Clint sighed and stood. "Nat and I are going to start searching for that girl." Lori frowned then leaned back "Wish she had at least stayed long enough to give us her name." she mused then stood as well. "Lets get Loki back to Asgard." When Loki was sent away with the Tesseract with Thor. Lori turned to the others smiling she seemed ready to leave but she waited till it was just Banner, Tony and herself. Nat and Clint went to begin the hunt for the assassin "So what's the plan?" she looked at Tony. 'I figure Banner will help you on the computer front." she would need to go home for a visit like she had promised but if she was needed she would come back.

Steve frowned.'well it's not like any of us jumpde at the chane to ask...she had to be scared and confused,so if you guys find her,don't be hard on her",he said as he gave a wave and headed off on his bike

Tony sighed rubbing his head."we lay low until were needed again,get back to doing what we do best,I'll have Banner help try to help Nash and Clintn track down the ...the girl....but don't be a stranger, you should come visit sometime",he said looking her over ,a lost look in his eyes.

Miyu yawned as she got cozy,the mysterious man had all but vanished,she was reading a book on Japan,memorizing the language,how to write it,eveything.She had a 12 hour flight.She frowned a bit when the plne had shaken during take off but relaxed as it smoothed out.

"Like I could stay away. You boys don't know how to make a girl feel better." Lori teased. "I should return. I just need to check in with Cleo before she comes back." she chuckled then patted his arm. "I'll be back before you want me to." she grinned. "I hate the long trip though." she sighed and headed off hoping into the car shield had sent for her to us. "Don't miss me to much." she called as she drove off smiling.

Clint and Nat followed the small trail the assassin had left behind hoping to find her before she did something drastic. It wasn't much to go on but for two assassin's the signs where there if you knew where to look.

Tony watched her go and sighed."right"

Banner laughed"oh you have it bed"

Tony gave a glare."oh shut up ,com on kets get to work",he said softly.After a while,he had gotten a name, and sent it to Clint and Nash.Miyu Heartnet. But thats all he was able to find at the moment

Miyu ,was in Japan before she knew it,following the directions the mysterious man had given her,she headed for downtown Tokyo and wound up in a hudge deluxe two leval conto,built for a queen.She stared."wow",setting her things down she went to the balony and smiled softly at the veiw.Then ,after such a long trip,headed for the shower

Cleo fussed over her till Lori asked her to sing her a song. Falling silent at once the Lyric sang a beautiful song a mix between human and bird lulling Lori into a relaxed state. "Do you think papa will be alright?" she asked Cleo. 'Of course." Cleo said at once. "the master will be just fine and he will be back before you know it.'' Lori smiled Cleo had always know what to say to make her feel better. "So which of those boys to do you think would make a good life mate." Lori turned a pink color "CLEO!" she stuttered then hurried off. "never you mind." she huffed. She was relaxing when her phone rang "hello?" she mumbled. "We have a good lead...can we borrow your private plane?" Clint asked. "Sure." she smiled. "You'll need a good excuse...I suppose a wild goose chase will do." she chuckled. 'just tell me where you need to go and the plane can be ready in an hour." "japan." Clint blinked at the sudden silence. "Planes getting ready. Call Tony." she hung up to get dressed back into her normal cloths. Clint sighed wondering why he had to call Tony but he did.

Tony had been on his 10th shot and blinked."heeeelooo",he said with a bit of a slur.

"Are you drunk already?" Clint blinked. "Your no use at all but I figure I'll tell you anyway. Lori's taking us to Japan we think the assassin is there...I also think she's planning on leaving us and going off to find her father."

Cleo watched Lori pack her adventure bag. "Must you go?" "Cleo you know that papa vanished over there I've been looking for an excuse to go. I need to at least try." Lori sighed. "I promise if I'll give up if a month goes by and I don't find him." she promised to be careful and headed off driving the short way to the airport and waited for the others.

There was a few crashes."see you there",then there was a click,before they knew it Tony was there seeing Lori he smirked at her."why do i get the feeling this is a double mission for you?"

