Nostalgia Kick
Every now and then I get into the mood to listen to songs from my childhood. Lots of 80s pop and Disney (ok and some newer Disney songs too) If I had been born 10 years later I'd probably really not enjoy this music at all. I'm more into metal and pagan folk type musics.
I wonder what it is about human minds that make us look back at the past. *currently listening to The Never Ending Story* |
I'm a 90s kid, and I can tell you I don't care for 99% of 80s music. I like 90s songs for the same reason, and sometimes the 70s remind me of back in the day because my momma's a 70s adult, so there was a lot of that music in the house when I was little. My attitude toward those is more like, "Hoo boy, momma would be jamming right now!" versus just, "Boooring…"
I remember some Japanese songs from back in the day, and I'm sad that I can't find those again. |
