"Yeah." Aria chuckled. "I feel bad when they discover them."

"For once I agree." Tony snorted softly having come across a few himself. "So who wants to go get milk."

"I will." Aurora stood and headed out to get the milk.

Meanwhile Thor landed near the building he had gone to with Jess.

Stve groaned and sat down."you wenrt kidding,about that being unsetteling",he lookedtowads where the building once stood,but it was now a pile of rubbel,still smoking.Then hearing a beeping Steve looked around and blinked."Um Thor,your coat pocket is beping",he said confused.

Jess stood and followed."ill go with you,safetey in numbers"

Thor blinked and dug into his pockets pulling out the beeping device trying to figure out how to get it to stop.

Aurora paused to let Jess catch up then continued towards the old car. "Lets see if we can get it started." she slipped into the driver seat and began to try to hot wire the car.

Jess smiled at it."wow for an old its beautiful",she smirked at a memory.Then watched Aurora."let me check the engine",she said popping the hood open and looked it over."hm looks good",she said softly."mattery may need a charge",she said and smirled createing a tine spark giving life to teh battery then grinned as Aurora was able to srat it."perfect!"

Steve blinked at the decise then when Thor hit a button it stopped beeping and a hologram came up of Stevie."whos that?",he asked surprised at the alien.

The Hologram messege from Syeve smiled.."Greetings Thor from the other side,well,at least i hope im on the other side and didn't end up in limbo",he shuttered."If your watching this ,then you have returned to the building since Jess was trying to reach me,and is worried",he said looking sad."Unfourchantly,I'm dead,well will be dead....you see ,from a far distance I'v been protectingJessica from a strange creature, i know not of its name but its a uglty looking thing,hudge furry,claws and hirns....",he gave a huff."right now you and Jessica are siting in the other room,so i'll be quick....the creatures that are after her are on there way here,well one of them are anyway,they an open portals. So I'm going to send you and Jessica away,and destroy this place the creature...and myself",he said softly. "So I need to warn you about a few things,when you tell Jessica about me,try and be away from other people....she ,tends to go ,what i have called Super Nova,her powers go out of wack, earthquakes and other natural disasters can ocure",he said sadly."but ,with you and her other friends around,it may not be as bad as it was a few years ago,long stoy short she was in the philiples and some guys attacked her,were about to kill her,and she went into defensive mode and now there is a small city in ruins,this was back when she was 13 and i handt gotten to her yet",he shook his head."Andlastly, in about two months she will,er,be coming of age,or so to speak,her mother said that her full powers,the powers iof the infinity stones will awaken....so again,powers could be out of wack....",he paused hearing the alaram and smiled."well,this is good -bye my new friend,please look out for her ...and have paitents,she's been hurt often and has trust issues,no doubt this will make it work,now if you excuse me I have to slip this into your cat",he laughed ."have a drink for me",he added and the message ended.

Steve blinked staring."what on earth was that all about"

"It's...hard to explain." Thor sighed then looked back to the building. "In short someone Jessica cares about is dead." he grabbed Steve. "There is nothing else for us to do." he flew them back landing in front of the car that the girls had just gotten started.

Aurora yelped as the car gave a shock when it started. "Darn it." she pouted at it. "Meany." she grumbled and then blinked at the boys. "That was fast...are you alright Steve?"

Jessica pouted."hey,i gave the battery life,you hgot it going",she said then jumped when Thor and Steve landed in front of the car.Behing back fats she figuered eveything was fine."yeah,that was quick",she said smiling

Steve sat off to the side giving Aurora the thumbs up,taking a deep breath,though,frown a bit at Jessica's good mood.

Aurora smirked a little at Steve no believing his thumbs up for one moment.

"Jess may I speak with you in private?" Thor gestured towards the hill a few feet away.

Jess blinked at Thor."sure",she said walking off with him.

Steve watched them go,and hopped intothe car."her friend died",he said softly

"Oh no." Aurora frowned feeling bad for Jess. "Lets wait she's going to need a hug." she glanced at the car. "You keep running."

Thor lead her far enough away then turned to Jess. "I'm sorry Jess but your friend died protecting you from something."

Steve looked to her."alright but we may need to get some safe distance",he said sofly.

