Contessa frowned and hung her head, clearly disappointed in herself. "I'm sorry. I...I thought that perhaps I could comfort him somehow but you're right. I can't do anything right now even though I want to." Contessa answered and smiled weakly at Raymon, "Thank-you Raymon." she whispered and excused herself before leaving to her room and locked the door closed behind her. Setting no name down on the bed, Contessa removed her wet clothes and tried off with the towel then put up her hair in a messy bun after drying it off. Looking through her clothes in the closet, she pulled out her pajamas and pulled them on. They weren't exactly warm but after eating she'd be sure to crawl into bed, that would warm her up a bit. Contessa picked up the towel and the wet clothes in one hand, and picked up no name with the other, being careful as it snuggled close against her chest while she walked to the laundry room and tossed the laundry in the basket for tomorrow. Contessa wasn't too hungry but she still wanted to eat anyway, it would probably help her sleep. "Come along no name." she said and walked back into the kitchen quietly.
Raymon had just cheated and reheated the food for the party for their dinner. The other woman where just sitting talking quietly while eating at the table. Daniel just came in holding his stomach. He grabbed Raymon by the shirt and dragged him out of the kitchen. He was bleeding pretty heavy from his abdomen, well his racial healing was sealing his wound abnormally fast. He was whispering to Raymon in the hallway. Daylen didn't mean to hurt him and he knew that. He was asking if Raymon knew of any of Daylen's tonics that would help calm him down. Raymon couldn't help him there sadly, with that Daniel just left once more still holding his side. He would simply have to do it the hard way. Which would actually be hard with Daylen like this. "Wait, what are you planning?" Raymon asked the werewolf who just ignored him while leaving the house. Raymon just sighed heavily, he didn't like being left out of the loop.
Contessa took her seat at the table and noticed Daniel come in for what seemed like three seconds before he left again. He was bleeding again too which probably meant he had gotten close to Daylen. All Contessa could do right now was eat her food and hope she could get some sleep because it looked like Daylen wouldn't be changing back any time soon. She just really hoped he would be okay, she hoped Daniel would be okay too. He didn't look okay when he had come in a while ago but she trusted that he knew what he was doing. If he didn't know what to do then who would? Contessa ate her food quietly and pet no name who was now curled up in her lap. We'll get some sleep soon little guy. I just hope we can actually sleep. she thought to herself while continuing to eat her meal happily.
Raymon just sighed and started to clean up. It was probably fifteen minutes later that Daniel came in once more, this time from the hallway. He had to lean against the doorframe. He was pretty beaten up. He spoke to Raymon in ancient language letting him know what happened and where Daylen was currently. He flinched before passing out. Raymon and Amell instantly ran over to him. Thankfully he was wet from all the rain water. She began to heal his wounds. As she did she looked at Raymon who spoke softly to her before leaving the kitchen. Saria walked over and began to help her, she had cut her hand to help heal him with her blood. Both of them just concentrated on the injured werewolf in front of them. "What happened to him?" Kalikah asked curiously. "I only caught pieces of it, apparently Daniel had to knock Daylen unconscious. He is chained up in the dungeon darling." Saria said in reply. Amell nodded to assure her that's what they said.
Contessa was too busy eating the rest of her food, she was hungrier than she thought. Looking up when she heard movement, she saw Daniel was back again and then was on the floor. Quickly, she walked over to see that he was okay and was glad to see that he was going to be fine thanks to Amell's quick act of healing him. Contessa couldn't help but overhear what they said next about Daylen. This was worse then she thought, Oh Daylen was going to feel terrible when he transformed back...whenever that may be. As much as she wanted to sneak into the dungeon and look at him, she was too scared to go down there by herself, and she didn't want to upset anyone anyway. Sleep was more important to her since she had things to do in the morning. "I think I'm going to try and get some sleep. Goodnight everyone." she said quietly and quickly left to her room where she closed the door behind her. "Come no name, time to get some sleep." Contessa whispered as she slipped into bed and held no name close to her while she closed her eyes and tried to get some sleep.
Raymon was cooking breakfast for everyone early in the morning, Daniel was sleeping in his room and the women were all gone except for Amell. She sat in the kitchen talking to Raymon. She had stayed up all night with Raymon checking on Daylen from time to time. He was back to normal but she kept him drugged for the night. The storm was gone and the sun was out warming the kitchen. From time to time to took a sip from her coffee as they spoke. Most of the conversation was about Daylen, he was going to have a hard time dealing with his actions last night. They both knew it and neither of them were looking forward to it.
