Foggy raised an eyebrow.

"Is that a bad thing?" he asked. "I mean, I like to think I'm a decent guy, and I'm a damn good lawyer."

"I see," Kendra said. She absently reached down and discharged some static on the leg of the folding chair next to her. The spark snapped loudly, and her hair immediately flattened some.

"Being a good lawyer isn't necessarily a good thing," Bianca pointed out. "Landmann and Zack are good lawyers, but they're class-A dicks."

Pietro snorted a bit at that. "Are you always staticky?" he asked with a bit of a shit-eating grin. Wanda just sighed.

"This is true," Foggy agreed. "They are definitely class-A dicks. But I'm not them. Or with them, even." He held his hands up. "Foggy Nelson, of Nelson and Murdock, Attorneys at Law."

"How about I give you a bit of a charge and you can find out?" Kendra replied sweetly, glancing at him.

"Okay, you're back to being a decent person again." Bianca did actually relax at that, when he agreed with her about L and Z. "So you have to go lawyer, and no offense, but I don't think I'm comfortable staying here all day while you're gone."

Pietro laughed at that. "Only if you can catch me," he said with a wide grin.

Wanda sighed, but her lips were twitching with amusement.

Foggy considered that for a moment.

"I can drag you to the office with me," he suggested.

Kendra gave him a flat look.

"Are you always like this?" she asked.

"Will there be more coffee? And potentially food?" Because that was a very serious consideration at this point.

"Yes." Pietro grinned.

"I would say he was raised by bears, but unfortunately we've never been separated, and we lived in a town." Wanda sighed. "He's rather hopeless."

"There will be coffee," Foggy said, nodding. "And--we will find you some food."

"So you guys are related?" Kendra asked, latching onto something a bit more normal to talk about.

"Okay. Then if it's okay, yeah, I'll go with you. Your partner won't mind?" Bianca refilled her coffee and quirked a brow at him, tipping the carafe a bit to ask if he wanted more.

"Twins," Wanda said.

"I'm older."

"By five minutes!"

"He won't mind," Foggy said firmly. "I promise." He waved towards the rest of the kitchen. "Feel free to forage, if you want. I'll be ready to head out in about an hour."

"Twins?" Kendra asked, blinking. She looked between them both. "Okay, yeah, I can kind of see it, actually."

"Alright." Bianca settled in to the kitchen, poking around a bit and finding an apple to munch on in the meantime. If she was going to be awake through the day, she needed food.

"Not many people can," Wanda said with a shy smile. "They don't believe us at first."

Foggy made sure she was alright for a little while, and then went to grab a quick shower. Matt totally owed him for this.

"It's... I don't know, something," Kendra said. "I can't quite put my finger on what it is."

Bianca waited patiently until Foggy was ready to go, and then she gathered up her purse again.

"How far is it to your office?"

Wanda shrugged. "You can tell, though," she said. "That is still better than most."

"Not far," Foggy replied, grabbing the backpack he used. "Walking distance."

"Really?" Kendra asked. "I knew you were something to each other, I just wasn't sure what."

"Okay." Bianca rolled her shoulders. "Should be fun. Never spent the day in a law office before."

"Most people assume a different type of relationship," Wanda said with a little shrug.

"It's not as glamorous as in the movies," Foggy warned, though he was grinning a bit.

"I wasn't sure what to think," Kendra admitted. "And I had no idea how to ask tactfully."

"Good, I don't think I need any guns being waved around today," Bianca said with a little grin of her own. "Just coffee. Lots of coffee, all the coffee."

Wanda laughed a little at that. "Twins," she confirmed. "We've been together since we were born."

"There will be coffee, I promise," Foggy said as he headed out of the apartment. He locked the door behind them. "Though if you drink all of the coffee we may have some issues, just saying."

"Bee and I are close," Kendra said, nodding. She paused. "Though... Not quite THAT close."

"I can make coffee, I worked at a coffee shop for three years," Bianca said with a shrug, clearly unworried.

"A few years between you two?" Wanda asked with a little grin.

"Unless we run out of coffee," Foggy pointed out. "Sometimes actually a danger around here."

"Just one," Kendra replied. "A little more than one."

Bianca snorted. "Well, if that happens, I'll venture to the corner store. Since, y'know, I'll be the non-productive person in the room."

"Ah." Wanda smiled. "Who is older?"

"Karen gets paid to do it," Foggy commented absently as he checked his phone. "Or she will, once we actually finish some things."

"I am," Kendra replied. She grinned a bit. "A year matters a bit more than five minutes, in the grand scheme of things."

Bianca snorted at that. "Oh please tell me the mask didn't send me to a brand new, starving lawyer," she said with a grin.

Wanda laughed. "You would not believe how often he tries to use that," she said.

"Lies!" Pietro yelled from somewhere else in the apartment.

"We're not starving," Foggy replied indignantly. "...Yet," he added, as an afterthought. "But it doesn't matter, we'll have clients soon, we'll be fine."

"I'll believe it," Kendra replied, grinning a bit. "I'm not surprised at all."

Bianca shook her head. "Well, let me know how that goes," she said with a bit of a grin, motioning for him to go first as they got to the office door. "Unless I'm still in protective custody by then, in which case I'll already know."

"Five minutes hardly makes a difference," Wanda said with an indignant sniff. "And yet he thinks it makes him more responsible. Or something."

"Well, we'll see what happens," Foggy said as he tested the doorknob first. When the knob turned easily, he blinked a bit and then shook his head. "Well, Matt's here, at least. Or Karen. But I'd put money on Matt."

Kendra couldn't help but snicker a bit.

"I wouldn't know, I don't have a brother," she said.
