Haha at least ya'll can make stuff. My fingers really must just be for show, I can't do crafts and I certainly don't have the dexterity or nimbleness for things other than drawing. :P

Dystopia 07-20-2015 04:41 AM

Hey, I think drawing's pretty great.

I can't knit. Tried, didn't do so well. Crochet on the other hand, very easy.

At least you can draw! Better then what most can do, myself included. Do you do art here on mene?

Veno 07-20-2015 04:53 AM

Kudos to anyone who can draw. My stick figures. are dis-figured. Lol

Dystopia 07-20-2015 04:54 AM

I think knitting scarves barely counts as knitting...

Veno 07-20-2015 04:57 AM

I can't knit so it totally does count. :)

Dystopia 07-20-2015 05:00 AM

I haven't done it in a long time. I feel a little bad about it.

Veno 07-20-2015 05:05 AM

I've wanted to learn to knit or crochet my entire life just never gotten around to it.

Dystopia 07-20-2015 05:08 AM

Oh. My mother taught me. That's why I feel bad I don't do it more often.

Veno 07-20-2015 05:17 AM

well it's never to late to start back.

My mom taught me a lot in the kitchen and with gardening. Along with other things.

Dystopia 07-20-2015 05:18 AM

My mother tried. But I was a pretty stubborn student. :I;;

Veno 07-20-2015 05:22 AM

Lol there was a lot of things I didn't want to learn until I got up older, probably the past couple years.

Dystopia 07-20-2015 05:28 AM

I still don't really wanna cook. I wanna marry a chef. cries.

Veno 07-20-2015 05:34 AM

I adore cooking. except for lately. I don't like enjoy being in a hot kitchen during summer and on my feet doing so while wicked prego. haha

Dystopia 07-20-2015 05:37 AM

ogawd. No, go sit in a pool. [gonk]

Veno 07-20-2015 05:41 AM

I actually get in my pool a ton. It helps make everything feel better and relaxes me. :)

Dystopia 07-20-2015 05:43 AM

I can't imagine a pregnant woman in our kitchen. Its so small, she might not even be able to turn around!

Veno 07-20-2015 05:46 AM

Oh yikes! Thankfully my mom has a huge kitchen. Well not like gigantic or anything but decent sized I guess you could say.

Dystopia 07-20-2015 05:51 AM

Even if you do still fit, you shouldn't be cooking. People should be cooking for you! >:U

Veno 07-20-2015 05:55 AM

Being pregnant isn't like a handicap or anything. haha I've done basically the same things I've done. I just quit doing my full exercise routine around 4-5 months pregnant because you're not suppose to lift heavy things or over exert yourself. But I've still gotten on my treadmill or went on walks and did some light lifting and of course my yoga. Lol The only thing I've really had to change was the fact I can't lift or move things that around like 15 pounds.

Dystopia 07-20-2015 06:01 AM

Iunno. I think it could be considered a handicap. 'cause your body becomes all different and you can't do all the things you used to do anymore, and you don't have the same energy 'cause you're carrying around an extra baby all the time, and you gotta be careful so you don't get hurt and stuff.

Veno 07-20-2015 06:04 AM

That might be the case for some people, but not for me. I just don't see mine as a handicap. For the most part pregnant women up until like the last month can do just about the same stuff. Cept maybe tie their own shoes. xD

Dystopia 07-20-2015 06:05 AM

Well, I think its worth treating pregnant women as carefully and as indulgently as any other handicap.

Veno 07-20-2015 06:17 AM

Don't get me wrong I use to totally think that, but I hate when people just assume I can't do something because I'm pregnant. I mean yes pregnant women deserve some special treatment, and in some cases pregnancy could be a handicap but if someone treats me like I can't do something just because I'm pregnant it's like saying to me "oh you're blonde you must be dumb" But then again most people have zero tact or respect. I mean obviously give your seat up if someone is handicap/old/pregnant or offer to help them reach an item that seems too high or low.

Dystopia 07-20-2015 06:21 AM

I don't think anyone ever means to offend you or doubt your capabilities, pregnant or not. But I can understand why people generally tend to be overly cautious with a pregnant woman.
