(work tonight? That is alright I know how things get and finished season two, a few days ago that is)

"Oh? Well I think I'll like this time era then." Ahni said swimming on her back relaxing while heading back to shore "I guess we're even on speed while swimming, I always did love to swim" she smiled feeling the water around her making any worries she had wash away.

"Alright then" Roy knew there was use to argue with her over making alot, if that is what she wanted to do, he wouldn't stop her. It wasn't like it was a bad thing, he looked down at Fluffy then sat on the floor next to the robotic dog petting it. Maybe because he had a robotic arm he thought of petting the creature since they were similar in a bit.

((not tonight,tomorrow night then thursday night then off for 3 days))

Kaldur smiled a bit as he swam along side her."i hope you do like it here, its far from perfect,but its still pretty great",he said softly.

Volossi turned smiling softly at Roy and Fluffy."he likes you",she said softly.Flipping a burger she watched the food closely.

Fluffy sat there and wagged his tale,just like a real dog would

"I see that, he acts alot like an actual dog doesn't he?" Roy asked adding "How did you get the design right with his personality as far as acting like a real dog?" Roy asked taking interest in the robotic pet.

"Oh I think I will, as long as the government doesn't try to contain me again. Last time that didn't go so well and now I am here" though the last part wasn't so bad on her part.

Kaldur."the government?do you remember what happened to you now?",he asked stopping."why would they try to contain you?",he said feeling worried,hoping that she wouldn't turn out to be a enemy"

"He sure does",Volossi said turning to him."well i based him off a dog i had when i was little,then started from there,wtching dog vidios on the computer and such,i knew what i was looking for so it was kind of easy"

"So it sort of clicked? Wow, have you always been this smart since you were a kid?" Roy asked standing up leaving Fluffy to sit there as he walked over to where she was cooking at. Though his mind earlier had relaxed now.

"Of course I remember what happened. No one asked for details and honestly it's not important. I just don't like the government to be honest." She stopped moving her arms to float there "Those who tried to capture me are most likely dead, retired, or just no longer looking for me." She spoke, if specific questions were asked then she would answer them, but otherwise she wouldn't say a word.

Volossi blinked as he stood and came over."yeah",she said softly and smiled."and unfortunately yes,being a tech genius isn't always fun",she said leaning back a bit,trying not to think up about her messed up child hood, though she immediately stood straight yelping when her right hand touched the pan.


"well why was the government after you?",he asked calmly."and yes the odds are anyone that could bring you harm is long gone or as you said,retierd"

Roy took her hand in his "Come on, leave the food for now" Roy said turning the burner down to low moving her over to the sink, it wasn't a bad burn, but you always run a burn under cold water. Not ice. Water. Turning on the cold water he held her hand under the streaming water. "There, do you feel better?" Roy asked as he had done this several times for himself in the past whenever he got burned from cooking.

"Hm well" she moved her hands to her side swaying with the water "I'm a freak, back during the forties no one wanted to listen. If you were gay, a student in love with a teacher, or just a freak like me. No one wanted to listen, they only wanted to make examples or weapons out of you. They never got me though, my inner self kicked in...I froze myself in the water as a defense, but they couldn't locate me." Ahni said wondering why "Why does the world have to be so cruel, can't people learn from the past to make it better?" she wondered out loud.

Kaldur looked sympathetic."well in a way it has gotten better,my friends and I all have powers.... were,heros to the world,we help people,most of them acceot us,but there will always be those who will be crule,as much as we wish they wouldnt be...."

Volossi blinked and felt her cheeks warm up when Roy took her hand and noved her over to the sink.She blinked as he held her hand under the cold water.Blining a bit as she finaly registered and answered his question."y-yes I feel better,th-thank you",she was not use to having another person care,or be nice to her.So it threw her off to say the least.

"Well sounds better than my time, they tried to advance me when they caught me the first time, but before they could try I escaped. It's not a good idea to have a lab near water when one of your captives can swim as well as a fish." She laughed a little then sighed "So where does this leave me now I wonder..." staring at the sky.

"Alright" Roy said taking a towel after shutting off the water and placing it over her wet and burned hand. "Why don't you let me finish up with the food. I don't mind, I have to do something to start returning the favor." Roy checked her hand a bit before walking over to the food "Or at least I'm going to supervise if anything" though he was almost tempted to tell her to take a seat, but it was her place.