"Are you drunk?" Lori blinked at Tony then sighed. "Maybe it is." she glanced at the others and waved. "Hey Nat, hey Clint." she helped them get there stuff on the plane. "Lets go." she signaled to the driver and settled in for the ride glad she knew Japanese thanks to Cleo who had insisted on teaching her every language.

Tony rubbed his eyes."Japan...why Japan?",he asked softly."nice place sure",he pulled out his hologram tablet."I found some hidden files on her left over by the scientist...bt i cant get the files unclocked"

Lori, and Nat looked over his shoulder. 'I don't understand it either." Lori sighed and took the tablet from him. 'no electronics on the plane you." she glanced at it and blinked. "Looks like an old code to me." she mused then sighed. She handed it back once they where at regular height. When they hit a ruff path she grip his arm heart flying into her throat flames rippling across her body not hot but there.

"aw don't take away my new home work",he then blinked when she clung to him."hey relax,it's gonna be okay"

"yeah." Lori wished Cleo was there she would have pulled her close and brushed her hair singing softly. She gasped as the plane shook a little she was scared know but she trusted the pilot who had been flying for years. "Don't worry ma'am it's a bit of a storm but we'll be threw it in a little while." the pilot smiled. Lori nodded and took a deep breath glancing at Nat and Clint surprised to see them asleep "how can they sleep threw this?" she grumbled gripping Tony's arm tighter needing something to focus on.

Tony sighed an d suddenly pulled Lori into his lap.Keeping her close."there use to it",he said softly

Lori gasped and blushed feeling both relaxed and tense at the same time. "True...I hate storms." She bite her lip. "When I was in the orphanage a couple boys left me in the middle of a bad storm up in a treehouse. They said freaks weren't allowed in the orphanage and that as a fire bender the rain should wash me away." She rested her head on his shoulder breathing in the smell of his cologne and alcohol. "I was up there for three days terrified." She swallowed at the memory. "Cleo would sing to me during storms and Mercutio would tell a story." She smiled at that. "I don't want you to sing." Despite her terror he was warm and the soft hum of the arc reactor was kind of comforting.

Tony smiled."then I wont sing...if only those boys saw you know,they would regret what they did",he said keeping her close,his eyes feeling heavy

"I think they would try worse." Lori mumbled knowing those kinds of people never changed just got worse. "Don't you dare fall asleep." She gripped his shirt as the plane rocked one last time. "We are out of the storm." The pilot called back. "Thank goodness." Lori sighed she figured she should get off of him but he was comfy and her body wanted to do nothing but rest after having so much fear and adrenaline rushing threw her.

Tony grinned a bit."yes bit we also spent the past week fighing ademi godd",he said as the plane smoothed out."dot move",he grumbeled and dozed off

Lori blushed at Tony. "How would you know if I did?" She huffed but stayed there falling asleep with her head on his shoulder and her hand still gripping his shirt.

Tony slept like a log ,only waking when they got the warning when the plane would be landing shortly."well no",he grinned at Lori and blew in her ear

Lori jumped a mile as her eyes flew up. He found a flaming dagger in front of his face faster than he could blink. She stared at him still half asleep brain slowly comprehending what had happened. "You are an ass." She hissed as Clint laughed.

"She's got good instincts though." Clint smirked at Tony.

"The fact that you got that freaked out and forgetfl worries me",Tony said letting her go."were landing soon",he looked out his window and sighed."now how do we ind her in all of that",he said pointing ti the hudge city of Tokyo

"Sorry...Mercutio use to do the same thing so he could have the excuse to touch me." Lori looked away as she climbed off his lap. "Papa taught me how to get him to stop...old habits die hard...I did forget it was you. Your comfy and well it's not everyday that situation happens." She blushed. "I'll buy you something to make up for it."

"Nat and I will track her down. Even seasoned professionals leave a trail if you know where to look." Clint grabbed his bag. "You two check into the hotel." He ignored Lori's sputtered complaints and headed off with Nat.

Tony sighed softly."you better",he then looked to Lori."some on I know a great place to stay",he grabbed his and her bag and headed off to the car that was waiting for them

"Oh no. We are not staying some place you've been. I already booked a room before we came." Lori took the keys from the man. "You have to get your own room since I only booked the place for three people." She slipped into the car.