It was a miracle that Contessa was able to get some sleep, she was feeling refreshed that following morning. Quickly, she picked up no name and headed over to the laundry room to start washing the laundry that was piling up. It was still pretty quiet so she wondered if anyone was even awake at the moment. Quietly, Contessa walked over to the kitchen and smiled seeing Amell and Raymon still there. "Good morning." she said quietly. "I'm assuming everyone else left?" she asked and looked out the window, glad to see the sun was actually shining brightly. Today would be a perfect day to just get out and do some shopping.
Raymon and Amell smiled seeing Contessa. "Good morning." They both said in union. "Are you hungry? I made breakfast?" Raymon said as he cleaned up the mess from cooking. He had made her a plate and had it covered on the table from her. "I am going to check on Daylen if you want to see him Miss Contessa." Raymon had finished cleaning the dishes and the kitchen. He would let her eat though. "Daylen is back to normal, physically atleast. I kept him drugged so not sure about his mood when he awakes." Amell told her sweetly. She had ate her food and was now just finishing her coffee. She was planning on going down into the dungoen with Raymon.
Contessa shook her head, "No thank-you. I think I'll just do some chores today that I really need to get done." Contessa answered softly. "Thank-you for the breakfast Raymon, I really appreciate it." she thanked and walked over to the table were she took her seat an uncovered her meal. She didn't want to look at Daylen today, what would she even say? He would probably not want to see her anyway. Quietly, she started to eat up her breakfast in silence. At least Daylen was back physically, she knew he wasn't going to be fine emotionally though. Contessa knew that Daylen would end up hating himself again for what happened when it wasn't even his fault, it was Miaror's.
Raymon just frowned lightly at her words. Guess the fight between them was worse than he thought. Even Amell just frowned lightly at this, knowing Daylen he would just shut himself off after this. She would tell Contessa this but figured she wouldn't really care at this point. She seemed didn't really want to see him or have anything to do with him after Daniel forced her back inside last night. She sighed and stood up. "It's okay Raymon, I can go down alone." She told him sweetly before leaving the room. Raymon just nodded and started to do his daily kitchen routine.
Amell just made her way into the basement first then down into the dungeon. Daylen was still sleeping off the drugs. Raymon had cleaned and dressed him in clean cloths, granted he washed and dried the ones he was wearing so he didn't have to wake up Contessa. She just opened the cell's door and walked over to him. She felt his forehead, he was hot but he would be fine. She just sat on the edge of the bed, checking his vitals. He seemed perfectly fine but she knew he wasn't. |
Contessa finished up her food to her surprise and then placed the empty dishes in the sink then ran off to continue with the laundry. She had left some laundry cleaning before eating her breakfast and was not surprised to find it done. Grabbing the laundry, she tossed it in the dryer and tossed the rest of the laundry into the wash to get cleaned. Once the drying clothes was all dried, she took it up to her room and set it on the bed and began to fold it neatly after putting no name down on the bed. "Relax no name, I just cleaned this so please don't get close to it." she said to her little pet who lay on the bed and watched her. Contessa began putting everything away where it went then left to put the rest of the washed laundry into the dryer and cam back to take a quick bath and get dressed to leave.
Finishing up her bath, Contessa quickly got dressed in a floral pattern dress and left back to the laundry room where she tossed her pajamas into the basked and grabbed all the dried clothes, taking them back to her room to fold them and put them away. Once that was done she picked up no name and headed down to the kitchen. "I need to go get a few things Raymon and I don't think I can take him with me. Can you take care of him for me while I'm gone?" she asked nervously. |
Raymon just looked back at Contessa and shook his head softly. "I'm sorry Miss Contessa but Master Daylen is really sick right now. Miss Amell has left, she has appointments to keep. I have to care from him or it could get worse." He told her softly, he honestly didn't have the time. On top of caring for Daylen he needed to care from Daniel. He was still in bad shape. "My time will be running from Master Daylen to Daniel. I simply won't have the time. Forgive me." He told her in his sweet tone before returning to making something to eat for Daniel and getting a packet ready from Daylen. He got a large bowl filled it with some ice and water, placing a rag in it. He turned to Contessa. "Perhaps one of the maids can." He hoped she wouldn't be mad at him for refusing to care for her little pet but he honestly had too much to do today.
Contessa only nodded and smiled, "It's alright Raymon I understand. This just means this little guy will be spending the entire day with me." she started and ran a hand through her messy hair. "I don't think he will but if Daylen asks where I am, just tell him I'm working." she said and smiled before waving, wiggling her nose and vanishing from the kitchen with no name in her arms. Blinking, she appeared in what looked like a arts and crafts store. "Well then, let's see what we can find." she said to no name who was snuggled in her arms and looking around. "First I need paint and a lot of it since I'm not sure how much I'll need for a room. I also need paint for the furniture I'll be restoring and the toys. I need brushes, and canvases. At least three Canvases." Contessa said to herself as she walked through the store and looked around.

