Same here. My husband spends much more money than I do.
And he spends it on stuff that I would ordinarily have no issues buying, if I had budgeted for it. Like grocery shopping, I ask him what he wants for the next two weeks cause that's what I have budgeted for and his response, "I don't want much" and we literally don't get much. Then a few days later he gets a few things and a few days later a bit more. Can't we just buy it all at once! When I have coupons and save some money for the love of pete. Grr.

This garage is an absolute mess. 5 karts, a Sandman panel van and a Dirt Modified fit in there somehow, everything else in the gaps.

I like with them, technically. I'm paying more bills than they are though, I'm pretty sure.

Karts are amazing! Haven't driven one in awhile. Not since my husband and I moved to Arizona and my friend that had them no longer lives near us. Damn.

Gotcha. Still sucks when others spend your money for you.

I'd be a little less miffed with him if he TOLD me that he was going to spend money. Instead of me going to him and asking about withdrawals from the account and then I get an explanation for the spending. That's what drives me right over the edge.

You two would absolutely hate when I go kart shopping.
It's one big trip, then another 3 or 4 afterwards as we find more things we need or forgot on the earlier ones.

That's a hobby, not essential living stuff. I'd be more tolerant of that, mostly because my dad does the same shit when he is doing a project. The first trip is always for what he knows he needs and then the subsequent five or six trips are for things he didn't realize he would need, or would make the job easier. Let me tell you, the invention of the camera phone made these trips easier cause guess who got to drive to the hardware store... your's truly. [:?]

I usually go grocery shopping by myself. When he goes, it's like shopping with a kid. He runs off and comes back and just dumps it in the car, while I'm trying to keep track of how much is being spent.

I hate when I'm leaving and ask him what he wants. He always says, "you know, the usual." And then, he complains about the usual.

Rodd does the same thing. It's not until we get up to the check stand that I realize there are extra items in the cart. Things I didn't pick out, or price. Sure, most things are off label because they taste the same, somethings don't so I buy the name brand. He buys name brand all the time. Kills me.

Makes sense, a nice consistent base, mixed with a healthy ebb and flow of new comers. Keeps things interesting that way and not so stagnant.
