Smog doesn't sound fun to deal with.

Inspection stickers had gotten really hard to find and most people didn't update them anyway, so they decided to just get rid of it. It's not like you couldn't buy them off the "black market" if your car wasn't really up to code.

Out here you can get a waiver if it doesn't pass, but the repairs have to cost a certain amount and that you can't afford the repairs. You can only get the waiver once and then the next time you have to get it fixed. But, it seems that AZ doesn't really enforce the tags. I've worked with people that went a few years without registering. Which is nuts. In CA they are SUPER strict...probably cause they want their money. Penny pinching bastards.

Mondays, Friday and the end of the month are bad for me as well. Working in Escrow everyone wants to know if you got money on Monday, Friday, they want to know if things are moving forward with their transaction and the end of the month it's all about pushing files to close, close, close. Crazy how fast they want things to get done sometimes.

Ugh. Yes. The media has pissed me off so much with this. I mean, I generally take what they say with a grain of salt, but they made this so much worse than it needed to be. "An RSO deputy shot and killed a mentally unstable black man today in the middle of the day right outside a gas station! He wasn't doing nothin' wrong we promise, but they killed him!"

Completely ignored that he had a knife in his hand and was charging our deputies. Completely ignores the sister and deputy in the hospital from an earlier altercation with him that day. Complete ignores the man he stabbed prior. Not to mention all the other facts that we haven't released to the public, but seriously? the part that makes me maddest is that the only saving grace was that it was a black deputy that pulled the trigger because otherwise it'd be made into a race issue when it wasn't. It was the deputies doing their damn jobs ><

Yeah, be kind of hard to point out that it was race related, or race hatred because they are both ethnic. The media has to sensationalize every fucking thing that happens with the police because that's the big topic these days. Never mind the fact that there are far more sinister issues going down. I absolutely HATE the way people treat cops these days!!!! You decide it's ok to criticize every decision any cops make because you like attacking them for doing their job??? Ok....let me come down to your job and point out everything I think you're doing wrong, whether I'm correct or not! Cops are in a high stress situation every day. Excuse them if they're not doing everything absolutely perfectly (by the critic's standards) when they could lose their life any second [roll]