-Time skip again.-
Raymon had finally moved Daylen back into his bedroom. He was his normal self when he had been awake for a small period of time. Once more he was under his sleeping tonic, he still had a high temperature. He was shivering but his skin was sweaty and hot. He had drank allot to keep the thirst at bay, being asleep it should last longer. Raymon had just set down a fresh bowl of ice water on Daylen's night stand, a cool rag was resting over his forehead. Making sure everything was okay once more he set off to start dinner after checking up on Daniel. Daniel had been up and moving around for a few hours. Raymon was forcing him to take breaks from time to time but like Daylen he was highly stubborn. Raymon just went into the kitchen to see Daniel cooking. "I told you to rest." He said plainly to the werewolf, who just ignored him like always. Raymon just sighed, he had to pick the most stubborn guy to hire didn't he. |
Contessa had found everything she would need for what she planned on doing, and once she had payed for it with the money in her account courtesy of Daylen, she vanished back to the kitchen of the manor to see that Daniel was making some food. Wasn't he supposed to be hurt? "Hello you two. Nice to see you up and about Daniel." she said quietly before excusing herself and heading up to the master bedroom, her blank canvas as she liked to think of it. "I think I can do this. It's going to take me a very long time but I can do it. Now then, I need you to behave okay no name? Stay away from the paint." she ordered but knew the little guy would probably step on it. Quickly she grabbed a hair tie and tied up her hair in a messy bun again before opening the first can of Maroon paint. With a wooden stick, she mixed the paint before pouring some in a paint tray and made sure to keep no name away. "Careful no name. Here play with this." she said and threw a yarn ball over to the other side of the room, laughing softly when he ran off after it. "Good boy, play with that while I paint okay?" Contessa ordered and took her rolling brush, dipped it in the paint tray and got rid of the excess paint before she started painting the empty walls.
Daniel just looked at Contessa before going back to work. Raymon just smiled at her but before he could say anything she was gone. This felt awkward now. He couldn't help but wonder if things would be alright with her and Daylen. He just sighed when Daniel told him to mind his own business. He knew he was right but he didn't like this. Daylen shouldn't have opened up about how he truly felt about himself. He sighed once more before continue to help Daniel cook dinner. Once dinner was done, Raymon left to care for Daylen, Daniel was forced to sit down for a little or Raymon to sleep with him, nothing dirty he just sleep in the same bed. Daniel didn't like it and frankly he was sure if Raymon was joking or not. You never did know with him.
Contessa was tired, it was harder than she thought to paint each wall perfectly and she still wasn't even close to finished with the first wall. "Oh dear, this is going to take a lot longer than I thought." Contessa said to herself as she dipped the rolling brush in the paint, got rid of the excess paint and got back to painting the wall. The color was looking very nice from what she could tell although it would have probably been best to hire other people to do it for her but that wasn't the kind of person she was. Contessa liked doing these sorts of things and didn't mind if paint got on her since it would just wash off. "It will look very nice when it's all done won't it little guy?" she asked and looked back to see he was still playing with the yarn. "At least you're having fun little guy." Contessa noted quietly as she continued to paint the wall quietly while trying to keep her mind from worrying so much, Daylen would be fine though maybe it would be a good idea to go check on him really quick.
Raymon just changed the cloth on Daylen's head. His fever didn't seem to be going down. He set the bottle of sleeping tonic down near Daylen. He had to wake him up, he had brought a packet for him to drink. When Daylen finally opened his eyes Raymon helped him sit up and handed him the packet. Daylen just removed the cloth from his forehead and put it back into the bowl of water. "You should keep that on. You're fever is still high." Daylen just looked at the packet on his lap. He knew he needed to drink it but he wasn't really in the mood to. Raymon just weakly smiled. "I'll will return in a little, you should drink it before it gets warm." He told Daylen before leaving. He was going to get Contessa a plate ready and take it to her. Daylen just stood up and left the bedroom. For once he didn't feel like working, plus that would be the first place they looked. He just went into the music room and set down at the piano. He had set the packet of blood down next to him on the bench. He felt horrible about last night, he kept replaying the events in his head. It was just making him feel worse, even if it was just Miaror.
"He probably doesn't even want me to see him though, and I don't want to upset him any more than I already have." Contessa muttered to herself as she continued painting the wall carefully. She was starting to get pretty hungry again, but right now she wanted to get as much painting done as she could. Eventually she had finished one entire wall and now she was starting on the second wall. Contessa was humming softly to herself as she painted the second wall, it seemed like the painting was easier when she was humming to herself to stay focused. Without humming, she began thinking of Daylen and she really didn't want to, he was going to be perfectly fine...she trusted Raymon to take very good care of him. He always did anyway. "Do you think Daylen will like this when it's all completed?" she asked no name once she had stopped to take a break and sat on the floor. The store didn't have canvases in the sizes she looked for so she had to get a few of the next biggest size. Taking a pencil, Contessa focused on sketching out something on the canvases as she laid them in front of her.