Volossi blinked a few times watching him looking really shocked at his actions.She watched him go to the food,her mindclicked in again,she was so not use to this."uh-sure-only if you want to",she said and sat down blinking a bit.Fluffy made a weird beeping noise.She looked to Fluffy her face becoming a bit more red."quite you"

Kaldur watched her a moment."you can come with us",he said softly.Yes her coming with them was the most logical answer there was.

Roy was just being himself in a normal situation, who else was there for him to be sides himself. If he was the clone he could think about it differently since they were different, and less alike than most had thought. "Huh? Quiet for what?" Roy asked over hearing her speaking to her robotic pet as he finished up the food.

"But wouldn't your guardians disapprove of that?" Ahni asked knowing that not everyone was as nice as those she just met who accepted her without questions or expecting answers. "I mean wouldn't they try to pry into my past life?" what she didn't know was those who were after her in the past, well she couldn't escape so easily, but for now she was int eh safe zone.

Volossi twitched."uh",she had to think fast,the truth was too embarassing."oh about me being a assasin and yet so clumsy...",she said calmly.Yeah that was sooo convincing."and im sorry you had to take over,i was supose to be treatingyou"

Kaldur smiled some."once we all get to know it will be fine,besides you have powers right? so the safest plave for you to be is with us..."

Roy smiled a little, more like a smirk "It's alright, I would rather us take turns on sharing the work. I tend to like to do things to balance things out." Roy helped setting up the table and then said "It's ready and trust me, after those I have seen in action out in the field, you're pretty much normal. Just like the rest of us." on the clumsy assassin part, though he had a feeling that wasn't what she was talking to the robotic dog about, but let it go.

"Well cool" she started swimming again, but worried about her past coming back to haunt her. "Let's race back" she smiled acting like a child again who wanted to have fun more often.

Kaldur blinked a bit but sirked,."verry well,one...two....three!",he called out and started to take off lik lightning.Glad the mood had lightened up greatly.

Volossi blushed a bit as he set the table and smiled at the food."looks great",she then blined at her being called normal and smiled a bit."me normal?heh those are two words that i never thought i'd here in the same sentence"

Ahni laughed keeping up with pretty easily, swimming came natural to her, but then again back when she was born. It was on a beach pretty close to the water, so it was only natural that she loved water. They swam all the way back to the beach as it was a tie between them, she almost lost by an inch, but refused to let that stop her. She stood up in the water "Haha that was fun, we should do it again later sometime."

"Heh, yeah well it makes two of us" he sat down with her to eat what they both had made. "Just so I don't do it out of habit, does Fluffy eat regular food or?" he was curious about this, he used to have a pet dog and always fed it table scraps as a kid.

((sorry for vanashing act,yesterday was insane,slept most of it and today i was getting things ready for my mom's surprise birthday party tomorrow afternoon >.<))


Kaldur stood as well smiling a little."yes ,that was fun",he said calmly."next time we come here though I'll be sure to win",he said jokingly

Volossi blinked and smiled."no he doesnt eat real food",she said softly smiling a little more.She liked having another person arround.Though she kicked her self a bit to remind herself not to get use to it. He was going to end up leaving some day,when ever he wanted to...."well lets dig in",she said pushing the lonely thoughts out of her mind.

(I will get a post in before leaving for today, I'll be gone till the evening)

Roy grabbed a hamburger with some sides on his plate passing sides to her. "This is pretty good" was all Roy said while eating even while watching Fluffy look up at him as if begging. "If Fluffy doesn't eat real food, is he supposed to beg?" he chuckled a little.

"Haha we'll see" Ahni smiled hearing something start to beep as an alert to let everyone know they were needed in the city for a mission. Robin looks at his communicator he flipped open "The Icicle family is attacking the city, in the park, we need to get there now before they do any damage." Robin took off running for the cave interest as the others followed "Oh oh do I get to come along too?" Ahni asked thinking it sounded fun.

Kaldur smiled then blinked at the beeping knowing that there day off was now over he watced the others head for the cave."you can come,if your willing to help people",he said softly.

Volossi smiled."thanks,we make a good team....at cooking",she said as she took some sides and a burger.She then blinked looking to Fluffy and laughed."yes,just like a real dog would",she said softly,then blinked as a computer in the corner of the room beeped.
