commented as she rocked Carolyn in her arms. When the flash was seen, it was obvious that a photo was taken. Of what? She didn't know, but it didn't matter. Grace was happy to see that they all had some fun. |
Sirus just nodded, "I'll make you a copy when I go home tonight." He told Contessa playfully. He smiled widely and leaned towards Contessa, his hand was up to stop Daylen from hearing as he whispered. "Tell me what you want him to do and I'll make him do it for you." He giggled, he would totally let Contessa have all his dares. It would be funny watching her dare him and him having to do it. Daylen just looked at Sirus as he whispered, he had an uneasy feeling about it. Granted it never showed on his face or in his actions. Sirus just winked at Edward, he was sure Edward knew what he had whispered to his daughter. "You do realize the winking and the whispering gives everything away, right?" Daylen asked softly, his twin shook his head. "No, it doesn't." Sirus said playfully. Daylen just lightly folded his arms over his chest, he just sighed as his brother bounced lightly as he played with the ball on the ground.
Rosa just nodded in agreement, "It does seem like it. I'm glad." She said honestly. She looked at Grace. "Shall we join them, or would you like to go home and place the little one to bed?" She asked looking at the tired little Carolyn. She found it cute, she missed having young children around. |
Edward chuckled and just shook his head. Contessa blushed softly and then frowned, "I can't make him do something he clearly doesn't want to though." she replied and pouted. "B-Besides, I'm sure you can come up with better dares for him." Contessa quickly added. The offer was a tempting one, but she didn't want to force Daylen to do anything. Last thing she needed was for her fiance to hate her. Edward nodded at Contessa and pat her shoulder approvingly. Contessa smiled sadly and glanced down at the photo in her hand before turning her attention back to the boys. "I'm assuming you all had fun during your boys' day?" she asked. Edward nodded, "Yes we did, I can see now why you enjoy spending time with them." he answered. "How did the girls' day go?" he asked her. "Oh, it was a lovely day. I truly did enjoy every second of it dad. I think both Mum and Carolyn enjoyed themselves too." she replied with a smile on her face again.
Grace smiled and nodded, She was glad to see that they all seemed to have had fun while they were gone. "I think we should join them, at least for a little while so that Carolyn can spend a few minutes with Sirus before we go home. It is getting pretty late." Grace replied. |
Sirus just laughed, "You're such a sweetie." He said to Contessa. He liked that she rejected his offer in a way but sad he couldn't have fun watching Daylen carry out her dares. All the dares he would have fun with would probably get him in trouble, he knew Daylen wouldn't tell but their mother's telepathy would get him. Both Sirus and Daylen nodded, they had fun on their day. "I'm sure my mother dragged you all over the place to plan the wedding." Daylen softly spoke as he looked at Contessa, he softly smiled at her in his normal way. Sirus notice a piece of paper in her hands, "Oh what's that?" He asked Contessa curiously. He couldn't really see what it was, which only made him more curious as to what it was. Daylen just shook his head at his nosy brother. "Just ignore him, I do." He stated plainly as Sirus pouted, "So mean." He said in his playfully sad voice.
Rosa just transported them down to the group. She grabbed Sirus by the ear when she saw him ask about the picture she gave Contessa. "Calm yourself, we have guest." She said pulling him away from Contessa. She let him go when he wasn't crowding her anymore. He was a handful alone. Sirus just stood there near his mother, he could see Daylen lightly laughing at him for getting in trouble. |
Shaking her head, she laughed softly. "No she didn't. I actually enjoyed dress shopping with her, looking over flower arrangements, the food, the venue and church. It was a wonderful day. I truly mean that." she said and looked back down at the photo when Sirus pointed it out. "Oh...w-well it's just..." she started and blinked in surprise when Rosa appeared and pulled Sirus away. "It's just something I want to keep, it helps me understand a bit more about you two if that makes any sense..." she said quietly since she assumed Daylen was curious too. "I'm glad that you all had fun though. It was nice to watch you three play." Contessa commented with a nod of her head.