Raymon was carrying a tray for Contessa he was looking for her, however he dropped the tray when he checked their room. Daylen was gone. He ignored the mess and went into Daylen's study, he wasn't there either. Raymon went to basically every door, he looked in every room. When he came across locked door, he knocked and called for Daylen. He skipped the music room without noticing. He opened the master suite and saw Contessa sitting on the floor. He weakly smiled at her. "Have you seen Master Daylen by any chance?" He asked her nervously, he felt like a moron for losing him. "I left him in bed but he isn't there and he isn't in the study." He explained to her before she could ask. He would have to note where she was, hopefully she didn't move from the room. He sighed, Daylen always disappeared on him.
Contessa was busy drawing when Raymon opened the door, making her look up from her work with a smile. "Oh hello Raymon, nice to see you." she said. Her smile faded when he mentioned having lost Daylen. "Daylen is in the house now?!" she asked, completely surprised. "W-well no I haven't seen him all day to be honest. But if he really is in the house I might have an idea as to where he might be." she started. "Have you checked the music room?" she asked and offered a small smile. "He loves to play the piano, especially when he's depressed. So if he's as upset as I think he is, he should be in there. If he's not there he could be visiting Sirus." Contessa explained, hoping the information was helpful.
Raymon just thought for a minute, he was pretty sure he checked the music room. "I thought I did." He just looked at her and nodded a thanks. He was about to leave but stopped, he turned to look at Contessa. "Miss Contessa, forgive me for prying but are happy?" He asked her suddenly. "It's just seems like you been avoiding Master Daylen today, and the way you act sometimes just makes me wonder." He just looked at the floor, he knew Daylen could sense something was up from what he was reading off him and Daniel. Raymon just shook his head. "Never mind you don't have to answer. It's none of my busy. Dinner is ready." He spoke before she could. Raymon left the room quickly not giving her a chance to talk before closing the door behind him. He went to check the music room, he just peeked in and saw Daylen at the piano. He was just staring at the keys, blood like tears had streaked his face. Raymon just closed the door. He would let Daylen be alone for a while, he needed to think to reflect on last night.
Contessa smiled and nodded back before getting back to work. However she looked back up when Raymon spoke again. "You are not prying, you are legitimately concerned and that's okay." she started and was about to answer but he had left before she had gotten a chance to explain herself. Frowning, Contessa stood up and picked no name up in her arms before leaving the room and closing the door behind her. If dinner was ready she would eat and maybe then she could explain herself. Maybe she could even go look for Daylen. Oh she wanted to, she really, really wanted to but she knew she couldn't. Contessa didn't want to risk the chance of upsetting Daylen, and if he really was in the music room perhaps it was best to leave him alone. Well too bad! He can yell at me all he wants, I just need to see him and make sure he's okay. For all I know he probably actually wants to see me. If he doesn't he could always just ask me to leave. Contessa thought to herself as she walked into the kitchen.
Raymon had cleaned the mess from the tray he had dropped, he stood in the kitchen with Daniel. He was forcing him to eat. Though Daniel wasn't budging. He wasn't eating the meal placed before him. Unlike Daylen, Daniel didn't break to people's orders to make them feel better. "Come on Danny, just a little." Daniel just looked plainly at Raymon. "Call me Danny again, I dare you." Daniel spoke forcefully. Raymon just looked at the werewolf, part of him wanted to say it again but the other part was scared to. Especially after he learnt how Daniel had to knock Daylen unconsciousness and the damage he took to do it. Raymon just leaned against the counter smiling at Daniel. "You should eat so you can recover from Daylen's beating." He chuckled at his own words. Daniel just plainly stared at the immortal, he knew what he was up to. He wouldn't fall for it.
Contessa could already hear both Raymon and Daniel discussing and chuckled softly. "Oh dear, It seems like no one wants to eat today Raymon." she said quietly and yawned softly. Wow already tired? Jeez Contessa why so lazy lately? she thought to herself and took a seat at the table. "Did you find Daylen, Raymon?" she asked curiously, wanting to know where he was to later visit him maybe. Why didn't Daniel liked being called Danny? Danny was a really nice name, so she didn't see why he would hate it. Maybe she just didn't understand because she herself didn't have any nicknames. Not that she knew of anyway. Raymon was right though, Daniel needed to eat and Daylen needed to just rest. She wasn't sure if he needed to drink blood right now but if he did she was sure that Raymon would make sure he drank some.