Jessica starred at him."whwhat",she said tears coming into her eyes,looking paniced

Thor pulled her into a gentle hug. "I'm so sorry Jess." he knew what it was like to lose someone first he had thought his brother had died then he had watched his mother die.

"I'm sure we're fine." Aurora frowned over at him. "Why would we need to move?"

Steve went to Answer but blinked as the ground began to shake a little."tats why",he looked up and could see the wind picking up a little.

Jessica felt her chest get tighten.She felt the need to run,she wansted to get away."l-let me go",she said softly

"Maybe we should go inside." Aurora swallowed a little nervous.

"If that is what you want but remember that I am here." Thor stepped away smiling gentle at her.

Steve nodded."agreed",he said opening the door."come in"

"thats what evryone in my life has ever said to me!",she yelled.She wasnt tryong to be mad at Thor but she was ful of such anger and hate at the moment...."my parents saw i was different ,and kicked me out when i was 1...then Stevie comes,and raises me,then dies....no one ever stays",she said slowly backing away

Thor grabbed her hand frowning softly. "You have been threw a lot but please believe that I wouldn't leave you and if i ever need to go home I would be back. Aurora is the same way." he nods down the hill to Aurora who was standing watching the hill a worried look on her face.

Aurora turned and headed inside but didn't move past the front door hoping everything was alright.

Jess frowned ."but what if yo can't cme back what if something happens to you or to the othesr?!",tears finally pulled over as the winds became huracane like and its started raining.

Steve stayed close to Aurora and frowend as thngs started to get a bt worse.He frowned.The guys on the video had been right her poweres were starting to get out of control.Though he hopped Thor could calm her down

"Then one of them with comfort you. You can't live alone that's even more depressing. At least you'll have the memory's of your friends." Thor ignored the storm it was like his own powers so he didn't mind.

Aurora took Steve's hand and slipped inside the house hiding from the storm.

Steve blinked when Aurora topok his hand and they slipped inside,he glanced at the others who were all watching.

Jessica frowned.He was right of course bbut she didnt know what to do....she cared so much about the Thor,Aurora and Steve,she didnt know what to do."but...",she then hugged Thor tightly crying into him."It's not fair",she mummbeled into him,the storm had suddenly died down,itwas just a heavy rain now...

"I know." Thor hugged her back. "That's just the way it is sometimes but if you hold up your chin life threw everything you'll find the end to the path sooner." It was something his mother had said to Loki once after Thor had picked on his brother.

Aurora smiled relieved that Jess was alright. "Thank goodness." She pressed a hand to her chest then realized she was holding his hand blushing she pulled away. "Sorry."

Jessica blinked a bit ,still crying she peaked up at him."what does that mena?",she asked softly.

Steve nodded."Thor is surpriseing good when it comes to her",he said softly,then smiled softly."Its fine Aurora....",he then looked thoughtful.

"He does seem to be able to make her feel better." Aurora blinked up at him. "What are you thinking about?"

"It means to keep your chin up no matter what. If your eyes are up and not watching your feet you won't miss what life has to show you...my mother use to say it to my neither after I was mean to him or when something sad happened." Thor shrugged.

Steve smiled."I think that you could help her feel better too,maybe tomorrow the two of you should go ut for a bit,to be safe I'll ocme,and see if Thor wants to join me,well keep an eye on you guys from afar",he said softly.

Jessica blinked a bit."oh",she then carefully pulled away wiping the tears form her eyes.She hated crying.It had been years since she cried ,or really showed emotions to anyone.'thanks',she said softly."your mom use to say that?",she said frowning."Im sorry",she said softly

"Yes she was a wonderful woman." Thor swallowed. "She died protecting something she cared for. She would have liked to have meet you." He shook himself. "Shall we go inside Aurora is probably worried."

"That sounds nice." Aurora smiled. "It will almost be like a date." Tony chirped from his chair making Aurora scowl and blush at the same time.

Jessica blinked feeling bad."Im sorry,i didnt mena to upset you",she said softly,blushing a bit when he said that his mother would have liked her."that would have been nce",she then looked to the house and smiled."right ....its proabbly a lot warmer in there"

Steve shot a small glare.'yeah Tony a creepy staler date",he then grinned a bit at Aurora.

"that would be a little creepy." Aurora smiled back glancing over as Jess and Thor came in. She hopped over to Jess and gave her a bone crushing hug.

"Easy." Thor laughed closing the door behind them.