"Love, are you free again someday this week?" Grace asked her husband, pulling him off to the side so that Contessa and Daylen could have some alone time. "I'm not sure, I'd have to ask. Why?" he asked her. "Well you see, I really would like to go to the last meeting with the elders before the wedding." she replied. "What about Carolyn?" Edward asked. "Contessa agreed to babysit while spending time with Daylen." she answered. "That should be interesting." her husband replied and nodded, "Alright, I'll see if I can get a day off because I'm also interested in this meeting." he answered and looked down at a sleepy Carolyn. "We should probably get going, it's getting late and I'm sure we're all pretty tired." he said. Grace nodded and walked over to were Rosa and Sirus stood, Edward following behind. I think we should be going now, unless you want to talk about that thing you wanted to talk to me about? We can go inside so that Contessa doesn't hear." she said quietly. |
Daylen just looked at her curiously. They went dress shopping? Without meaning to, he pictured her in a beautiful wedding dress. He blushed softly and looked away from her. He had a feeling she would make a beautiful bride. Dayen just nodded softly to her. It made sense to him, however he was curious about it but unlike Sirus he would respect her boundaries. "I'm pleased you had a good day as well." He said softly as he avoided looking at her. He didn't want her to see him blush for picturing her in a wedding dress. Sirus just grinned seeing Daylen blush. He knew Daylen pictured Contessa in a wedding dress because he did as well when he heard that they went dress shopping. Rosa also smiled sweetly to her youngest son. He really seemed to like her now that he got to know her some.
Rosa just looked at little Carolyn when Grace asked if she wanted to talk about the previous topic earlier in the day. "Perhaps after the meeting with the Elders. The little one really should get to bed before it gets too late." She didn't want to seem like she was forcing them to stay later than intended. "If you are unable to attention then I'll have Sirus tell you, both he and Daylen know." She said in her sweet mothering tone. Sirus just looked at his mother then snapped his fingers, he knew what she was talking about. Daylen's face lit up in a very deep blush when he heard his mother. She was going to tell them? He could understand not telling Contessa but did her parents have to know. |
Contessa noticed that Daylen was avoiding looking at her and she frowned. Why wasn't he looking at her? Did she upset him? "I-I'm sorry, is something wrong?" she asked nervously then realized something and shook her head. "I'm terribly sorry, you must be exhausted and here I am talking when you must really want to get some sleep. It has been quite a long day for all of us." she said and laughed nervously as she looked around only to see that her parents had joined Rosa and Sirus at the other end of the garden. Her attention went back to Daylen as she tried to figure out what was wrong.
"That sounds perfect to me. You're right, Carolyn really needs to get some sleep. I think she wanted to look at Sirus just for a bit before bed." Grace replied and looked down at Carolyn who yawned. "Say bye to Sirus dear." she said softly to Carolyn who only looked over at Sirus and cooed tiredly. "Poor Carolyn, she's really tired." Edward noted and chuckled softly. "Thank-you for today, we all really enjoyed ourselves Rosa." Grace thanked Rosa. Edward nodded, "I enjoyed spending time with your boys, I can see now why Contessa enjoys their company." Edward said softly. |
Daylen just shook his head softly to Contessa's words. "No need to apologize." He quietly spoke, "I just pictured you in a wedding dress, that is all." He said shyly to Contessa, still not being able to looked at her. "If the dress is as lovely as the one I pictured, you'll be a very beautiful bride." Daylen basically whispered, he felt suddenly uncomfortable telling her his thoughts. He wasn't sure why. In all truth he was very tired, he only got a few hours of sleep before hand and then ran out what little he did have. He smiled softly, it had been a long day. "Will you be over tomorrow?" He asked her curiously, he would really like it if she could come back and spend the day again.
