Al laughed at the look on her face and went to try on the cloths she had gotten him rather please he had made her speechless.
Lori smiled. "It's not a dream anymore Roy. All we need is for them to elect you and your golden." |
Gemini waited patiently, wanting to see how the clothes looked on him.
"Easier said than done." Roy said. "I don't know if you've noticed, but I don't have the best track record with making people like me. I've made a lot of enemies, and if they're anything to go by..." He made a face. He didn't have a chance, without a miracle. |
Al came out in a light pink dress shirt and grey dress pants. "What do you think?" he asked smiling at her.
"Well then a miracle is what I'll do. I'll stay up all night getting you support if I have too." Lori promised squeezing his hand. |
Gemini blushed slightly. "You look great." She said. "Not many people can pull off that color, but I knew it would look good on you."
Roy squeezed her hand back. "Have I mentioned that I love you?" He asked, kissing her cheek. |
"Once or twice." Lori laughed. "Now if you want that miracle I'm going to have to leave you to go on the trail. Don't do anything stupid if you do Riza already has my permission to beat you."
Al grinned. "I didn't think I could pull it off but I look pretty good." he studied her. "I get why you bought it." he gave her a playful wink. |
Roy nodded. "Alright. I promise to behave. I'll see you later." He said, giving her one more kiss, this time on the lips.
Gemini blushed a little more. "I just thought it would look nice. Okay, my turn now." She stood up, holding another bag. "I'll try this on and you tell me what you think." |
Al sat to wait for her his imagination going a little out there with how she would look.
Lori blushed and hurried away collecting a group of helper. Together they went door to door making sure everyone would hear about Roy and the great plans he had. |
Gemini came out wearing a nice white blouse and a sky-blue skirt that went to her ankles. She had gotten white sandals to go with the outfit, as well. The blouse was tasteful, form fitting but not showing too much. All in all, it was simple but very pretty.

"You look wonderful." Al grinned and pulled her in for a kiss. "Like a desert princess."

Gemini blushed brightly and kissed him back. "Th-thank you." She said. She hadn't expected such a reaction from him- she certainly wouldn't have said as much about herself.

Al blinked. "I got a hotel by the way and we can take the cat as well." he grinned. "I'm good aren't I?"

Gemini beamed. "Good? You're the best!" She said, hugging him fiercely.

Al laughed and hugged Gemini back keeping her there as he missed her forehead head. "I'm glad you think so."

"I always thought so." Gemini blurted out, blushing as soon as the words were out of her mouth. It was true, though, she realized. She'd thought very highly of him since the day they'd met. "So, do we have any other plans to make, or are we free for the rest of the day?"

"I don't think there's anything else we need to get." Al smiled. "Let's go out." he offered her his hand.

Smiling, Gemini took the hand he offered happily. "Sounds fun." She said.

Al squeezed her hand gentle and lead the way to a cafe thing. "We can get a drink and then head out to the real date."

"Okay, that sounds great." Gemini said, casually swinging their hands back and forth between them.

Al smiled a little and ordered two drinks. He then lead the way to a small farm "Here we are." he smirked as he stopped in front of a sign that had a horse painted on it. "I got us horse riding lessons."

Gemini's expression brightened considerably. She loved horses, and had always wanted to learn to ride. "Oh my gosh, yes! Al, this is perfect, thank you so much!"

"Your welcome." Al laughed and headed up the driveway greeting the woman who came out to meet them. "Which one of you wants to go first?" she asked.

Gemini followed him happily to meet the woman. When asked who wanted to go first, she looked up at Al, holding back from calling it. It was only fair that he go first, after he did something this nice. "You can go, if you want."

"No I'm fine. You can go first." Al smiled at Gemini. "Go on." he picked a seat in the shade to watch. "Alright girl. First lesson getting on the horse." the woman smiled at her and held the horse still. "You use the stir ups and the horn to pull yourself up."

"Thank you!" Gemini beamed at him, overjoyed. She followed the instructor over to the horse. Before following the first instructions, Gemini reached up to pat the horse lightly. "Hello there. I'm going to try to ride you, okay? Let's be friends." She said, then went and focused on the stirrups. It took a couple tries, being as small as she was, but she finally managed to get herself up on the saddle.

"Alright now gentle touch her with your heels the harder you touch the faster she'll go so be careful. Hold tight to the reins. Pull left for left and right for right, straight toward you for stop." The woman held tight to the rope. "Just in circles for now."
