Aurora refused to let go sniffling softly.

Shadow helped Lux sit up who had finally come too. "He has turned against us." she looked sad.

"There must be a reason",Jess said sadly

Steve sat on the bedwith her,running his fingures through her hair

"He was the one who brought Thanos down on us." Lux grimaced as he rubbed his head. "I should have stopped him but he didn't tell me a thing." he scowled. "I knew something was off though."

Aurora stared at Lux. "My brother...he is the reason they are all dead...." Lux nodded.

Steve frowned."I'm so sorry love"

Jess blinked."Thanos?",she asked a bit shocked."the name sounds familier"

"He's after all the infinity stones." Shadow smoothed down Aurora's hair. Her eyes where blank and she was just seating there. "I'm sorry my lady. I should have seen what was happening." Lux frowned. "Its not your fault." Aurora shrugged.

Steve frowned."this is not good"

Jess stood there a momnet before quickly leaving

Thor blinked and hurried after her. "Are you alright?" he asked when he caught up to her.

"No it's not good." Aurora agreed. "If my brother found me Thanos can't be far behind."

Steve frowned."we'll have to warn the others",he said softly

Jess looked to him."I'm fine",she said as she took the stairs."Just want to get some fresh air"

"I guess so." Aurora sighed pulling Steve down she curled against him and closed her eyes. "I hate this." She sniffled. "Why would he do this? I thought he loved me and our parents."

Thor gentle took his hand. "Do you want me to come with you?"

Steve frowned and pulled h clsoe."its okay,we'll figure it out",he promised

Jess looked to him."if you want to"

Aurora buried her head into his chest squeezing her eyes shut as she tried not to cry again. Shadow frowned sadly at Lux who looked miserable.

"Do you want to talk?" Thor asked gentle taking her hand.

Steve smiled to her."you can cry ,its okay",he said softly

Jess looked to him."Thanos...is he really a bad guy?",she asked looking worried

"I've cried enough for one day." Aurora took a breath. "Now I'm just numb."

"It appears to be so." Thor shrugged. "First he sends Loki after earth and now this."

Stev smiled a loyyle."then get some rest",he said softly."or you can have some icecream beofe it melts"

"oh",Jess said softly

Aurora perked up at the word ice cream. "Is there chocolate?" Shadow dug out a carton of chocolate ice cream. "Here we are." Shadow grinned laughing when Aurora dug in.

"Is something wrong?" Thor asked with a frown sensing something was off.

Steve smiled at her softly and picked out vanilla happily.

Jess came to a stop in there walk."I met Thanos,when i was younger,after my adoptive family kicked me out....wh-what if he knew i would meet you and the others and is going to use me against you guys!",she said tears suddenly coming to her eyes and she sat down,right there in the middle of the sidewalk,people behind them cursing when they nearly tripped over her.

Thor blinked. "I rather doubt he could see the future. He would have forseen my brothers failure and sent someone else."

Aurora finished the whole carton with a happy sigh.

"unless he was testing you",Jess said looking up to him.

Steve smiled."was it good?",he asked softly

"But why send a whole army...no I don't believe be will use you against use. Mostly because you are your own person and will not join his side." Thor sounded as if he had no doubts about that.

Aurora nodded licking the ice cream off her fingers and mouth. "It was great." she grinned "Shadow always knows what I want."

Jess looked up at him,why she still felt doubtful,she was glad Thor believed otherwise.She finally smiled a little."thanks ",she said softly

Steve smiled."im glad you enjoyed it",he said as he u the rest of the icecream away

"Actually the chocolate was Steve's choice." Shadow grinned. "Thank you Steve." Aurora smiled at him and relaxed against the bed. "So...what now?"

Thor kissed the top of her head. "There is no reason to thank me my love." he slipped his hand into hers.

Steve smiled.your welcome",he said and blinked at her."we wait,but talk to the others",he frowned as bit

Jess smiled and stayed clsoe to him.'should we go back to the tower"

"Alright." Aurora sat up more. "Its still early lets watch a move."

"Only if you want to." Thor smiled at her.

Jess nodded."yeah ,lets go back,i would like to relax for a little bit"

Steve smiled."sure what would you like to watch"

"Whatever you want to watch." Aurora shrugged and pointed to a cabinet filled with dvds and vcrs.

Thor let her lead the way back since he had no idea where they where.