Rosa just smiled sweetly as Sirus just playfully waved at Carolyn. His grin was still wide across his face. He conjured a extremely soft child's blanket and covered Carolyn with it. He personally couldn't sleep without a blanket so he wanted to help make her more comfortable in her mother's arms. It was simple in design but still rather girly. "We'll have to do this again. I myself enjoy our time and I can clearly see my boys did as well." She said softly, she looked over at Daylen and Contessa. It was nice seeing him interact with someone other than a customer or his brother. |
Contessa blushed when he told her what he had imagined and smiled, "Oh I see." she said softly and giggled. "You shouldn't be so nervous Daylen. In all honesty, I hope I match the bride you just imagined." she admitted and wondered what he would think of her saying that. It was really sweet to see him so shy around her, she thought she was the only shy one here but he was too. She knew he was shy, but she never thought he was this shy. Married life with him was going to be interesting, and she really looked forward to it. Hearing his question, Contessa thought for a bit. "Yes, of course I'll be over tomorrow. Unless you don't want me to that is. I understand if you want a day just to yourself." she said softly.
"Say thank-you Carolyn." Grace said sweetly and chuckled when Carolyn giggled and looked at Sirus. "Yes we will, I think we all really enjoyed ourselves." Edward commented and looked over at Contessa who was talking to Daylen. "Good to see them getting along." he said and smiled. "Yes it is. They make quite a cute couple." Grace noted with a warm smile on her face. Edward nodded and ran a hand through his hair as he watched his daughter talk to Daylen. |
Nervous, how could he not be nervous? He was marrying a girl he barely knew, yet he was actually looking forward to it. To being with her. He closed his eyes gently. "You'll be even more beautiful then the image. You'll be real." He said once more in a whisper. He hoped she wouldn't think of him as a flatter but he honestly believed she would be breath taking. He found her attractive now, he could only imagine her as a bride. He sweetly looked at her and smiled his soft smile. "I like spending time with you, you're welcomed any time." He looked away when Sirus came back over to interrupt them. "Okay casanova, little baby is tired. Say goodbye." He said playfully to his brother and Contessa. He didn't want Carolyn to miss a once of sleep, after all babies needed all the sleep they could get.
Rosa just folded her arms over her chest at what Sirus just did, she would have words with him later. However she did agree it was time for a farewell, for Carolyn's shake. She would agree that Daylen and Contessa made a adorable couple, so shy in each other's presence. |
Contessa was not ready for his response which brought tears to her eyes and a huge smile on her face. "Y-You really mean that?" she whispered to keep herself from crying. "That is...that is the nicest thing anyone h-has ever said to me." she added in a soft whisper. Here she was, always trying to do anything she could to be accepted by Daylen and his comment confirmed it all. Oh she was so happy, she couldn't begin to describe how happy she was at the moment. Sure, maybe she was a little too happy, but she was going to marry someone she hardly knew. Any compliment from him was something she was always extremely happy to receive. "W-well then...I'll be here tomorrow, I promise."she promised quietly and she quickly wiped her tears so that neither Daylen nor Sirus would notice. "Goodbye you two, I hope you all sleep well and I look forward to coming back tomorrow." she said softly and curtsied.
Grace handed Carolyn over to Edward who easily carried her in his arms. He wrapped the soft blanket around her so that she wouldn't get cold and gently ran his fingers through her soft hair. |
Daylen had just nodded gently to Contessa, he really meant every word. He believed she would make a beautiful bride and he was actually happy that she would be his. He hoped that they would one day care for each other like his parents had, without the sad ending though. Both the twins nodded a farewell, however Sirus had to add a playful wave to both Contessa and Carolyn. "I'll pick you up in the morning Miss Contessa." Sirus chirped happily to his future sister-in-law. Rosa nodded a farewell to the D' Veen family before waving her hand transporting them all home.
