The 300-sided dice lands on 135
Good evening, star. |
evening star.
@Poet- but every person has there own idea of what corruption is. Society dictates right and wrong, and molds people, but in the end each person determines their own morals. A corrupt person doesn't think they are corrupt, but someone else will. ---------- Post added 07-18-2015 at 11:30 PM ---------- oops, forgot the dice [:D] The 300-sided dice lands on 178 |
That's true. Though I guess in a way, we are all corrupting in one way or another, because most humans are like sheep. They will follow any Shepard they find.
|
Hey guys are we still in a game? What are we rolling and what is the number we are after?

We are rolling a 300 dice in an attempt to get a 202. |
Got it. Thanks. The 300-sided dice lands on 46
I hope I did this right, its been a bit. |
We all influence each other. And I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Its certainly not always corruption.
But people will always have different moral codes. No one wakes up in the morning and says to themselves, "I'm going to corrupt innocents." Everyone thinks they're doing the right thing, or they wouldn't be doing it. The 300-sided dice lands on 181 |

They were discussing corruption and whether it can be battled by other types of corruption. |
I think the real question is, can it be battled without other types of corruption.

Interesting. My first thought is that more corruption isn't going to fix it but make it worse.

Iunno tho. Its hard to get any power if you're not willing to play the game of the people in power.

There actually are people who go out of their way to corrupt innocence. :( Sadly.

Ionno. If someone needs The Talk, I'll give them The Talk.
But I think everyone who does something does it 'cause they think its good one way or the other. |

I think people doing corrupt things do know what they are doing wrong. Like, ponsy schemes. |
It is. I mean if you stoop to their level, don't you become like them? There are so many instances of criminals who started out with noble intentions but they are still criminals and in trouble with the law.

I think most people practicing corrupt behavior know what they are doing is wrong, but they make excuses for what they are doing that makes it right in their eyes. Like, someone close to me was stealing, but he would make excuses for what he was doing that made it seem better in his eyes. Like "well, so-and-so company pays its employees so little, even though the company makes so much money, so what does it matter if I steal something?" That sort of thing. People make excuses for their bad behavior in all sorts of circumstances. |
So true. We as humans know we are wrong so we have to make excuses to make ourselves feel better about it.

My husband makes me drink V8 juice daily for vegetables. He snuck sriracha in it earlier. Now, my stomach feels unsettled. I've never tried sriracha, because I don't like the smell. I don't think it likes me either. |
That doesn't sound good First to Never Know. I hope your stomach feels better soon.
Gizmo I know the feeling. Its been blistering hot and humid here in Nebraska too. The 300-sided dice lands on 238 |
