"It has",Jess agreed and looked to Thor a moment beofre gently leading him to a rougher lookig part of town.

"What are we doing here?" Thor asked glancing towards the tower. "Shouldn't we go that way?"

Jess looked to him."w-we will ..i just have to garb some things first"

"alright." Thor smiled. "I am happy to go where ever you want." he toyed with his hammer. "And happy to beat anyone that harasses us."

Jess looked to him and smiled as she walked into a run down building and looked around.Then headed for a large fraight elivator.Hitting a buttin she smled when it opened."good,tis plac still has power"

"Should it not?" Thor asked glancing around with a frown keeping her close as he investigated the elevator with a frown.

"well,i guess legaly it shouldnt",Jess said shrugging and once in hit a lever that started to take them up to the top floor

Thor blinked. "You are going to explain some of these Earth things." he sighed. "I hope you don't get frustrated with me."

"this is an old style elivator",Jess said and shiftedad it came to a rocky stop .With a bit of fourse she slid the door open ,revaling large appartment flat,though it was run down and al there was inside was a duffel bag, a sleeping bag and a few pillows,as well as a laerge empty oil drum that had been used to make a small fire.

"It's very interesting...do you like here?" Thor frowned at her. "That is not healthy."

Jess looked to him and smiled a bit."its the best a 1 year old can do when there kicked out of thier home for what they are",she said walking over to the duffel bag.

"Your child are forced to live like this?" Thor asked confused. "Surely there is a place for gifted children."

"You where just to special for them." Thor nodded. "On Asgard you would be a great warrior like Sif."

Jess looked to him and smiled a little."too bad thi isn't Asguard" ,she said and after going threw the bag picked it up."alright were all set"

"well,look what the cat dragged in",came a voice from behind them

Thor whirled hammer raised making sure to hide Jess from view. "Who are you?" he growled.

Jess blinked at the voice recognizeing it.

A man,looking to be a bit older then Thor and Jess came out of a room,he looked a little run down but he clearly was armed."oh,just an old friend of Jess",he said looking past Thor."though,when i knew her she wasnt running woth the good guys"

Thor scowled at the man. "It doesn't matter what she was before." he glanced at Jess. "I love her either way." he smiled. "We where just leaving." he took Jess's hand.

"oh but Jess and i ,have some unfinished business",he said pulling out a gun.

Jess gave a small gahsp but glarred."no,we don't"

Thor scowled and with little effort lifted the man into the air. "You heard her." he growled and tossed him against a wall as hard as he could managing to grab the fun as well.

The man groaned in pain staying down

Jess gently sqweezed his gently pulled into the elivator and hit the down button

"Are you alright?" Thor asked glaring at the man till he was out of sight. "Did he hurt you?"

"A log time ago",Jess said softly

"I'm going back to kill him." Thor snarled as the elevator stopped. "I will make sure he never hurts you again!"