Once they were gone, their mother just bid them a farewell before leaving as well. Daylen just walked over to gather his vest before going inside. Sirus following his twin to get his own vest and harass Daylen. "You really like her, don't you?" He asked his grumpy twin. Daylen just stopped in the kitchen and looked at Sirus plainly, his maids had came and went after cleaning the kitchen from their meal. "That look said it all." He said playfully clapping in excitement. Daylen turned and left his brother, he wanted to get cleaned up and just go to bed. Sirus just playfully waved his hands in the air as he followed his twin to his room. |
"I'm looking forward to it Sirus!" Contessa called back and waved before she and her family stood in front of their house again. "Well, today had been a very interesting day but it is time for bed." Edward stated softly as he led his family into the house. "I'm really tired. Goodnight Mum and Dad. I hope you sleep well. Goodnight to you too Carolyn, may you sleep a lovely sleep." she whispered to the sleeping Carolyn before kissing her parents cheeks and Carolyn's forehead then headed up to her room to get dressed for bed. Her parents quietly turned off all the lights on their way to Carolyn's room and carefully set her down in her crib then left to their own room to get some sleep themselves.
Contessa got dressed for bed and looked down at the photo she had set down on the side table. A small frown appeared on her face but it was replaced with a smile when she remembered Daylen's words. Quietly she opened the small drawer and pulled out the small box with the rings inside. Was she supposed to wear them now or once they were married? She wasn't sure, but she didn't want to lose them so decided it would be best to leave them in the box. The photo was placed inside the drawer as well before she closed it and crawled into bed, falling to sleep as soon at her head touched the pillow. |
Daylen instantly slammed the door to his room. "Sirus get them out of my room now!" He hissed darkly at his laughing twin. Daylen's face was red from both embarrassment and anger. The door to his room opened and a few half naked women came walking out into the hallway. Sirus laughed even harder when Daylen moved away from them. He lifted his hands up in defence when they tried to touch him. "Get out." He said to the females and Sirus. "Oh come on Daylen! You're getting married soon, you need a bachelor's party and you can't have those without stippers." Sirus said playfully as he hung a arm over his brother's shoulder. Daylen turned to face his twin, his right eye was twitching. "Get out and take them with you." He calmly stated before pushing past the women and slamming his bedroom door behind him. Sirus just teleported the strippers away with him. He felt as if he was going to wet himself from Daylen's reaction.
Once his brother was finally gone, Daylen went to shower. His face was still red from the incident when he left the bathroom. He would have to deeply scrub his room now. Right now he was too tired to care. As he got into bed he laid on his stomach, he snuggled one of his pillows as he drifted softly into sleep. However it didn't last very long, he relived the previous dream as the night before. After hours of trying to sleep Daylen left his room and went to get a cup of coffee then head to his study where he started to work in silence. |
Contessa slept easily that night. Her dreams consisted of gardens and other random things that she didn't understand. When she managed to wake up, she could hear her parents downstairs working on breakfast. Carolyn was probably still sleeping since she couldn't hear her. Contessa stared at herself in the mirror and frowned, she looked horrible. As if she didn't get enough sleep. Her hair was a bird's nest on her head, and her facial expression looked dead. "I need a shower." she said to herself and walked to her closet and pulled out her white sleeveless dress with a pink floral print and a denim blue waist ribbon that tied at the back. She grabbed some white flats and anything else she needed before heading to her bathroom and stepping into the warm shower she prepare.
She didn't take long before stepping out and drying off, then started getting dressed and quickly brushed out her curls. Looking into the mirror, she thought she looked nice and quickly headed down the stairs, almost falling but managed to make it to the kitchen without getting hurt. "Good morning Mum and Dad." she said happily. "You look awfully cheerful today sweetheart." her father noted. "I had a lovely sleep I suppose." she answered and turned to her mother. "Mum can you tie the ribbon for me and finish zipping the zipper all the way up please?" she asked. "Of course dear." Grace replied and looked at her husband. "Love bring down Carolyn will you? Breakfast is ready." she said and finished with Contessa. "You look beautiful dear. Any specific reason you wanted to wear this dress?" she asked and smiled. "I love flowers mum." Contessa answered. |
