Lori dumped a pile of paperwork into Al's arms. "Here you are." she smirked.

"Goodness." Al blinked.

Roy flinched in sympathy. "That's brutal." He muttered.

Gemini put a hand on Al's arm. "Don't worry, I'll help you with it."

"Yours is worse." Lori pointed to the mountain. "Lets get started."

Al nodded and handed half to Gemini shrugging. "If you want to."

Roy sighed and went to get started. "Didn't we get halfway through everything last night? How is there still this much?" He complained.

"Of course I want to. I want to be there to help you all the time, with everything." Gemini said.

"I just don't know." Lori grimaced. "I think its multiplying."

Al sat at the table and got to work. Several hours later they finished the paperwork.

Lori groaned. "Finally done."

Roy let his head fall onto the table in front of him with a thud. "I can't feel my hand." He groaned.

Gemini set down the last of her work and yawned, though she still looked pretty energetic. "Good, we're done. What now?"

"Sleep?" Lori joked.

"Food?" Al's stomach grumbled.

Gemini's hand shot up. "I vote for food!" She said.

"I say food and then sleep." Roy said.

"Food and then sleep would be good." Lori smiled. "Lets go out I don't feel like cooking."

"We could cook." Al offered.

"Are you sure? You don't have to do that." Roy said.

Gemini waved a hand in dismissal. "Oh, nonsense, we're happy to help! I have a new recipe I want to make anyway."

"Well...I wouldn't mind." Lori shrugged.

"Cool." Al grinned and headed for the stove. "I'll help you Gemini."

Gemini smiled brightly and started taking out what she needed for the meal. "Thanks, I appreciate it." She said. "Could you start by chopping up those vegetables?"

Roy watched the two for a moment, then turned to Lori. "I know they're young, but I think they're pretty good together." He said. "They have a real chance of lasting a long time."

"Sure." Al got to work smiling happily

"I agree. Some day soon we'll be going to there wedding." Lori smiled then sighed. "I'm going to look fat in my dress."

"No I'm going to look like a beached whale." Lori pouted puffing her cheeks out.

Al glanced at the couple then at Gemini. "Do all girls get like that?" he asked in a whisper.

Roy brought Lori close and hugged her. "That is completely untrue, and I won't hear any more of it." He said.

Gemini shook her head. "Not all of them, no. Sometimes women have very smooth pregnancies. There's really no way to know until it happens." She whispered back.

"A sad beached whale." Lori pouted more. "At least you make me happy."

"I'm learning all kinds of things." Al smiled plating the table.

Roy rolled his eyes. "You just couldn't let it go without saying it one more time." He chuckled. "I'm glad I make you happy."

Gemini smiled. "That's good. My parents used to tell me you learn something new every day. They said that's what makes life so fun."

"You make my life fun." Al grinned at her kissing her cheek gentle. "Foods ready." he called.

Lori hopped over ignoring Roy as her attention turn to food. "Looks good." she dug in. "HOT!" she yelped.

Gemini blushed, smiling as she went about arranging the food so that everyone could reach. "Be careful, it's-" Just as she was about to warn them, Lori burned herself. "-Hot. Are you okay?"

Without hesitation, Roy went to get a glass of ice water and brought it back to Lori. "Here, sip this slowly, it should help." He said.

"That was stupid." Lori pouted sipping the water slowly.

"You didn't know it was that hot." Al pointed out. "So long as your not hurt."

"Exactly." Roy said. "Don't worry about it, okay?"

Gemini came over, looking like she was about to cry. "I'm sorry. I should have warned you sooner. I was so excited to make a nice dinner for everyone, and I've messed it up already."

"Don't worry hun. It's my fault for trying to eat to soon." Lori assured her. "it was good." she grinned and sat down to eat much slower this time.

"It's far from ruined." Al assured her holding out a seat for her.

"Okay...if you say so..." Gemini sniffled and sat down, thanking Al for holding the chair out for her. "I hope you all like it!"

After making sure Lori would be alright, Roy sat down and started eating- slowly, so that no more accidents happened. "It is very good." He complimented.

Lori nodded in agreement mouth full of food.

"Thanks." Al grinned with a slight blush.
